The location was very good being right in the middle of Ambleside Free Parking

Room wasnt clean, full of cobwebs and dust everywhere, the view out of the window was a dingy back alley for a bar, my laptop was bigger than the Tv, the walls are paper thin didnt really enjoy listening to the other rooms commotion and the constant slamming of doors, didnt know that the pub next door has constant gigs on until the early hours, making sleep elusive, appreciated the free parking but it is a walk away from the place The door didnt feel very secure, very fllimsy, and didnt trust valuables being left in the room

Very spacious room and bathroom. 1 min walk from ambleside bus stop. plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. Self checkin and staff was very helpful. perfect stay for 3 people

Location was probably the only great thing about this accommodation. It was good value for money since it's in the centre of Ambleside and the Lake District is always expensive and popular. Good communication with the owner when needed, but should advise travellers that the parking permit is available in the accommodation as well, so we don't go crazy looking for a printer somewhere!

There was no lift and taking a big suitcase upstairs was a bit of a challenge because of the landing space. The car park was really far and the map provided in the permit was NOT clear - what about adding street names to the drawn map or just using the map from google map instead? Or better yet, send the directions on google map! Also, if you look for "Ambleside Central" on Google maps, you won't find the place. Look for "Ambleside Central Room only Accommodation" instead, even if the pictures don't match the kind of room we got. Maybe the owners should report the other "Ambleside Central" because there's nothing there - we were confused and had to call the owner. There wasn't enough space for our suitcases - double room is tight for 2 people with 2 suitcases. Main room lamp didn't work and one of the bed night table lamps had a broken bulb too, so quite dark overall. We only got one towel each, so only a big one for your body - no face/hair towel. Luckily we were only there for one night and didn't wash our hair.

I liked it because it was at the centre .

The mattress wasn't comfortable.
