The location was superb, the views incredible. Room was clean and elegant. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, specially Rafael at the bar. Just fantastic.

There should have been more information available at the concierge for activities and things to do In the area.

Breakfast included, really nice staff, very good parking for cars, charging possibility for electric cars, quiet area, rooms and villa directly and private access to the lake and away from the street, really private -only 14 rooms, clean, very pretty location, great design, really nice „details“ everywhere in the hotel, restaurant with a wonderful view and super comfortable chairs/ „living room atmosphere“, attentive/ thoughtful restaurant staff, every day fresh water bottles, fridge in the room- bigger than the „usual small mini bar fridges“, close to Como and not extremely far to Lugano or Milan

No TV, no sauna, area not great without a car, only one restaurant near by (besides the restaurant in the hotel), internet reception could be better, gym room, no sidewalks- like almost everywhere around the lake

The food at the restaurant was exceptional. The wait staff were so attentive and welcoming. Also our room had beautiful views of lake como out the windows!

The perfect hotel in every way. Decor, staff, service and breakfast/dinner were delicious. Dyson hairdryer was an added bonus! Our room corner suite 2 was heavenly with incredible lake views, couldn't get better. Didn't want to leave!

the room (double suite) was perfect for a group of 4 friends, we really enjoyed the little sitting room and sadly couldn’t enjoy the terrace because of the rain but it looked stunning. oh and we loved the views from everywhere. magical ! loved the food at all times during the day. the complimentary breakfast has a lot of choices and variety and everything was delicious ! the chef is really talented. the barman suggested some wonderful cocktails and even brought them to our room. the staff was unbelievably nice and super attentive to us without being overwhelming the complimentary yoga in the palazzo building with the views was sooo nice and instructor very pro !

The location is amazing. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully kept, the garden is perfectly maintained, the pool area is big enough and the sunbeds are comfortable. The rooms are clean, we rented a double suite which came with a living room and a terrace with great views of the lake.

There are a few problems which can spoil your stay at this hotel. You have a choice between kind but incompetent or experienced but rude waiters. The older, experienced waiters refused to serve us bread at some point saying they ran out (???) but two minutes later they brought some to another table. When we complained they said we did not identify specifically what type of bread we wanted. No apologies, nothing. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Another night we went down at 10 pm for some drinks and the waiter says they are closed, even though a table of guests were still there. When we note that the night before their colleague said they are open as long as guests are in the restaurant, they claim they closed down the bar. We cant drink anything. Luckily the table of other guests made a fuss and after a ten minute argument (!) had the waiters open us a bottle of wine. This is what you get for 900 euros a night. An absolute disgrace! You have to fight to be able to have a glass of wine (other bars in the area close at 10, the only open bar is 10kms away and taxis are hard to find). Clearly the waiters couldn't wait to get rid of all the guests so that they can go home. As I understand the waiters work daily shifts meaning they are there from breakfast to dinner - while this must be exhausting they should not take it out on the customer. The younger waiters stumble around but get the job done. Additionally, while breakfast is fresh, the food selection is limited compared to other five star hotels. The pool water is not heated and the rooms could benefit from painting.
