the non-smoking room smelled like a bar. the beds are so horribly old and worn out that we barely slept through the night. we cancelled our stay after one night. The friendly staff offered us a different room but after inspecting it, it was the same bad quality bed. Absolutely unacceptable for 180€ per night. I would have expected the staff to give us a small discount after this experience but we had to pay full price! the restaurant was closed and they only offered breakfast between 8-10 which we did not use.

Breakfast excellent, although I missed the option of toast and croissants. But there were a multitude of delicious breads, so this was not that big of a deal. The coffee was especially delicious.

The bed pillows were too big and too soft for support. German hotels should think of adopting more @American”-type pillows—-smaller and less soft.

Location, helpfulness of the staff, excellent breakfast. Comfortable and spacious room.

Not a real problem but payment had to be in cash or ec card.
