Everything. In a world of properties that don’t actually look like the photos - this one looks exactly like what is advertised. Staff are beyond exceptional. The overall concept of cafe/rooms/offerings is really nice and works perfectly. Highly recommend!

We verbleven hier voor onze laatste nachten in Sri Lanka en het is ons super goed bevallen! Wat als eerste opvalt is het heerlijk, gezellige cafeetje Kumbuk dat zich onder de kamers bevindt. Hier kun je lekker ontbijten/lunchen en koffie drinken. De kamer is zeer ruim en schoon, het bed ligt heerlijk en de lakens en kussen zijn lekker fris. De badkamer is ruim en schoon. De buurt is verrassend fijn om doorheen te lopen. Independence park is een aanrader. De app PickMe werkt overigens perfect in deze stad. Afstand naar het vliegveld met de auto is 35-40 minuten, de laatste nacht hoef je dus niet per se in Negombo door te brengen. Nog een bijkomend voordeel was voor ons de mogelijkheid om laat uit te checken. Super verblijf, we zouden hier zeker nogmaals verblijven als we weer in Sri Lanka zijn.

Great location in Cinnamon Gardens.

It is an oasis of peace in the city. The room was in a perfect state and the staff is wonderful and very service oriented. Added bonus is the place downstairs (you don’t hear any noise from it) where you can get really good food and drinks (with vegan options if you are into that)

Air conditioning needs some maintenance but it was ok to sleep with fan on!

The place is amazing! Very clean and quiet, the room is very cozy and comfortable with a balcony. The hotel has a Cafe, where is very tasty food and great vibe.

It was impossible to connect the hotel before I came , nobody answer the massages and answer the call. But when I came to the place , the manager was very nice and helped me to arrange everything

It was fantastic, charming place and Buddika went above and beyond to help with anything that we needed. Highly recommend!

Room was designed nicely and the bed was very comfortable. It was connected to a cafe - Cafe Kumbuk - which served good breakfast and coffees. Loved the juices! Water station so you can fill your bottle for free.

Staff were very friendly but I was a bit confused on how to find people; mainly it was the cafe rather than a clear reception desk. If the staff at the start can be seen as ‘one’ that’s great.

owner declined confirmed booking and lacked basic courtesy as he has asked us to come back at 10pm instead of reporting time at 2pm. he misbehaved with us by asking us to cancel our forthcoming bookings as we asked him on the basic requirement of having access to our room

the hotel is well located in Colombo. the staff is super convenient, we arrived after a late night flight and received all the instructions via WhatsApp for the check in. the room was very specious and clean, and the place was quiet. the hotel is located in a small cafe which has amazing food, I would particularly recommend the sea bass, one of the best meal of my year!!!! also the staff is super kind and friendly.

Second visit here, the room was as expected We self checked in and out (it was very easy and fast)

The water heater was not working when we arrived, they came to fix it but we were already used the shower with cold water

the decor of the room was very nice and the bed is comfortable and all 4 pillows were great. we arrived in the middle of the night and we were given codes to access keys so that was convenient

sadly the restaurant was closed our first day on a Tuesday. the closest good cafe was a 20 minute walk.

The rooms are very comfortable and the interior design makes you feel at ease. The staff is super friendly. I forgot my apple pencil here and they kept it safe for me over 3 weeks until I came back to Colombo, thank you! :)
