The shower was nice and the guy on the front desk was pleasant.

The amount of crusty tissues that were in our room, down the side of the bed and on the window ledge 😷 It was a sweat box too, with no way of turning down the heating.

Excellent value and right next to Bethnal Green tube station so a very easy location from which to get around London. The accommodation is basic which is what you would expect for the price. They advertise a kettle although, as during my previous visit, there was a fridge although no kettle in the room. The heating was full on which was great for February. You can hear the trains clearly which did not disturb me although this might be a problem for other guests. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for an inexpensive stay in London. You get a bed and a bathroom which, for a short stay, is all you need. A local Sainsburys and a coffee shop is right on the doorstep so you have everything you need at hand.

A kettle in the room would be very welcome.

the sound of he train was annoying and that was close to the window bad smell (the smell of cigarettes and dampness) was felt everywhere.
