Amazing stay in the Rimondi hotel. Best place in town, with perfect location and an absolutely LOVELY staff !! thank you very much for all the attentions, we really hope to come back some day.

The location, ambience, and helpful friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Excellent breakfast included with a most convivial atmosphere.

The room was quite dark and dated - especially the bathroom with poor shower facility. The shower screen was at the wrong end! And there was not enough light in the bathroom. Also slightly frustrating that other guests left towels unattended for extended periods of time on the limited poolside bedding.

Rimondi Hotel We were a group of 5 adults and booked 2 seperate rooms. 1x standard room (upgraded on arrival for free by the hotel so it was next to our additional room) and 1x mezzanine room. Hotel is situated in a restored traditional building with a nice atmosphere. Hotel is seperated into 2 buildings- seperated by a small pathway. Rooms were large in size. Hotel centrally located in the old town of Rethymno which means all sites are within easy walking distance. Hotel has 2 pools and 2 raised terrace areas which are nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Nice breakfast- buffet style with hot drinks, yoghurt, cold meets, cheese, fruit, traditional Greek pies, bread and a range of egg options. Staff were friendly, attentive and pleasant throughout our stay, nothing was too much of an inconvenience- even appearing woth glasses of water whilst relaxing at the pool area. . We would stay here again.

Despite some small issues in 1 our of rooms only- air conditioner in mezzanine bedroom stopped working several times during of our stay and some dirt on the room floor on our arrival- the staff tried to help as quick and as much as possible, which was a nice touch (even despite the hot unsettled night's sleep)

The location is in the heart of old Town next to most of the landmarks and shopping area. Very close to the beach. We stayed in Palazzo. The upper floor isn't recommended for young kids because the of the stairs. We have a big terrace. At night there were a bit noisy because of the music nearby, luckily it didn't last all night. There are 2 small pools and 1 jacuzzi. One is located on the residence side and the other is located on the reception side which is a little more charming by its atmosphere. My wife had booked the "Deep Tissue Massage." The hotel has brought a spa therapist from Aegeo Spa for me. No need to go outside to find one. Really convenient and the massage was really good said my wife. Breakfast is also excellent. With variety of choices including Greek ones. I got to try the Rizogalo (Greek Rice Pudding) for the first time and I loved it! The service and staffs are all polite and professional. Thank you for your hospitality. We all enjoyed our time in this hotel. Hopefully we get to come back and stay.

Lovely boutique hideaway in the centre of the old town. Quiet and relaxed with two courtyard swimming pools and comfortable, light rooms. The staff were fantastic!

Nothing, only the dreadful party of guests who didn’t appreciate that boutique doesn’t cater for large parties and patience needs to be shown if you all arrive at peak time and can’t get a table for 8! We hated seeing the lovely staff stressed and being spoken to like slaves. if you want Mexican resort scaled facilities, don’t come here, leave it for smaller families and couples who appreciate small is beautiful.

access by car is impossible - luggage has to be carried there … living room is not very exciting in styling , rather simple and without atmosphere

We booked Rimondi as a treat, after a long period without a holiday outside of the UK due to the covid pandemic, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our stay exceeded expectations. The staff were exceptional; friendly, warm and so helpful with car rental, restaurant recommendations, and COVID testing. The room was stunning, with a mezzanine style, very comfy bed and absolutely spotless. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town but off a side street so quiet at night. The courtyard areas were the perfect place to relax after a day exploring, or to shelter from the heat of the day. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot and cold options, and delicious. One day the hotel even did us a box to takeaway as we wanted to leave early to get to the beaches. Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Great location in the heart of the old town. Distance to the beach and historical sites perfect short walking distance. The amount of restaurants and bars was exceptional in this area. Rethymno has loads of places to eat. Towards the main beach can get a little noisy but this location you are spoilt for choice. Pools not really used as we stayed in a room with its own HOTTUB and we used the beach everyday. The staff were the real credit at the hotel as they very friendly, helpful and all spoke perfect ENGLISH.

Quaint hotel with a rich history, that staff were very nice and friendly and nothing seemed too much for them they were so helpful, the hotel was spotless, the rooms were spacious and well furnished, the bed in our room was the biggest I've ever slept in and was extremely comfortable, this hotel made our holiday great, its centred right in the old town area so you walked a few steps and you found all the fabulous bar, restaurant and shops, the people of this town are so nice and friendly which made us feel welcomed warmly I can't speak highly enough them

A bit of noise the odd morning due to the few very loud people who went past the hotel at night but that was few and far between
