Central location, easy walk to attractions, Bay area, short drive to other things if needed. Good beds! Spacious enough for 7 of us, and overall very comfortable, had all the main essentials needed for our stay. Experience of living in a traditional terraced Scarborough house also was good. Nice quiet street, and parking was fine.

Overall it was fine. But wouldn't have done too well in the "Four in a bed" initial inspection - could have been cleaner, especially upstairs bathroom, dead bugs in the light and streaks on the walls, some dishes in the kitchen needed washed before use. House has had a makeover at some point in the not too distant past, but tbh a bit of a superficial paint over in some bits, and could do with a refresh in a lot if areas eg upstairs bathroom again - walls were very roughly finished and holes where a glass or soap holder had been and mould around parts of the window frame at the shower - I don't expect perfection but wouldn’t put up with that at home. Leak under kitchen sink fixed by me. No breakfast cereal bowls! Big downside was that the whole transaction for the accommodation was very impersonal, all done on line, no one to meet and greet etc. Also the Scarborough Stays booking arrangements REQUIRE you to send full personal identification details over the internet, which is a big no no for identity fraud these days, but had to do it or they wouldn't provide access/check in details and no refund of monies possible. Also, on line booking system had quite a few glitches and the way the system works, things aren't all confirmed until less than 24hrs before arrival time - far too short notice to deal with any issues that might arise.

Smart and spacious. Great location parking was a bonus.

Communication before and after with managing company was frustrating. Automated systems made errors.

Just a lovely house, lots of room. Everything you need and great location. Two bathrooms, towels etc great heating and easy to use.

Provide kitchen roll as well as toilet roll. Also some sponges or a brush for the sink. It's not a moan just a pointer.

Plenty of space generally, heating worked quite well, (December is cold this year!), good facilities generally, it is an easy walk to shops, and much of the rest of Scarborough's attractions

A few kitchen equipment issues I reported to the host separately, and the sitting room radiator does not seem to perform as well as the other rooms

We were very happy with the property. Plenty of space and kitchen was well enough equipped for the stay. Most attractions were no more than a twenty min walk away.

Property situated in quite residential area North Bay Area only 10 min from Peasholm Park 20 min walk to South Bay could not fault this property spotlessly clean and well equipped. Parking disc for free parking good communication with owner key code sent before arrival extra parking was purchased could not fault anything

Lovely house with plenty of sleeping room. Nicely presented. Very clean. Near to the park and beach. We really enjoyed our short stay. Lots to do 8n Scarborough.

Only gripe was parking, although managed to park metres from property so not a major distraction

The property was large, well-kept and had all the little bits provided that you take with you ‘just in case’, i.e. bleach, wash liquid, shower gel, wash sponges, hangers etc.. The location was good but as expected some travel to get to main Scarborough front, not an issue though as the exact location was made clear on the accommodation details. The rooms had lots of added extras that made it more homely such as photo frames, throws, scatter cushions, extra pillows and fresh pillowcases etc. Netflix was available as well as other Smart TV channels which was nice. The wi-fi was fast which helped when planning the next days itinerary. The host Graham was helpful and courteous. He checked that we had everything we needed when we got there which was a nice touch.

This may be personal preference but from hygiene perspective I think a dishwasher should be standard in such a property. We washed all the pots we needed as soon as we got there but if there had been a dishwasher we would have felt a bit more confident in using them from ‘out of the cupboard’ so to speak. Some cups we washed had bits of coffee in them but you can’t expect the cleaners to check every piece especially if the previous visitors have put them back like this. Nothing else at all. Brilliant value for money and we would definitely recommend to friends and family!
