We just spent a perfect week at this lovely beachside condo. It was spotlessly clean, the furnishings appeared new and the king bed and pull out couch were super comfortable. This unit has everything you need and conveniently located close to town. Absolutely no complaints!! The beach is gorgeous and we enjoyed finding shells in the morning and beautiful sunsets from the porch in the evening. We rented bikes and had a super fun time riding around town and to the local restaurants RC Otters, Mucky duck and the fabulous farmers market on Tuesday! The host was really responsive and we had an easy time checking in and out. Will definitely be back!!

Liz's condo is refurbished with high end finishes that match the lovely view of the Pacific. We especially loved the sliders that allowed us to have an indoor -outdoor feeling. She thoughtfully provided coffee and cream, salt and pepper and Kleenex. We appreciated the nearby grills and boardwalk to the beach. Nearby osprey nests added to our feeling that Captiva is on the mend. South Seas itself has a ways to go to provide a true resort experience but our goal to support the community we love was met and Liz's condo was a taste of what's to come.

We enjoyed our stay in spite of the construction work going on. Not really bothersome and the workers were very nice. The condo is beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Liz is the perfect host! She kept us apprised of the construction several months out of our arrival which was extremely helpful. She was very attentive and answered my messages in a timely manner. We would definitely come back in the future. South Seas is a beautiful resort!!!

Even with the damage from the hurricane, everything was amazing and relaxing.

What a great stay. Barely anyone around due to hurricane recovery but the room accomodations were spot on and in perfect shape. Everything needed was there down to salt/pepper and no filters needed for the coffee pot. Walkways to the beach were restored and pool right outside this unit is almost ready (another was close by). Island store (baileys) just a bike ride away had a surpisingly almost full grocery store stock avail. Great sunset views from the room. Highly recommended for your next beach get-away.

The registration process on VRBO was easy and smooth. This was our first use of VRBO and we will use it again. Our contact with the property owner was easy and she was available. She did not, however, reveal the full condition of the exterior of the property and made it clear after we were there that there would be no full or even partial refund. The interior of the property was as stated on the website. The rental unit itself is average, clean, well accessorized, and does have a great view of the pool and beach. The master bed is comfortable but light from the stairwell that shines in all night from the outside hallway through externally controlled shutters makes sleep difficult. The exterior of the unit, however, is an active construction site and these units should not be rented until all exterior construction is completed. I will try to post photos. There is a sign posted on the unit door - it's a legal directive from the municipality that says inhabit at your own risk. The elevator is not hooked up to electric. The area between this unit and the beach is still torn up from Ian. Construction was noisy, overhead, from 8am to 6pm or later. We were told to use the pool and beach behind the neighboring building - a half mile walk over rough sand/dirt walkways. Older people, unfit people, and people with children should avoid this property.

We would of liked to be informed our pool near our unit was closed prior to booking. Ants in kitchen as a nuisance. Duct vents need freshing in restroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The condo was very nice ,clean and up to date. It has an amazing view of the beach and gulf from the large screened in balcony which you can watch the sunset right into the water from. The pool was great and has a nice 8ft deep end. The beach is awesome with plenty of room and soft sand. The seashells you can find there are crazy and we loved hunted for them. There are some delicious restaurants that are now open and close by. My wife and I were celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary and it was the best vacation we have had together! Highly recommend that you stay here!

VRBO needs a six star rating for hostess who go above and beyond to ready a condo after a major hurricane. Exactly as described, very clean, nicely furnished, second floor balcony with views of sunsets every day. There are repairs ongoing but that means no crowds. We had two weeks of the place to ourselves. Steps to uncrowded quiet beaches and lots of shells. This is exactly what my wife and I were seeking for our 52nd anniversary. Thank you Elizabeth for letting us share your condo. I can't think of anything that could have been better

I stayed here with my spouse in the spring of 2023. The first aspect of the condo we noticed was how it faced directly west and had fantastic views of the Gulf. We loved having breakfast on the screened porch and watching the unique wildlife and the waves! The condo was very clean and was thoughtfully stocked with lots of cookware and beach towels; there were even beach chairs provided for free. It was about a two minute walk directly to the beach, which was very clean and beautiful. A few great restaurants were founds within a short driving distance. We also very much appreciated how the host was not only easy to reach, but also proactive and candid in letting us know about ongoing construction in the building (it turned out to not be a problem). We'd definitely stay here again!

I love the location of the condo on the island. Short walk to the beach or pool. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. My husband and I plan to be back again! This was our 2nd stay (same condo)

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and loved the Captiva area. The condo was very quiet and the view from the balcony was great, especially for sunsets. The beach was never crowded and there is a nice boardwalk with showers by the pool. I would definitely recommend this condo for a couple that wants a nice relaxing stay!

My wife and I stayed in late July and had a fantastic time. Location was ideal and within walking distance to really anything on Captiva. The room itself was clean and very nice and just steps from the beach. The keyless entry was hassle free. It was an ideal vacation for quiet and relaxing beach bums.

What a wonderful property! Everything was perfect: very clean, well appointed, clear instructions, etc. The view cannot be beat. The location is great – we loved the pool and beach access and enjoyed walking to Doc Ford’s. Other beaches and locations on Captiva and Sanibel are a quick and easy drive. I will definitely stay here again next time we visit Captiva. Highly recommend.

This property is amazing! Clean, comfortable, everything you could possibly need during your stay included. Breathtaking sunsets from your own private, screened balcony, Just footsteps from the beach.

Sparkling clean and easy to find we're just the start of our vacation here. Great pool and beach acess which were both necessary for relaxation. Eat early on the island or make reservations and you're going to be happy you did.

This was our first experience with VRBO and have no regrets at all. We were very impressed with the transparency and accuracy of the host and her description of the property. Hope to return again someday soon!

My husband and I got away for a quick anniversary trip and this condo did not disappoint! Beautifully decorated, gorgeous views and very clean. I would highly recommend this unit . We had a fabulous stay!

The condo was clean, comfortable, and fully stocked. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, and the view was lovely. Great place to stay!

Great Condo and perfect location!

This is a great unit, with an amazing view and excellent amenities. Everything is in excellent condition and you have all that is needed to enjoy your time on the beach and watch gorgeous sunsets. Check-in and check-out are easy and worked flawlessly.

From start to finish the overall experience with this property was fantastic. The property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The views were amazing… and it is such a quick walk to the beach. We look forward to staying again.
