We had a brilliant time at Captains Quarters which was much needed at this time. More than enough room for 6 of us with lots of lovely sofas to choose from. Sitting in the conservatory with coffee was a treat. Cosy and warm. Loads of cutlery and crockery. Lovely out-door space although our October weather was a bit windy. Ideal for dogs. A great place for a large group with larges living spaces. Well equipped kitchen. Owner was lovely and very supportive. A great place in a great location. The only area for improvement is the shower options... they were A little limiting if the property is full with 12 people. I would highly recommend this place!! What A great place to stay was very please with the full package would and will be stopping there again. Staithes all places dog friendley and the captains quarters you could let the dog in the garden where he was safe and couldnt get out.Sarah was great with everthing and just a phone call away. We had a great visit. A pity it was a short break as we all could have been doing with a longer break. The Co-op was well stocked. We didn’t manage to explore the village but wish we had as one of our party thought the area was stunning. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and very rustic, cosy and welcoming. I can’t thank Sarah enough for ensuring all was good for us and she was only a call away, which we didn’t require but was good to know. I think I slept for the first time in months as soon as my head hit the pillows. We had a ball lounging around in our jammies shooting the breeze. Our family of six plus dog had a great week. The lodge had loads of space for us all to spread out, comfy beds and a nice welcome basket. The secure garden area was handy for our dog as the weather was warm and we could leave the door open. Great place for family get together. Couple of issues on arrival but soon rectified by owners. As it was Christmas time the cottage had been decorated for us, lovely surprise.
