Great location. Nice and quiet. Very clean home.

Interesting layout: The 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath were on the ground level, and up the stairs was the open living room, dining area, and nice kitchen. There was also a full bathroom on that floor. There was a sliding glass door to a balcony, but the view was just the surrounding residences, also 2-story buildings. Very nice, clean, and lovely hardwood flooring. However, BE CAREFUL on the steep stairs! My friend slipped and fell all the way down. She was basically okay, but we were both quite cautious going either up or down the slippery, hard-wood-floored steps after her fall. There was one window in the living area that offered a view of the ocean, which is just down the street, but there is no beach access. It is a drop off, with no trail. You can sit or stand there to watch the waves, but you need to go somewhere else to actually walk on the shore. It was a very nice place, quite relaxing and lovely. If steep, slippery steps do not deter you (we are old, fat, and not in good fitness), then I would highly recommend the house.

We stayed 4 days with our 2 young children, excellent place for our family. Check-in was hassle free, the residence was as advertised, we would be more than happy to stay again!

The property was clean. However I didn’t realize two bedrooms downstairs and their living room and kitchen were upstairs. We had to bring our groceries to a steep stairs, if you have knee problem just warn you might have hard time to go upstairs, and their stove , you need to use stainless steel pans otherwise the stove will not turn on. My cook had hard time cooking, most of his dishes leave a burnt pan since it’s stainless steel . It is quiet place. I’m not sure about charging cleaning fee when they want you to take trash outside and take bedsheets to the laundry room.

This property is large and spacious, perfect for a family or group of friends. It was very clean and offered a beautiful view of the ocean. The walk to the beach and restaurants in Nye Beach is short. Its conveniently located to Newport and Nye. Parking is limited if you have more than 2 cars.

Great location and fab place to hang out!!

Nice place close to the beach. The only bad thing was that the towels had some mysterious stains and the cover of one of the beds a blood stain. The good thing is that there is a washer and dryer to fix the issue. Any inquiry with the property was timely answered by the friendly manager. We will definitely stay there again.

Very nice house, quiet and spacious. Four minute walk to the beach if you jump off a cliff, otherwise a great view of the ocean.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back! The location of this place couldn’t have been any better. It was within walking distance to everything you could want or need, and close enough to the sea to hear the waves!

Location was great.

The house has a nice view of the ocean from the living room. Like some beach houses, there was a musky odor. We appreciated having a washer/dryer. Check in was easy. Given the fees for this property and our length of stay (1 night), the ask for what to do for check out seems a bit much ( strip beds, start a load of laundry, empty alm garbages).

My husband and I with our two kids spent a lovely weekend at this home and enjoyed the openness of the upstairs with big windows to see the ocean. The larger bedroom on the ground floor faces the street so it was a little bright from streetlights and noisy but nothing too bad. About a 10 minute walk to beach access. ** Be careful you don't park behind the unit. Though there are spaces for cars to park, only park out in front or in the enclosed driveway if you'd like to avoid a jarring early wake up knock from your neighbor

Stayed for four nights with my partner and two young kids. The location worked well for us, and we made the short walk down to the shops, cafes, and beach several times a day. The house had plenty of room and was fairly comfortable. No frills, as mentioned in other reviews. I was glad we brought extra comforters for the kids' beds so we didn't have to run the heater all night. My one complaint is that the bedrooms had absolutely no airflow and the air quality in the house felt poor. The entire neighborhood seems to have an issue with groundwater drainage, and there's a pervasive smell of stagnant water indoors. The bedrooms are on the ground floor so you can't leave a window open for fresh air, and the layout of the house prevents any natural circulation in those rooms. The upstairs layout worked well for us, though, and we really appreciated the snippet of ocean view from the living room.

We decided last minute to get a beach house and this was a good pick. Property was clean and nice. It is on a busy road so a lot of car noise however was tolerable and didn't disturb us. It would be nice to have more channels on the TV in the kids room we could only find PBS. Overall a great place to stay last minute.

Our family appreciated this clean and modern house. The location near Nye Beach shops and eateries, as well as the beach, was convenient too.

We chose this house for the location, and the hardwood floors, leather seating, and bright, welcoming kitchen. Not disappointed. The living area is ideal for a small group. Listing does not say that downstairs bedrooms share a single Jack ’n Jill style bathroom, however, and it’s the smaller of the two. Not ideal for a house that sleeps five.

Things were generally as described, but there was road noise and very slow filling toilets. The beach is walkable, but it is several blocks to the entrance.

Overall we were not very impressed. Not very well stocked at all (kitchen, bathrooms) and felt like a cheap rental property. We had a carbon monoxide alarm going off all night and it took them until the next afternoon to fix it. They should probably figure out how to erase browser history from past guests (windows that were left open on TV) 😳 Not terribly close to the beach - maybe a 10+ min walk into town. We do love Nye Beach! Definitely worth checking out.

Perfect house for a family!

We had a great time staying here. It’s a great location and an enjoyable space. Will give a heads up if stairs are not for you, may not be the best choice for your stay. But beautiful balcony view for sunsets.

An easy check in check out. Clean and comfortable rental. No beach access. On a busy street. Plenty of things to do within short drive.

The house was very clean. Within walking distance of Nye Beach. There was everything we needed for our stay.

We had a nice stay in this home. From the listing we thought there was closer beach access, so it took longer than we thought to get to the water. The house was very loud, with all wood floors and not much to absorb sound. All in all we had a lovely time.

We had a great stay at this property. It was very clean and offered a minimal view of the sunset. It was a pleasant walk to the beach, approximately a 1/4 mile. Restaurants and shops were totally walkable as well.

The house is very nice, Kitchen well supplied. The location is great as well, within walking distance to shops in Nye beach. The only issue was the code to get in didn't work, when I called there was a bit of a wait in trying different things then ultimately had to wait for an hour for a maint. person to show up. That was very incovenient as we were expected at an event.

The echo when talking upstairs was annoying and would have liked a chair in front bedroom for putting shoes on, but overall a pleasant stay.

We had an amazing time in Newport and every day came home to a wonderful property with everything we needed to relax and spread out. The location was excellent - a short walk to the beach and restaurants in Nye Beach. My only issue was checking in. The code didn’t work. The manager was very receptive and fixed the problem for us - we just had to wait about 20 minutes, but we took that opportunity to walk down the street to see the Pacific!
