We loved our stay at the Golden Owl! It is decorated beautifully and the perfect size and arrangements of bedrooms for our group of 2 adults and 7 14 year-olds. We used all the amenities- pool table, hot tub, sound system, grill, fire pit, arcade game, big tv. I enjoyed feeding Mr. Chips as I sat on the deck for morning coffee. Really, a lovely accommodation, you will love it! Excellent communication with the owners ahead of time and during our stay. 5 stars!!!

This house has recently been updated. All appliances, tv's, sound systems, door controls and Alexa are all state off the art. The house feels like a private nest in the woods. We enjoyed our stay and the host is accessible and responsive. Lake Naomi is a piece of paradise!

Something for everyone! This home is well appointed with bedrooms and space, there are 2 spaces to hang out which worked well for us with adults upstairs and kids downstairs....great playroom for them to run around and convenient access to the hot tub. The kitchen has everything you could need regarding pots and dishes, even kids stuff. The bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable, with good linens and pillows! The host thought of everything, very helpful and super organized, had a wonderful site explaining everything about the area and house, even a cute way to feed the birds and squirrels which our kids thought was so fun! Easy check in! Perfect location for access to both Jack Frost and Camel Back mountains, also very close to a couple lakes.

Wonderful house in the Poconos. The house is bright and beautiful. It has a really good layout for families; with game room, tv room and kids bedroom downstairs, with adult spaces upstairs. They had tons of kids toys and books (the train toy was an especially big hit with our toddlers) We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space. The owners were very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this house!

We had a great weekend at The Golden Owl. Leading up to our trip and throughout the weekend, Whitney and Anthony were so communicative and sent lots of information to answer any question you might have. The space itself is a dream. It's clean, bright, stylish and comfortable. They have everything you need, including a potato masher (which I was sure we would have to improvise). The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows and room darkening curtains. The kids and adults were entertained with ping pong, pool, the video arcade, hot tub, board games and even books and coloring for our youngest. The space honestly has me wanting to make some updates to our own home and redo our bathrooms! We're already talking about coming back for a summer stay.

We reserved Pocono Pines for a long weekend retreat and it did not disappoint— in fact it exceeded our expectations! We did not come to the Poconos for outdoor adventure, rather to reconnect with each other after a few challenging years. We sifted through many homes in the area on VRBO until we found this one that had all the amenities we desired: a hot tub; enough beds/bedrooms; room for lounging; a deck; a fire pit; a fireplace; and an aesthetic that would lift our spirits in the middle of winter. The house has so much light and love in it that we immediately relaxed and felt at home upon arrival. The kitchen had everything we needed to create the meals we planned to make, and the living and dining room had plenty of seating. The fireplace added ambiance and warmth while we drank our morning coffee, chatted, and read. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of space for unpacking. Everything was clean and I can’t say enough about how the decor and color palette made us so happy! The owners were very welcoming giving us all the information about the area we could ever want and made sure we knew they were available to help us if we had any questions. There was snowfall while we were there (adding to the magic of the large picture windows in the living room), and the owners were kind enough to promptly send a crew out to plow and shovel. To that point, we also appreciated that unlike some places that have “surprised” us in other rentals with loud mowing in the early morning, we were given a ‘head’s up’ of when the crew would arrive. All in all it was a beautiful, clean space with everything you could want! We can’t thank Whitney and Anthony enough and we hope to return again next year!

We had an excellent experience at this property. The check-in process was exactly as enumerated, and we got an email with a link to a detailed website that told us all about the house and anything we'd like to know. Communication with the owner was fast, efficient, and easy. The house was exactly as advertised, clean, and in a wonderful location. You can tell the owners of the property really care about the house, and seem to enjoy making their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone interested in a relaxing getaway!

House was great ! Fun for all! We loved the game room and hot tub. Unfortunately due to Hurricane and rainy weather we did not get to use the membership to Lake and outside pools. Fun house with teens and kids!

Absolutely delightful accommodations with so much attention to detail! The kids really enjoyed ping pong, the arcade system, the massive TV, bunk beds, the hot tub, and all the games. What Do You Meme was a huge hit with the tween/teen kids. We particularly love the owl decor and the propeller fan in the main living area!! A wonderful aesthetic and fabulously effective. Night lights were a welcome surprise, as we had two 7 year olds with us and those helped allay fears about nighttime trips to the bathroom. We also appreciated the washer/drier and the amazing creature comforts in the kitchen. In addition to a great selection of pots, pans, and utensils, we really loved having some staples in the cupboards. We left some tumeric for those who enjoy Mediterranean cooking! We look forward to visiting your other properties in the future.

A group of 7 of us stayed at the Golden Owl PA and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed everything the property had to offer, the game room, outside deck, hot tub, basketball hoop, board games and the fireplace. Everything worked as expected and there’s just so much for you to do. It was great that Anthony and Whitney had a online handbook that we were able to reference any time that we had questions for anything. Everything was listed and there were even videos that showed us how to work certain equipment (I.e hot tub, closing garbage disposal outside). We all just wished that check out was at least at 11pm and earlier check in so we can have a longer stay at the Golden Owl PA. I think we will definitely be back!

Our group of 10 had a great time at the Golden Owl! The kitchen was well stocked and we had the perfect amount of dining space for everyone to sit comfortably. The detail in the decor was amazing and we found the cabin to be very clean. Would love to come back again soon. There was also a lot to do but we were only there for two days, but we loved how close we were to the nice restaurants, hikes and lakes.

The house is fully equipped and just as beautiful as the photos suggest. Great communication and immediate responsiveness from owners throughout the process. Our family had a great (and safe) escape. Thank you!!

We stayed at Golden Owl for a family getaway with our three young children. We had a great stay there - the house is bright and clean, exactly like the pictures. The amenities are great - hot tub (we used it in January very comfortably), game room, smart tvs. The decor was homey and the beds were really comfortable. The view from the big window in the living room was nice, tall pine trees. The house is close to Camelback and other Poconos attractions. The hosts were super, super responsive. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

This is a really great house in a perfect location if you’re visiting the Poconos. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are well informed and have everything you need during your stay. The house itself is well decorated with a midcentury modern touch. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 toddler age children and had plenty of space. Location wise it’s within 20 minutes of everything you’d want to do in the Poconos. We want to come back in the summer to check out Lake Naomi. Thanks for a great long weekend!

The Golden Owl was the perfect size house for our families, totaling 10. The downstairs Den was an ideal hangout spot for the kids to play & enjoy movies and video games. It featured lots of great amenities and was located in the heart of Lake Naomi so it was easy to get everywhere. The hot tub was a perk on the cold nights! Overall it was safe, quiet & super cozy. It was the perfect spot for us. Thank you for allowing us to share your home!

The living room overlooking the deck, with a wall of windows, high ceiling, and a fireplace is a decorator's arrangement. And our six adults and four kids enjoyed it for our three days. The rest of this practical house is set up for fun -- game room, big TV, bunk beds, room thermostats, beach towels, as though the family is coming back from the lake in a few hours. We dropped in and, except for food, everything was ready, starting with a full guidebook. Ours was an extended family get together, with three generations and reunited cousins, and we appreciated every major nook and feature. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

We came for our yearly cabin getaway. The check in process was very simple. The hosts left very detailed guides on how to access all the house amenities. There were also videos for each as well. The hosts were available when needed. The house itself was very nice, it had all the upgraded amenities and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi outside. The sono music system was an added plus. Kitchen had all the cooking utensils needed. The neighborhood was quiet. I will definitely book again if coming back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We loved our 3 night stay! Two families with 7 kids ages 16 to 10. The layout was perfect. Great amenities and decorated so lovely. The kids had their own space on the ground floor with the game room, den and bunk bed room. We had ping pong tournaments with kids and then adults would go upstairs and sit by the fire. The house is about 10 to 15 minutes from Camelback and the outlets. Additionally it is in a community with lakes and hiking trails. Great trip - super relaxing. The beds are so comfortable too!

The owners recently renovated and made it very nice and a great place to kick back and relax. The house had some really special touches that we haven’t seen in other rentals and they were very much appreciated by us. We would definitely stay here again!
