We had an excellent week, nothing like coming back to this chalet after a good days skiing to a warm boot room, log burner, comfy sofa and a hot shower/bath. Ski in/ski out very close to the piste - very well fitted out and very comfortable - we hope to be back again.

My boyfriend and I came here for a relaxing summer getaway, and after a week, felt like we’d been away for a month! We flew to Geneva and picked up a car from the airport and were thrilled at how easy it was to get there – from the airport Chamonix was sign posted and it was all motorways until the very end. The owner’s directions from Chamonix were crystal clear, and we arrived in just over an hour. Parking in La Tour was easy and free, and we always easily found free parking in Argentiere and Chamonix. The apartment was fully equipped, even down to a fondue set, and very comfortable. There wasn’t anything that we needed that wasn’t already there. La Tour was wonderfully quiet both day and night, we had a couple of days chilling in the apartment, drinking a glass of wine or two on the balcony, and although there are neighbours, we didn’t hear them and it felt very private. There were a number of walks of varying difficulty and length that could be started directly from La Tour, all were well signposted, and the leaflets in the apartment showed us where to start from. The benefit of being so close to the walks was that you could do a walk in the morning and come back to avoid the hottest part of the day before heading out again in the cooler evening. Overall, we loved our stay, and would love to come back again in the winter to snuggle in and stoke up the wood burner!

Nous avons passe un excellent séjour dans la station le tour, petit village au fond de la vallée de Chamonix. L endroit est superbe, la vue incroyable. L appartement est a deux pas des pistes. Le confort, l équipement et la déco de l appart sont top. C'est comme a la maison. Nous y étions avec 4 enfants, et vraiment je vous recommande vivement cet appart. Thomas F Paris.

We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much we have booked again! The description of the apartment is spot on, and even under-sells it a little - the ability to ski back to within a stone's throw of the door is fantastic. The open-plan living space with wood burner is perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes, and accommodates 7 people easily. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for self-catering. The Le Tour ski area is brilliant for intermediates, or groups of mixed abilities with plenty to keep more advanced skiers happy for a few days. Easy access to the additional areas of the Chamonix valley by either car or shuttle bus provides more than enough additional terrain for a full week of skiing. One of the great things about Le Tour is it's altitude, meaning that the snow lasts much longer, especially once you get beyond the first lift. This year we are coming back in mid-April and are confident the snow will be good.

We had a great week in the apartment, the accommodation was perfect for 6 people but could easily sleep more. The Ski locker below the apartment is very useful and the location (of effectively ski in/out) is ideal. There is a great open plan living area with balcony and wood burner which is brilliant after a long day on the slopes. Lovely apartment and great resort.

I stayed here for a week at the beginning of February with five friends. It's a really lovely apartment and is well stocked with everything you need. It's in a really good location; you can ski almost right up to the front door. It's lovely and warm and everything was very clean and well looked after. It was just the right size for six people. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was light, bright, airy, and we loved the big roof window. It is tucked away in a quiet corner of a quiet and beautiful village. All the activities of Chamonix are within a few minutes easy drive. The description is very accurate and we found everything we expected. The property is very well looked after and maintained and we were very comfortable during our stay. Ann, the owner, was very helpful during the booking process and provided very clear information and directions. We visited in the summer and the area provides a wealth of outdoor activities in a spectacular setting. We hope to visit the apartment again next year and would certainly recommend it to friends.

We had a great time, we went for 2 weeks and it was home from home. The apartment was really clean and very comfortable. It was lovely to be able to walk 5 mins to the learner slopes and the cable car to get to Le Tour a real bonus. We certainly would like to return next year.

We spent four great weeks in this apartment in Le Tour, fantastic location for easy walks down the wooded paths to Argentiere or more challenging walks using the lifts to get up the mountains. Brilliant regular buses down the valley and only a short walk to the train stop.

Our family of seven and a toddler had a wonderful holiday in this delightful property.It is a really attractive well set out appartment. with a modern kitchen with every convenience , good bathroom/showers and extremely comfortable bedrooms.A stairgate was provided for the toddler and it was very safe for him as well.The village was peaceful and quiet and we loved the constant jingle of cowbells.We could sit on the balcony in the evening sun. It was so helpful that the very pleasant owner was English and only too happy to assist us with every detail.The nearest town Argentiere was a short drive/walk away with shops that provided everthing we needed. We would certainly recommend thid appartment for a really enjoyable holiday.We went to the Le Dahu restaurant in Argentiere several times for evening meals

Having read some of the previous reviews for this lovely apartment they seem to say it all – a well equipped home from home, spacious and comfortable, lovely log burning stove to cosy up to with a glass of wine après ski - the list goes on. And what a great location with the Le Tour ski lift only a few metres away and when we were there we could ski –in almost to the door every day. Great ski slopes for all abilities and beautifully scenic. The owners were very helpful, recommending a friendly and accommodating ski hire shop with extremely competitive prices. Go again? Most certainly perhaps in the summer to experience the mountain without its winter coat.

We booked this apartment for a snowboarding holiday for 4 adults, the apartment is fantastic, it is modern and fully equipped with everything you need. The owner and agent were so helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. The apartment location is perfect, right by the Le Tour cable car (Le Tour is an excellent region in Chamonix, with green blue and red runs which is brilliant for groups of mixed abilities) The buses go from a stop next to the cable car and are free, we were never waiting more than ten minutes for a bus to visit another region or go into Chamonix town. We had a really great holiday and cannot recommend this apartment enough. Many thanks and hope to book again with you!

We have stayed in this lovely apartment 4 times now and plan to return next year , so you could say that we are very happy with it! The main thing is, it is very clean,comfortable, and spacious.The kitchen is well-equipped, so when I do choose to cook a meal , everything is there at hand. My two teenage children also love it here. There is plenty of space for us all. There are two bathrooms, plenty of hot water at the end of the day when everyone wants to shower/bathe and the whole apartment is lovely and warm. Gemma meets and lets you into the apartment. She is friendly and very helpful. She recommended a restaurant on the slopes at Les Houches. Go to it! It's a real find. A little wooden restaurant serving delicious, authentic French food. We always eat at Le Dahu in Argentiere. Good food at reasonable prices. We always go for the hot stone , on which you cook your own beef, duck and turkey breast. All the ski areas are good. We particulary like Le Flegere. Queues are usually long ,but once up there it is worth it. Lots of interesting reds and blacks. The trip tp Courmayeur is recommended and this year we went over to Verbier. The return trip took 3 hours and it was twice as busy on the slopes and on the lifts. Would not do it again. But skiing at Le tour is wonderful. Just minutes from the apartment. You are soon up and enjoying the lovely blue and red runs. Ski all the way down to Vallocine and enjoy lunch there. All in all I would happily recommend this apartment.

We had a fantastic holiday in this apartment in Le Tour. We were a group of two couples and were all very impressed by the apartment and that there was plenty of space for us. The le tour ski area was absolutely perfect for first time skiers and the free shuttle bus between Le Tour, Argentiere and Chamonix was very frequent for accessing more challenging areas. We had a car, but I don't think that you needed one. I would encourage you to explore the rest of the valley if you haven't been here before as I really enjoyed the skiing at the Brevent and La Flégère areas. The only downside is that the resort buses stop at around 7pm, so if you want to go into chamonix for a night out, the taxis can be expensive. However, if you like a little apres ski straight from the slopes and then a nice relaxing evening in, then this apartment is for you. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and we enjoyed many evenings cooking our own meals in this lovely apartment. All in all, I don't think we could have found a better apartment or location anywhere else for my parents first ski holiday, so thank you very much.

Thought that I had better write this all be it a little late, Stayed in the apartment during Easter 09 , A fantastic home from home, with all of the required bits and pieces to make your stay very pleasant. Anne contacted me after the stay for my views which could make it better I could give her little or no imput. The property is in quiet location near to the lifts, it has been renovared to a high standard and was plenty big enough for 5 of us. Would be happy to stay here in the future!!!!

This was my third stay at this accommodation so no prizes for guessing we are more than happy with it. It offers a high standard of accomodation at a very reasonable price and it's a pleasure dealing with the owner and the agent in the valley. They couldn't have been more helpful or reliable. There were 5 in our party, two couples and a single. The sleeping arrangements are perfect for this and could easily included another single. All the facilities would just have easily coped with 6. We like Le Tour as it's ideally placed for access to the slopes. The Le Tour lifts are only a few hundred metres away and you can ski/board back to within 20 metres of your door. Access to the rest of the valley is by bus with everyone else travelling in the opposite direction, plenty of space there. It's very quiet on a night requiring a short trip into Argentier for any night life (Chamonix would be better for those looking for more). If you like the idea of staying at Le Tour then this apartment will be very hard to beat.

This is a fantastic spot - only a stone's throw from the cable car in quiet Le Tour and the baby slopes. Chalet itself was spotless, well organised and decked out, comfortable, and provided plenty of space and privacy for two couples to share - also terrific value. There's lots of wood on interior to give it the chalet feel, but also has all mod-cons. Only drawback is there's no washing machine for the ski stuff - but didn't matter for one week's stay. We (two couples, no kids) particularly liked that there were two double bedrooms with separate bathrooms/toilets. Showers are decent - beds are very comfy. There's cable tv if you want it (came in handy for watching six nations rugby). No phone - but UK mobiles worked fine. Lovely dining area - we had many long meals around the dining table discussing the day's boarding adventures! Lots of cumfy sofa/arm chair space for lounging about after too. We only ate out once over the week. Chalet is so convenient that we also popped back for soup/sandwiches for lunch too before returning to slopes - which helps keep the food costs down. Chalet's no smoking, but the terrace provides plenty of room to pop out for quick smoke. Heating was very efficient - so didn't bother with fire. You can ski//board to the door. Owner was super helpful with all the questions we had before we arrived, and caretaker made sure everything went smoothly while we were there. Le Tour is a quiet village - no life after about 6pm - so don't come here if you want to party within walking distance. That said, Argentiere is five minutes away on the free valley bus (Chamonix is 15 mins away), so evening fun is not far away. We didn't bother hiring car - made do with direct van shuttle up from Geneva airport and valley bus service which works well and is free with ski pass. There are bus stops at all main ski points and supermarkets. Argentiere supermarket has everything you need, but is quite expensive. Slight downside is bus stops at about 7pm - after that its hitch or rely on fairly thin taxi service. Let Tour ski/boarding is great for all levels and has a ski school base too. One of the ski lifts broke down for an hour one day, but otherwise the infrastructure worked well and queues weren't off-putting. Le Tour could do with a few more chair lifts instead of button lifts. All in all, the chalet is so lovely that I thought twice about writing this review for fear the secret would be out and I wouldn't be able to book it again. Enjoy!
