The location was nice, in the forest, just outside Esquel.

It’s not my habit to say almost only bad things about a stay. But this property left me no choice. It started with the staff: we barely saw anyone. Interaction that there was was brief and, honestly, a bit rude. As if we were an unwelcome distraction. The home itself was small, all the taps (all!) were leaking. The bathroom was damp and smelled moldy. Nothing was provided in the kitchen, not even salt. The departure experience, finally, was also bad. Once again, nobody there. We called the number posted by the reception. “Just throw the key and the cash in the mailbox.” We had insufficient local cash and wanted a receipt. “Transfer it by bank then.” Ok, we promised to do that and set off. Several texts ensued if we would not consider to wait and come back to pay by credit card instead of following the proprietor‘s own suggestion for a bank transfer. Long story short, we turned around and waited for him to arrive. Charged us 10% more for credit card use, without announcing that upfront. And made it sound like it was our fault. The value for money was already so-so, but with this surcharge and attitude, we really felt ripped off. I suggest you avoid this place and go for one of the nicer-looking cabaña complexes in the same neighborhood.

The location wasn't great unless you have a car. It is a long walk to town. The manager of this accommodation has very little if any people skills. We were basically not allowed the door of the office and did all of our transactions standing outside on the step.. we observed this happening with other guests also.. Not a very helpful individual.

Lovely and homely feeling in this cabanas. Has got more or less everything you need.

WiFi was quite slow. Really the only thing to dislike about this great place.
