This property looks great in the photographs but in reality it’s not perfect nor is it a 5 star property. To begin with the kerb appeal is disappointing with a rather sad and neglected garden to the front. The driveway surface is cracked and broken in areas. On entering the property on first impressions it looks good. However this property has the potential to sleep six yet did not have enough dishes or sets of glasses to cater for 6 people. There were three glazed ceramic bowls of which one was cracked and another one had a significant chip around the rim. Only one champagne flute, some mixed glasses but no small glasses. The numbers around the dials for the hob and oven were virtually invisible. There were very little plastic plates and cups to use outside. The lighting in the en-suite is dreadful particularly over the sink where one bulb was not working. No handles on the sliding door to the en-suite or closet. The living area sofas are tired, marked and not comfortable. The patio furniture on the deck has seen better days with rips and a cigarette burn to one of the cushions. The rattan table was damaged too. The decking handrail is very rough and there are spindles missing. The beach parasol in the garage was broken and could not be used. There was no visible cool box. The beach towels are cheap and one was badly stained. The pool was not warm enough for use until 31st December despite being there a full week. There is no screening around the pool so if you have younger children this would be a concern. The outlook to the rear is very pleasant. The covered area with the climbing wall has the potential to be a great space but it was under dressed with a sofa , coffee table and a random desk and chair. With a little more thought and an injection of imagination this could be a great space to be enjoyed rather than a walk through from the master bedroom to the kitchen or to the pool and outdoor area. We selected this villa as it looked very appealing and felt paying more would be a good decision. We were left dissatisfied and disappointed with the finish, comfort and lack of attention to detail. It would be impossible to consider this 5 star property in its current condition. There are too many flaws in its presentation that need attention.

Beautifully spacious and relaxing home with well equipped kitchen. Good pool and ultra hot spa. Pleasant views over the canal and not overlooked. Comfy beds and hot showers.

House was great! Clean and suited us well. Kids loved the pool and the home is a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay again!

Very nice property with large kitchen, comfortable beds and heated pool with hot tub. Very clean and easy communication with property manager. Only 15 minutes to Siesta Key Beach.

Stayed at this lovely house while moving son in to college and attending orientation sessions. The 5 of us spent time every day/night in the private and secluded pool and jacuzzi. Incredibly relaxing way to spend our last week together! The house had everything we needed and more.

My kids always asked to go back to the house with the rock climbing wall and we were so excited to see it was available for our recent trip. Our whole family loves this beautiful home and it’s perfect for our family of 6. The kitchen is GORGEOUS and always stocked with whatever we need (minus the food of course). The pool/spa is amazing and we love the upgraded remote control system. Great for relaxing after long days at the beach. Only a few minutes drive to our favorite beach, siesta key. Management is always friendly and accommodating. We will definitely look for this home next time we come to Florida!

A quiet peaceful neighborhood. Cozy home and the canal is entertaining with wild life to watch. Great location….close to beaches, shopping and excellent restaurants

Great location with amazing views. If you like wildlife this home will not disappoint! You'll have a ringside seat for watching herons, egrets, turtles and more! We even had a group of frolicking manatees putting on a show for us. :) A daily favorite was sitting on the deck in the morning, watching the world come to life, sipping our cup o' joe and we thoroughly enjoyed the spa and pool. If eating out every day is not your thing, the chef size kitchen is decently appointed and had my appreciation each time I made breakfast or dinner. Close to Siesta Key, Lido Key and of course downtown Sarasota which are all fabulous in their own right, you can't go wrong with this VRBO. To top it off, the owner Chris and property Manager Rudy are wonderful. We did have a hiccup when we arrived but they were extremely responsive and quick to remedy the situation. I definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you Chris and Rudy! We tend to travel to different places rather than repeat our journeys but we will be back if we come your way again! Cheers, Rachel and Bill

This house had everything you need for a family vacation. Lots of kitchen supplies, pool/beach toys and kayaks. Very clean and a quick ride to Sarasota or the beach. Property Manager was very responsive and checked in with us during our stay. Highly recommend.

We were very pleased with everything this property had to offer. We liked the neighborhood. The canal is beautiful and peaceful. Everything was within close walking or driving distance. What a great relaxing vacation!

This property was in a perfect spot. Close to the beach and Siesta Village but not too close to all the hustle and bustle.

We had such a nice time! The house was just what we needed. The house was equipped with everything, from kitchen to beach towels and chairs. Rudy answered all my questions, and did it quickly. We will definitely come back to this house

The house was big enough for all of us. We enjoyed the pool. The master bed was broken or not on the frame correctly. Kayaks were available but no where to put them in. The host was helpful and attentive until we left. We were accused of breaking the door, which we did not break. Not sure why they reviewed us almost a year after our trip.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and felt very spacious. Of course our favorite feature was the pool and the hot tub. We spent most of our week out there! I would definitely stay here again!

We wanted to be as close to siesta key as possible. 10-15 min ride depending on traffic. Same distance to downtown areas. House is in residential neighborhood. Great kitchen. Nice and big house. Very clean. Some issues with pool but we spoke to manager and fixed issue. Perfect for families

We arrived at 4pm to check in at the property to find the cleaning crew still there we could not start our vacation for another 2 hours. Then we check the pool it was dirty we had to wait for the following day for the pool to be cleaned another 1/2 day we could not use the pool. Then the master bedroom has see thru curtains so you couldn't sleep in. On the third day my son-in law received a text early in the morning to throw out the trash and garage door didn't work si we had drag the garbage through the living room. And these guys never offered if we wanted to stay a little longer or a discount for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this property at all.

We visited for my sons baseball tournament/vacation. The house is 3 miles from the fields and 4 miles from the beach. Perfect location! The kids enjoyed the pool & kayaks. This property is a must if you’re visiting Sarasota.

Beautiful vista of a winding Phillippe Creek. The higher location of the house gives a very private feel and the deck near the pool feels like a home resort

Property was a beauty!! Randy was super helpful and Siesta Key is absolutely gorgeous, and the property is close to the beach and community. I'd recommend this property if you're staying in the area.

House was very clean, and the property manager lives minutes away and is very helpful. The house would be especially great for families with little kids with its big sunroom and small-kid climbing wall. We're glad we stayed here even without little ones. Other notes: Pros: Great location - 10-15 minute easy drive to two beaches, and minutes from groceries, etc. Very open, sunny house with great natural view out back House/neighborhood very quiet Furniture/kitchen/bed all clean/comfy/well stocked. Cons/Notes: Could use more/better instructions for tv/pool/pool heater No dock, so using boats only advisable during high tide (but nice area to paddle around) AC intake in family room very loud and whistles, it's surprisingly annoying...

Not sure where to start. My family and I needed a place to take a break from the isolation at home routine, so we chose this home to isolate in a different town ;-) Seriously, it was PERFECT! Great for the kids, 5 yr old twins. They never wanted to leave the pool. Outdoor space was great, especially in the morning for coffee on the deck, and at night for some adult drinks. Interior was spacious, had everything we could need. Ceiling fans in every room, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, big TV in the Living Room, were just some of our favorite amenities. And the location! Also perfect. A short jaunt to downtown in one direction, beaches in another, Myakka State Park in another. A great trip!

We had a lovely time at the house. From a super cute, clean home, strong locks at the pool entrance and air conditioning kept perfect, plus Not far from the beach, we loved our time. This home was great for the kids and adults alike. Thank you!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property and Rudy the host was great. Great neighborhood, not to far from Siesta Key and to downtown, a 10-15 min ride to both. House has an awesome open layout finishing with a Florida room that provides a great view of the creek. Kitchen had everything you needed with plenty of counter space. Lots of wildlife to keep you entertained. Kayaks and Fishing were also available which made the stay enjoyable. The deck was great place to have a bbq or just chill out and get some sun. We enjoyed the pool which is heated and we also enjoyed the jacuzzi. We would've extended our stay but unfortunately there was a reservation behind us. I would recommend this place and would also stay here again.
