We loved having our kids be able to go back and forth from the beach to home without worrying! Amazing location!

This house was very adequate for our large party, however it definitely needs a deep clean. The floors were very dirty and the glass shelves that wine glasses etc. sat on were really dirty. We liked the property and the location of it and we would rent again if we could be guaranteed they do some deep cleaning. We had two units, our family had 8 adults and several kids.

We rented two units, one on top of the other. The location is Mission Beach, one block back from the promenade. Downstairs unit is kind of dark. Teeny tiny bedrooms and bathroom other than the primary. The first thing to hit us was the god-awful smell - some of us thought it was cleaning fluid, others a man's cheap cologne. In either case, it made staying in the unit nearly impossible. The unit is also in need of a SERIOUSLY DEEP cleaning. The floors were clean, we were afraid to touch anything else. Wash any dishes, glasses or flatware before you use them. The upstairs unit has a small view of the ocean. It is a much brighter accommodation, though suffers from the same need for deep cleaning. It was obvious that towel racks in both bathrooms had been falling off for some time and half-assed attempts were made to correct the problem but just keep getting added to what must be a very long list of deferred maintenance projects. The TV in the living room did not work the entire time we were there. And that brings me to the worst part - there is no way to actually talk to a live person for this property. By Friday afternoon they are incognito, and do not respond to either calls or emails. On Monday they emailed that they would send someone by to fix the TV, but they didn't. And no word about why. All of this would be fine if the place were a couple hundred bucks a night but it is very expensive, with some outrageous fees tacked onto it (like $430+ for "cleaning," which it obviously doesn't get much of). If you are a large family or young adults who just need beds to crash in at night, and you like this area, then you will be okay with this property. Otherwise, I'd keep looking.

Perfect beach units for our stay! We all enjoyed amazing sunsets from both upstairs and downstairs patios, easy walk to Belmont Park, & grilling on the patio. Kitchens were fully stocked & tons of beach gear. Only issue was with the cable upstairs, but the manager was quick to respond. We miss it already!!

We had relatives visiting from out of town who absolutely loved the entire experience. Some restaurants and rides were closed but we still enjoyed how close it is to Belmont. It's also 1 house from the beach and boardwalk is much better than directly on the beach. It has much better privacy, less windy but with all the benefits of being close to the beach and the sunset. Also both units are well-appointed with essentials and some extras like washer/dryer, BBQ grill and outdoor seating. I would rebook this house even for a staycation for myself!

Amazing property and right in the middle of everything! Very comfy home. Our family had a wonderful time & the units had everything we needed. Would 100% stay at again!
