Magnifique hôtel, très bien situé au centre ville ! Chambre énorme avec grand lit très confortable, baignoire et douche à l’extérieur, très atypique! Petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Hôtel décoré avec goût. Nous avons apprécié le thé gratuit servi à 17h au niveau de la piscine ! Petite attention très appréciée lors de notre retour le soir: deux roses nous attendaient ainsi qu’un message de bonne nuit, ADORABLE !

Small boutique hotel. Convenient location, walking distance to opera house and the Center. Breakfast was good, facility were ok.

Wir hatten eine Suite mit 41qm gebucht. Bei der Ankunft wurden wir informiert, wir bekommen eine der drei Suiten mit einer großen Terrasse. Leider war dieses Schein Upgrade wirklich schlecht. Das Zimmer hatte durch die größere Terrasse nicht mal 20qm. Somit konnte man beim Bett nicht mehr vorbeigehen ohne über die Koffer zu fallen. Die Terrasse war wirklich etwas größer, aber nicht besser als der gebuchte Balkon. Die Aussicht ist auf umliegende alte Dächer und bei einem Stadttrip verbringt man keine Zeit auf einer Terrasse. Wir waren echt verärgert. Dazu kommt, die Fotos im Internet sind schon viele Jahre alt. Die Zimmer sind richtig abgewohnt. Badezimmertür lässt sich nicht schließen usw. Das Hotel ist liebevoll eingerichtet, das Personal super nett. Aber man bekommt nicht das was man erwartet und das gibt Unmut. Nicht nur bei uns. Es waren auch andere Gäste beim Empfang und wollten wissen warum sie nicht ihr gebuchtes Zimmer bekommen. Antwort: Das ist das gebuchte Zimmer, die Fotos sind nur schon älter. Auch das Frühstück war nicht okay. Cappuccino ist zu zahlen (wird bei der Bestellung aber nicht dazugesagt) wobei 3€ ich als okay empfinde. Die heisse Schokolade wurde nie serviert. Es gibt Platzmangel weil der Raum so klein ist. Nach einem gegangenen Gast wird das Tischtuch mit der Hand ein wenig abgewischt und die nächsten Gäste kommen zu diesem Tisch.

The location and presentation of the hotel was exceptional. All the staff included Robert and Yen were so helpful and went beyond to make our stay memorable.

Breakfast was exceptional.... enjoyed different kinds of soups and Vietnamese bread. Located very close to all the shopping centres , harbour and Saigon square where people have lots of fun in the evening. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Swimming pool not as expected. Quite small and no Steel bars to get in and get out of the pool for senior citizens. My uncle found it very difficult.. Otherwise the hotel is very good. Breakfast and tea we used to look forward to. Rooms were always kept clean.

All went really well.

The room was lovely - large bed with integrated Aircon system and easy to use control system on the wall (meaning the room was kept comfortable but never too cold). The hotel had a charming elegant European aesthetic and the staff were always on hand to be of assistance if required. The buffet breakfast and afternoon tea were generous and it was great to avail of the afternoon tea rather than looking for an alternative further afield. There was also a small but adequate weights/fitness area.

Because of the elegant surroundings it felt a little tasteless to have signs threatening certain behaviours with fines ($10) - this included a charge for uneaten food left on your plate at the buffet(!) breakfast or losing a room key card. These types of signs really didn't suit the ambiance so well curated by the staff and left a bad taste.

The service was incredible from the get go, especially the folks taking care of the transfer.

The room was quite small, but it had a bath on the deck which was a nice addition.

We loved our stay here and the family room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were so lovely and helpful, allowing us to check in early and storing our bags in the last day and enabling us to use the pool area and showers after check out as we had a late flight out. The rooftop pool is fantastic, especially at night when you can see all the buildings lit up. The afternoon high tea exceeded all expectations, it was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing we didn’t like - have stayed previously at this hotel. Changed owners since last stay and they have removed some of the extras like the foot massage which was a big plus.

Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was spacious and had good facilities. Pool was on the rooftop and reasonable size given it's in a city centre location. PRoviding afternoon tea was a surprise but it was excellent.

Room could have done with a little more shelf storage.

Lovely hotel in great location, very welcoming and friendly. Clean spacious rooms and nice pool. We enjoyed the daily breakfast and nice restaurants nearby, as well as the bars over the road. will be back

We had such a lovely stay at Au Lac Charner Hotel. The staff were really friendly and helped with any requests. Great breakfast with loads of options, and it was lovely to relax by the pool. Would come back again!

Excellent and friendly staff. Very well located in the heart of Q1. Nice rooftop with a spa/hammam. You can find a lot of good restaurants and shops near the hotel. I really enjoy the personnel. They were very fun and enthusiastic. See you soon

All in all a great hotel. In particular, the hospitality of the staff is wonderful🥹🩷It is very close to the city and the location is good. Please stay here when you come to Ho Chi Minh City! it's recommended!

Walking into the hotel is like an oasis, it’s so beautiful and airy! The staff are wonderful and helpful, The bed—my favorite part. Sooo comfortable. The shower slightly leaks on the floor but it did not effect my stay at all. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I would definitely come back to Au Lac Charner.

Its really nice hotel and staff all are very helpful. They allowed me to check-in earlier so are very happy to have rest ASAP possible. I highly recommend to visit this hotel .au lac charner thanks very much .
