Our 8 adults and 2 toddlers had plenty of elbow room in this well furnished home with a beautiful sunset view. There were pool toys and yard games as well as a pool heated to 83 and a spa that warmed to 104 in about an hour. Benefits included a small sandy area to launch our rented kayaks, boat loads of pool towels and plentiful chef tools. In the kitchen we found a hand mixer, blender, roasting pan, stock pots, buffet warming tray, pod and drip coffee pots, toaster and crock pots. There were both indoor and outdoor dinnerware sets and barware. The property manager was awesome, being attentive to my requests and taking ownership in wanting the home to present in its best light, as if it were her own. Its location is about 4 miles from the nearest Gulf beach - offering a quiet, peaceful environment to enjoy the 180 degree water views while still being a short drive to the celebration vibe of AMI. Even during Thanksgiving week, we had little trouble finding parking once on Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach.

Perfect family friendly home with an amazing porch overlooking the bay. Would definitely recommend for a large multigenerational gathering!

The home is beautiful with a lot of things to do right on the property, with a short drive to the beach as well as the grocery store. We loved the old and the new characteristics in the home. The family all had a wonderful time while staying here. Our family made many great memories during our stay!

Overall the house was great for our family. Plenty of room. The upstairs was updated as the down stairs living area was not like the photos. The furniture had stains and the house needs some up keep on the bottom level. The porch and pool area was fantastic. This is where we spent most of our time. The dock was great due to we rented a boat for the week. A disclaimer that the water is not swimmable in the back of the house would have been good to know. Bacteria and horses go back and forth all day. The water hose on the dock does not work. We had to buy light bulbs for the pool table area due to several were out. The host was very quick to help with the washer going out and had it fixed same day. Overall the house was great and we enjoyed the stay. One suggestion a additional large fridge for the garage

Fantastic, well appointed home with amazing pool and spa. If you want easy access to Sarasota with the quiet and privacy of scenic Palma Sola Bay, Plantation House is a great choice. I highly recommend it!

Nice house, clean, lots of stuff for the beach and the kitchen (if you cook). Manatee beach is nice with small waves (with windy days you can even body surf!) Nice pool. We enjoyed also the 2 bbq outside! Actually, the house was what we expected, which is a good thing! Recommended! Thanks!

We stayed in and avoided local excursions. Most of the days we lounged by the pool. We enjoyed the game room and sitting on the deck during the evening. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We are considering renting the same house in the future.

We stayed for four nights after a week at Disney World. Everything in the house worked perfectly and the view was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this property.

This property was absolutely wonderful, Anna Maria island was just over the bridge and the bay was full of wildlife right out back. We saw dolphins and manatees the second morning we were there. The outside grill area was perfect and we had a large buffet style bbq with everyone while we were there. This was definitely an amazing vacation home and we would rent it again in the future.

The house was nice, even if it was a little over priced. The gameroom and the dock were are favorite features. When we weren't out enjoying the sights, we were out on the dock, in the pool, or in the game room. The pool was filled with centipedes. No.one came to.clean the pool while were there. The master bathroom shower also had an abundance of centipedes. The house would have benefitted from an exterminator. I.almost called one myself. A lawn chair at the pool had a screw sticking out toward the seat. I ripped my leg open when i.sat down in it. It did not need stitches, but it bled quite a bit and it ended up bruising. When I contacted managent about the chair, they said they would send someone to take care of it. No one ever showed up. We enjoyed seeing the swimming horses with their riders. There also was a 10ft bull shark in the bay. We got the pleasure of seeing it a few times while it was hunting. The manta rays were amazing to watch. We did not see dolphins or manatees. We were told by the neighbors they hadn't seen them in over a month. Marine biologists from the University of Tampa Marine Field Studies cam out to check on the shark and take readings of the bay. They said they have been tracking the bull shark and it has been in that part of the bay for about a month. Some of the guys caught catfish off the dock. There were a couple blue crabs found in the crab trap. The beaches weren't far and they were easy to enjoy. We loved Bean Point. Beer Can Island was nice too. We went kayaking, deep sea fishing, and we rode the horses in the water. Some of us were having so much fun, we wanted to extend our stay.

This property was spectacular for our family vacation! Extremely spacious and beautiful. The kids loved the game room, pool, fishing from the dock and the large yard. The adults loved hanging out on the big porches and enjoying the amazing views. We saw dolphins, manatees and a bald eagle! We rented a pontoon boat for the week and we all enjoyed exploring the waterways and small islands, tubing and wake boarding. The location is convenient to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants! Our entire family agreed this was the best family vacation yet!!!!!
