I have been coming to Florida for winter get-aways every year since retiring from university business school administration in Minnesota in 2014! I look for a place that has close and easy access to the beach, but is also as close as possible to the Orlando attractions for day trips for my children and grand children who visit while I"m in Florida., and has a swimming pool for when the kids are not at the beach! This vacation home has it all: there are no street crossings to get to the beach in a couple of minutes; the oversized, heated pool is in a very private yard; it is the closest beach to the Orlando attractions - one of my families took their three children to open and close Universal Studios in a little over an hour each direction on the same day; there are a multitude of great, nearby restaurants in every direction and several within walking distance including the iconic Cocoa Beach Pier; the accommodations had everything we could possibly need for all nine of us at our peak with room to spare! As bonuses we got to see many cruise ships coming and going including the largest cruise ship in the world, the Wonder of the Seas, up close and personal, and a rocket launch from the beach next to the house. There was also easy access to a wonderful, tropically oriented zoo, the Brevard Zoo, just a few miles south in Melbourne; and, the Kennedy Space Center is a must for every visitor, especially school aged kids! All in all my family is very willing to settle for PERFECT!

Perfect place for a multi-generation family vacation. Spacious, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, great kitchen and living room. Kids swam in the pool daily or walked to the beach. Easy drive to Kennedy Space Center and the Orlando Parks. We even saw a shuttle launch from the beach! Check in is easy and contactless. Owner's son stopped by once to check in on things. We had an accidental injury on the property and Cathy was super attentive. Definitely recommend this house for families! There are noise ordinances, but honestly, we were exhausted and in bed well before the 10pm time!

We arrived to an incredible house, so clean and inviting! We were there to celebrate my dads 80th birthday (he lives 7 minutes away). The kitchen had everything we needed to have meals here. We were fortunate enough to have a few beautiful days on the beach which was an easy walk for our father. We lucked out and watched 2 rockets get launched from the same beach, it was truly an experience to behold. With or without the rocket launches, this house was an amazing place to "launch" our father into his 81st year. We definitely plan on coming back!

Enjoyed our stay. SailAway House fit our needs well. Location was great. House was clean. Pool area was nice but yard could use some attention. One issue, TV in living area was not working upon arrival. This issue was not resolved during our stay. One selling point for this location was the living area where we could sit back after a long day and watch a movie together. I understand things break but lack of resolution was the issue.

This house met all our needs. Since we went in July the pool and the ocean were very important. The house is very close to the ocean and a good spot to watch launches from SpaceX. My family and I recommend this house for your family vacation.

Perfect house for my wife and I, our 3 children, thief spouses and 4 grandchildren. Plenty of room for everyone, great pool, close to beach and pier. We saw 2 space x launches from the beach during our stay. Great host. One of of our best vacation sights ever! Thank you Cathy

Spacious home; very clean. Newer appliances. The pool is large and well-maintained. Enclosed porch. Our stay with 8 adults and 3 children under 7 was comfortable. Close to shopping. Easy walk to the beach.

The house is super nice and perfect for multiple families. The pool is awesome and it is a very short walk to the beach. Great communication and easy check in and check out. Definitely will look to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time! What a beautiful property. Loved the open concept, beautiful kitchen, pool and quick walk to the beach!! VRBO listed as sleeps 12. I do suggest that is changed to 10 since only 10 can be in beds. (Wasn’t a problem for us but if we had 12 people I would’ve been upset to find this out after booking.) I was surprised to not have dressers and end tables on both sides of the beds in the bedrooms. I would’ve liked to move out of the suitcase for the week. I also would suggest more comfy touches like throw pillow & blankets for the couches. House was stocked well with soaps & starter toilet paper, etc. I always appreciate that! Overall very happy and would stay here again. Cathy was great & responsive!

This is such a beautiful big home - with all the whistles and bells. This was our 2nd visit and hope to return!

House was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Easy access to the beach and the pier. Heated pool was wonderful too! It's an easy walk to several restaurants or ice cream. I'd certainly recommend this wonderful house!

Our family of 11-6 adults and 5 children had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sail Away Cocoa Beach rental. House was very clean, location was awesome and the homeowner, Cathy, was attentive and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!!

A well maintained clean property , steps from the beach , groceries, and some restaurant choices . The pool was beautiful, and a wonderful place to gather and play. Appliances up to date. Four comfortable bedrooms ( a fifth if needed), with plenty washrooms. You won't be disappointed if you rent this property.

We had a great stay. Place was super clean, property was located in a convenient location to the beach. Pool was amazing!

Our adult daughter uses a wheelchair and this home was perfect for her and our family. We enjoyed cooking and eating meals around the dining room table. A short walk to the beach and the grocery store.

Staying at the SailAway home was amazing. Our family loved the convenience of swimming in the pool and then walking to the beach in the afternoon. The home was kid-friendly, and in a great location and we hope to be back soon!

We enjoyed our stay with our extended family from ages 3-68. Lots of space for everyone to stay comfortably. Home was very clean. Appreciated all the pool and beach toys, wagon, etc for use. Would be nice to have a few more homey touches like extra blankets, a few more staples in kitchen like olive oil and sugar. But overall a comfortable, enjoyable stay less than a block from the beach. Would stay again!

Beautiful house about 1 block walk to the beach!

The house was perfect for our family group- plenty of space, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pool was the biggest private pool we had ever seen. And so near to a beautiful beach where we watched the sun rise day after day. We even spotted dolphins. Would highly recommended

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. The location was next to none and the house was perfect for our family. The owner was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be renting this house again in the near future.

We enjoyed our stay at this spacious home just a few minutes walk from the beach. It's also very close to a nice grocery store and many restaurants. The owner kept in touch and we had a quick response from the local manager, Brian, when we had a question.

We had a GREAT TIME!! Weather was great. There was never a lot of people on the beach which made finding a place on the beach easy. The house was in a good location for restaurants and beach access. Would highly recommend this house. Cathy was GREAT!! She text me to let me know of a rocket launch on Sunday and best place to see the launch. VERY COOL!! The house had lots of room and had a large pool. Definitely on the list for next year. Thanks Cathy for a great house!

Super close to the beach!! Loved the pool. We had a great time on our trip and would definitely rent this house again.

We had an excellent week at the house. It was nice that the beach was so close, and my kids enjoyed using the boogie boards in the waves. There are a lot of boards and chairs to take, and there was a wagon, but we chose to carry everything due to the stairs. The pool was a great size, and the water temperature was perfect. The house was clean, renovated nicely, and had everything you could possibly need. The only thing I would add would be dressers for the bedrooms. You could tell that the owners cared very much about the maintenance of the property; we had no problems at all the whole week. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would stay again. If you get the chance, you can see the rocket launches on the beach or even just outside.

Loved the location. Close to beach, shopping, pier, restaurants. The pool was a bonus especially with little kids. We had 11 people saying (2 babies). For larger groups you may need to bring extra towels.

This was a great place for my family to stay. The house is large and beautiful. The lanai was large with a fan, table and even kids picnic table. The pool is beautiful and clean. Tons of pool and beach toys. Even some shade on one end of the pool mid afternoon. Great proximity to the beach and shopping. Walking distance to several restaurants and bars and the pier! To get to the 5th bedroom, you do have to walk through the kids room, but it was manageable. Also noise carries through the house, but we had sound machines for the little ones. Overall, one of the best houses we’ve ever stayed at and would stay again!

Very short walk to beach. Outdoor shower was very nice cleaning up with kids coming back from beach and the pool was a nice back up option. It was spacious and kitchen wa a fully stocked. Grill worked great for bbq. Home owner was very responsive and even reached out to ensure a problem free stay.

We took a small elementary class from Indiana to spend time at EPCOT, NASA, Sebastian Inlet, and Cocoa Beach. The property was a perfect fit for our stay! The great room was extremely spacious with comfortable seating, a large dining table, a very nicely appointed kitchen (with every cooking utensil we needed), and a large bar with seating. The bedrooms were a good size with comfortable beds, linens, hangers, and a few box fans (though one did not work). The large bathrooms were equipped with hand soap, towels, and toilet paper. The screened in back porch had a large dining table and chairs perfect for early morning meals or late night snacks. The pool is LARGE and was kept clean and warm during our stay. There is nice patio furniture for seating. There were all kinds of water and beach toys - beach wagon, cooler on wheels, goggles, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and pool floats for us to use. The washer and dryer was a life saver throughout our stay. Though we didn't use them, there were several things for younger children - two pack-n-plays, a high-chair, floaties for the pool, etc. Cathy was very easy to work with and even made suggestions of places to eat and visit during our time in Florida. We would definitely consider staying at this property again!

House was very accommodating for our family - Cathy took extra measures to ensure the pool was being fixed and to keep us in the know about local events. Super happy with our stay.
