The shower had good pressure.

The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side.

The receptionist was very polite and was trying to help as much as he could

Clean but everything was old and worn out, including bed sheets, carpets and towels, looked like used for ages. The internet was very slow and constantly interrupted. The stuff didn't look after for supplying a new toilet tissue or soap in the bathroom, sugar and milk for coffee or tea. The TV didn't have good area if at all, and was with bad quality pictures. Sometimes the heating was forgotten off and it needed time to get warm or having hot water, after questioning the stuff. The cost is too much for such bad quality 👎

reception opens 3pm- had to walk about for 30 mins, but I had told them I was arriving later than 3pm. How to use door card to work elec was not explained, and was not obvious to me.

Blinds are faulty in most rooms......

Located at the rear of the property, no traffic noise. Good bathroom, shower v.g.

Springs to powerful on the room doors, banging through the night, WiFi very poor, off and on with mobile, unable to access on the laptop. Furniture dated, beds seen better days.

The room was very nice and not far from the centre.

Struggled to find the entrance. Booking.com said number 50 and it's not called gateway express on the main sign which was confusing. It just says gateway.

Room was ok.

Reception was supposed to be open until 10.30 p.m. but was closed at 10.15. Very badly signposted - took a while to find the hotel in the dark. Reception was at No. 42 but our room was at No. 50. Had to walk in the rain from one house to the other. No mention when booking that the horel was some 6 different propertioes in a row on th street.

the bed was awful the mattress the springs. woke up with a bad back.

All round value for money. The exterior was a bit off putting which is being refurbished but inside was comfortable and clean

TV didn't work. Area very noisy at night. You can't access the hotel until 3pm but there is a number to ring should you have a problem. Reception not open on the morning we left so we had to post the key card. After posting the key card through we realised we had left a jacket in the room. Unable to access the building/room we rang the number provided but no one replied. I rang later, being told I'd get a call back within the hour, which I didn't, another time asked to ring back at 5pm but no one answered and several other times no answer at all so very difficult to make contact with anyone. Our mistake but if I had got hold of someone I have explained I am happy to pay for any expense to post the coat

very hard to find as no picture of outside on booking.com. also very confusing that they have 2 properties 2 doors apart lots of going to reception to sort entry card parking etc then got into bed & found only 1 battery in remote! lots of noise from road & rail. would have liked option of quieter room as I think there were empty rooms
