Excellent location of the house, close to supermarkets, restaurants and other shops. We stayed in the structure for the Daytona Beach Bike Week, so we didn't even see the sea and we could not appreciate the proximity to the beach. In the house there is no table where you can have lunch or dinner, and there was only a stool so we had to dine with the plate in hand sitting on the sofa ... very uncomfortable because it is an old sofa on which you sink when you sit down. The lady who greeted us on arrival, however, made up for it immediately the next day by letting us find a table and four chairs where we ate dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning. I recommend putting an extra light in the living room because a small lamp is not enough when dining, and we had to move the table to the kitchen area to be able to dine well.

The rooms are a bit too small, and the space between the wall and the bed is very small. A friend slept on the sofa bed which had no sheets (I had to give him my bed blanket as a base, and the one in the closet as a sheet) and the mattress was practically non-existent...it was like sleeping on box springs. We had thought of dining outside on the common patio near the pool, but it was impossible because there was no light. Impossible to use the swimming pool available in the evening because the area is practically in the dark. Same thing for the barbecue that we lit the following evening, but using the torches of our cell phones. We would have preferred to eat outside given the beautiful evening, but as already specified we were in complete darkness. Pay attention to the rocking bench because it is not fixed well and as soon as you lean on it, it overturns and you risk your life. Poor availability of bathroom products because it was impossible to get 4 people to wash for 2 days with enough products for 2 people for a single day. In fact I had to use my own products brought from home for emergencies. Also in this case the lady, after having warned her, brought us some other soap... but I think these are precautions that must be kept in mind before the guests arrive. As well as putting a few bottles of water in the fridge for customers to find after a long journey...they are a few cents of dollars that don't affect the final profit, but that increase the appreciation of the structure. In practice, it is necessary to make up for the shortcomings of the structure with a few small extra services. Check out was set at 11, and although the time had changed, we still had to leave the apartment at 10 of the old time. The prices were high because we know it was the week of the bike week, but we are still 35 minutes by road from Daytona, and you spend as if you were in Daytona.

I like that it was close to the beach, and walking distance to 2 good restaurants. Newly renovated except for shower.

Booked the room for 3 adults. There was no pull out sofa and we had to get one from another cottage. The mattress on the pullout was awful and no adult could sleep on it. The fridge and A/C made so many noises all night we couldn’t sleep. Shower towels were really small and scratchy. Not impressed for what it cost.

The location was perfect for the activities we had planned..

The rooms were dirty. When we pulled out the sofa bed to make it up there were 3 empty water bottles and dirt under the bed. ( We had to call to get sheets, but they were delivered right away. The manager was very helpful. ) There was a cobweb with a dead spider in the corner of the front room. There were empty water bottles under the main bed too. The tub was dirty and had hair in it. We went to the store and bought disinfectant to clean it. The pipes rattled terribly when you turned on the hot water for a shower. When we went to make coffee in the morning, there was molded coffee grounds in the coffee maker.

The check in case process was not expedient. Room not clean; offered an upgrade; took it. On- site manager was very nice; tried to help. They put a lot of work into upgrading the kitchen(which people probably don’t use), but forgot to upgrade the 50’s bathroom. Beds comfortable. Location of motel great.
