Nice and very clean apartment, 10 minutes walk from city centre. It has a very good rooftop with seaview! The staff is nice and helpful.

Good price The reception give us a bigger room! Thr room has a small kitchen and balcony. Utensils are provided.

Some bad smell in the dining room Far from the main street in Dahab, especially when you going back to the hotel at night, the street is so dark.

Mr. Khaled is very friendly and very helpful. The wifi is also pretty good. The location is quite nice because it's a 4 minute walk from Ralph and has several supermarkets around. The ACs in the room are very good which was super important for me.

The rest of the staff are very unfriendly and don't know how to deal with people properly. They were rude on several occasions and not very helpful. The water pressure is quite bad and the sink is too small.

The staff are super super nice and very helpful!! The hotel is so close to everything and the rooms are big with a cute little balcony!!

Unfortunately the owner of the hotel was intentionally misleading when it came to paying our bill: charging us extra fees for the credit card and miscalculating currency conversions.

The Castle had a nice little apartment and was clean. I needed help to heat the water for the shower but it eventually got warm. There was a fridge and burners for cooking. Lovely exterior of the building and nicely decorated. Due to the distance from the main part of town, the manager offered to let me change to another hotel he managed several blocks closer, called Villa 22, which I did. It was even nicer than Castle, more spacious, with good air-conditioning, WiFi connection (except one day when their router stopped functioning altogether), plenty of closet space/shelves/ drawers, and a little balcony which was great for drying clothes. The shower, burners for cooking, fridge were in good condition and there were sufficient plates, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. The bed was comfortable. I was very happy staying here, especially since the main street in Dahab that is right on the Red Sea was in the midst of major renovations during my visit. Trucks, tractors, and other equipment spewed gas and made noise all day long. However my hotel was in a quiet area, which I was grateful for. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here in the future. Castle was further from the main area of Dahab than shown on the map and a bit of a walk. Originally I booked a ‘Superior Single’ room, but the Booking.com site said “free upgrade” to an ‘Executive Triple’. Unfortunately, I didn’t check the price until after booking the room I’d been upgraded to, supposedly for free. In fact, it was a significantly higher price. In addition, the Booking.com site said clearly that all taxes and fees were included in the listed price, but the manager insisted on charging me extra for taxes. Frankly speaking, I don’t know if this was the fault of Booking.com or if the hotel manager was ripping me off. I want to pursue this with Booking.com, but the illegible receipt that the hotel manager gave me when I paid would perhaps be insufficient to prove what I paid. Lastly, most of the staff at both Castle and Villa 22 could not speak English. They were friendly however their lack of language skills prevented them offering any help. Frequently there was no staff present for extended periods of time at Villa 22, so when there was no electricity at all in my apartment one day, I had to wait quite awhile until a staff member showed up. Friendly cats at both hotels!

The staff (Mustafa, Haled, Mohamed) is amazing! They helped us with everything we needed. Very big, clean and comfortable rooms, hot showers, 24 hours assistance, excellent location. Very recommended!

It’s not the property but the owner that changed his behavior after payment. Property and staffs really good and helpful.

The Castle hotel employees were very welcoming, my room on the back side of the hotel was quiet, the equipment like gas stove is not what you expect to find anywhere - all in all the stay was made very convenient. All rooms have nice balconies for 2 persons. They also allowed late check-out without any extra fees.

Very nice hotel infect it's like an apartment with 2 bedroom, living room and kitchen with kitchenets.

They have to work on bathrooms as we needed to mob to clear the water.

Calling it hotel is kind of a stretch - it's more a group of apartments. The staff was rarely there, wifi did not work, light bulbs blinking - the place would deserve a bit more attention. I would also not recommend it if you are planning to constantly walk to the center, it is a bit too much in the outskirts. I shortened my stay and moved to a similarly priced place downtown and was way happier.

The cleaners and general staff are very friendly and helpful- The place (Villa 22) is very clean and constantly being cleaned. The rooms are large and I was able to work remotely from there.

The manager seems to not be very organised and laid back- he said he would organise an airport pickup but forgot about it - we had to remind him 3 hours before- so he had to scramble to organise a pickup last minute. We were put in a different building/place (Villa 22) ( than advertised (300m up the road) - but it was still very good - only issue it is closer to a busy road. We were put in the most noisy room- but were able to change rooms after we complained. There were issues with water supply sometimes - no water- no shower - had to complain about it, was fixed.
