Every year my family and I rent a house in different locations, and this year we chose Destin. I'm not sure what the maids did to clean- my bed wasn't made and there were crumbs on the carpets. The kitchen was lacking utensils, we didn't even have a pan. The barbeque was filthy with grease- we tried starting it and it lit on fire! Issues are resolved when you call, so people came to clean it and bring pans. The microwave doesn't work so there's a second microwave on the counter. There were a lot of homes that had golf carts but this one didn't, so the walk to the beach was okay, but it would've been convenient to have. The pool was nice too, but again a little walk. There were a lot of house rules, you can't turn the thermostat under 70. But there were no fans provided either. Ironing boards but no irons. Besides that, the rooms were good sizes, the setup was nearly perfect for the family- every bedroom basically had its own bathroom. Photos don't do it justice, the ceilings are high and everything feels spacious. If asked to stay here again, I may personally pass but find another rental in the neighborhood because it was nice!

The home was nice but barely have any kitchen stuff and hair dryer need to be have for every bathroom.

The house was great. Well laid out and in great condition. About a 10 minute walk to the beach. The community pool was adequate but could get crowded very easily.

This was my mom's 70th birthday party she really enjoyed her stay and loved the house. We are making plans to come back next year for another family member party.

The rental was nice but there was pet hair on the furniture and hair on the shower walls and bathroom floor.

Very nice property! Our family thoroughly enjoyed! Our only had a couple of issues. The freezer went out and we weren't aware of it until after grocery shopping. We a few items that melted/ ruined. We also love to cook breakfast a few nights while vacationing! Definitely need to bring pots, and pans/ sheet pans! Otherwise it was well equipped and location was perfect!

Property was spacious and clean. Furniture and TV were nice. Very limited on baking and cooking tools and pans. For example, there was no cookie sheet. There was something in the description that gave the impression we were within a fairly easy walk to the beach. But, Miami St. gate was not open to us and we needed to walk another block down to Hollywood St. Long walk just getting to Scenic Drive. The bunk bed room sleeping was difficult for larger adult children. Might be fine for little kids, but quite uncomfortable otherwise. We enjoyed our stay but wanted to provide valuable feedback. Very nice home

Happy place was a spacious and beautiful property. However, floors were dirty when we checked in and I feel like a golf cart would be beneficial with this property because of the walk to the beach. Overall, it is perfect for big families and in a great location.

Really love the home. It was clean, spacious, and had everything you need for a relaxing vacation.

The house was great and the configuration of bedrooms was good. The floors under the bed and dressers hadn’t been swept in a while but otherwise it was clean. Great KitchenAid appliances and we especially appreciated having a gas grill outside.

Fabulous vacation home! We had 8 adults and 4 kids in our group and had PLENTY of room! House was very clean and well taken care of. The walk to beach access was a bit longer than we had expected, but manageable. Carrying chairs, boogie boards, ice chests, etc was a tad complicate, but would NOT hinder us from staying her again! If you plan on cooking or meal prepping for lunch, we would highly recommend picking up a few staples on your first grocery trip such as paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing tabs (only 3 provided) and trash bags(only 3 provided). Overall, it was PERFECT for our "framily" trip!

Our family of 7 stayed at this property for 5 days, and it was beautiful. It was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen and living area are much larger than they appear in photos. It was about a 0.4 mile walk to the beach, which was a bit more than we were expecting. But, the beach was beautiful with perfectly clear water. The only complaint that we would have was that there was minimal toilet paper, no trash bags, and there were no beach chairs to take with you. It was a great property, but you should bring those things with you! We will definitely be back!

My family and I had a great vacation. The house was down the street from the beach (walking distance). This was super convenient when you have toddlers. Also there was a lot of food and shopping locations no more than 10-15 mins away.

This was our first time in Destin and the property we stayed at was perfect for our family. We had eleven family members and the layout could not have been better for the group. Our check-in was a briefly delayed due to a computer glitch but other than that the house was great. The houses on either side of us were college kid groups. The house directly to the south was very close but the group was quiet and nice. The group to the north got loud and obnoxious with graphic language but shortly after it started someone shut them down like right now. I was VERY happy to see that kind of behavior was not tolerated and we didn't have any further problems. There were a couple of maintenance items that being minor didn't need to be taken care of right away, but would be good for the next guest. The walk to the beach is not that bad. We used a couple of collapsible wagons to haul gear to the beach. It would be more convenient to be able to use the Miami St gate to the beach than the Hollywood St gate, however. All in all, a very nice property!

The place was clean and great for large families. We had plenty of room for our group of 12. It is a little further from the beach and pool than what we would have liked, but not bad if you don’t mind walking, we ended up renting a golf cart to make things easier

This was an excellent property and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Our Happy Place made us extremely Happy!!!. We had more then enough kitchen utensils, plates, cups, pots, and pans and all of the restrooms were filled with plenty towels for the entire stay. Our only complaint was the air in the downstairs bedroom and the room with the bunk beds It stayed warm the entire stay. If at all possible please keep a mobile fan in the closet for guest who may get hot or over heated. Also keeping the temp set at 70 as stated on the wall while cooking is very hard to do, it gets hot as soon as you cut the burners or oven on. Other than the air in those 2 areas and while cooking, everything was beautiful. our stay was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Our house was beautiful and very clean. We had 2 families with 8 kids ranging in age from 6 months to 11 years and we had plenty of space. The fenced in backyard is a great size and the kids loved the pool. We only received our door code and needed the gate code, pool code, etc but a quick call to the property manager and we had a text sent in seconds with everything we needed. Our family usually rents in HHI and decided to give Destin a try. We would definitely stay here again!

There was lots of roaches and spiders. We killed at least four in our room alone. Beds were comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked with essentials. Floats and coolers were provided but broken. Loved that we had control over the thermostat. Sucks that people couldn’t vape on the porch or backyard. Tvs were nice. Cell service was spotty. There was no window covering in the kitchen. The adjacent home renters could literally look directly into our kitchen and vice versa. There should have been a gold cart provided. Almost every other house in our neighborhood had one. There was hair and sand in the drawers in some of the rooms. Decor was extremely nice and inviting! Close enough to beach that we would stay again if we planned another last minute trip like this one.

Spent a week celebrating graduation. Walking distance to beach. Great location!! Our friends had another house 2 blocks from us in the beach, quick walk to beach multiple times per day.

First time to Florida beaches for vacation --- this was an unbelievable experience for our first trip to the Florida panhandle!!! The property is a perfect location and the home itself was more than we could ask for. Would definitely stay here again without a doubt.

This house was amazing! It's very clean and everything was brand new & top of the line. Beds were super comfy! The beach was a short walk away. Back patio was very nice. And the kitchen had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
