Paul was very informative and attentive even before arriving! His home is very spacious and family friendly. My children loved every second of their stay. The pool is very clean and sunrises and sunsets are breath taking. It was nice to getaway from our busy lives in the city and enjoy quality family time. Cant thank you enough Paul! We are looking forward to coming back again!!

The house was big and beautiful and the pool was great. Very fast response from Paul the property owner if you need anything. Would definitely go back again, we were sad when it was time to go.

This property is amazing! So much room for large gatherings. We cooked, we swam, we played yard games and watched the turtles in the pond. Plenty of room for parking and a quiet neighborhood.

Mr Paul/host was very prompt in responding and great with communicating. The Tropicali Cove was an awesome stay. My only gripes was the tv didn’t work in the master bedroom, there was no soap or body wash (I’ve become accustomed to expecting that when traveling) and the outside areas - grill & under palapa should have been washed.

The property overall was great. It had an amazing kitchen and pretty much the entire downstairs. It’s made for entertaining large groups and flows so well with the backyard. It’s a property you can stay with large groups or even a small family. My wife and I would gladly stay by ourselves and the value beats any hotel in our 30 mile radius. It’s so close to Pier 6, Gilhouley’s and Top Water…I’d recommend you reserve this place ASAP before the summer is completely booked. It couldn’t have been a better experience.

We all enjoyed our stay, some of the kids did a little fishing they caught one and released it but they had fun. It was a cool but the kids enjoyed the pool a little it rained so it was short.

My family and I stayed for New Years eve. The property was clean, quiet and had lots of space for my family. From the private parking to the back yard (amazing) the entire house...we were not disappointed. Every room was PERFECT. The neighbors put on a heck of a fireworks show BTW ☺️.. thank you Paul for your hospitality we will be back

This property was more than we expected. The house was outstanding. The little touches made our stay even more special. We love having paper towels in the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with enough paper products, dishes, stainless and pans we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

my family and I loved this place from the pics and fell in love deeper when we got there! The house itself is an experience, out of our week stay, we lonly went out a day and a half spacious and cozy at the same time, it was a dream! Paul is literally one of the best host we ever had! He went what i am sure was above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed to house and neighboring towns. This is a house that we would easily stay in again! Thank you and God bless

I rented this home in early Oct for a girls weekend with several friends. We had a great time. While the house was very clean and spacious, the pool was sparkling, there are several reasons why we can't give this property a 5 star review. We knew from the listing that the decor was out of date and that was never an issue - but we expected to be comfortable, have outdoor seating, beach chairs and beach towels as described in the listing amenities. The host Paul offered a 10% discount off the room rate for another 2 night stay, in exchange for a 5 star review, but I don't think there is any value in this offer because we wouldn't rent this house again, and it's not a 5 star property. Paul also offered to give me a 5 star review as a guest in exchange for a 5 star review of the property, which again, I can't with any honesty give a 5 star review. It's clean, it's spacious, very private, and has a great view out back of the lake. We had a marvelous time. But... The only room/area that had enough seating for all of us to be together at the same time was the dining room, and the first night one of the legs came off a dining chair when my friend sat on it. We were lucky she wasn't injured. There wasn't enough seating outside for all of us to hang out together at the same time, and the pool loungers in the photos are not there. Paul said they are in the process of replacing the outdoor furniture and he put some "old school" loungers near the pool but they looked kinda gross so we didn't bother. I wish we had brought our own camp chairs so we could have all sat outside together. There didn't appear to be any pool towels, but there were plenty of bath towels we were able to make due with, and we ended up buying our own towels at the local Target to get us through. There are no king size beds on this property and only one queen. I wish I had paid closer attention to this in the listing. Most of the beds are twin or full. The quality of the beds is pretty terrible. They are old, noisy, and offer no support. They were uncomfortable and only the queen bed got anyone a good night's sleep. The living room area has 3 armchairs, a small loveseat, and 2 big bean bag chairs, no sofa. If you're not comfortable on bean bag chairs there may not be enough seating for more than 6 grown ups. We didn't expect luxury but we expected more than what we got for the price, which is now $200 more than we paid. Unless something drastic has changed it's still not 5 stars.

We are 6 couples over 60 and been renting properties at various locations every yar for the past 40 years. This on is one is one of the best rentals we stayed at. House is very spacious and has a lot of outdoor space to relax. Some of the beds were squeeky and the half bath sink was draing very slowly. Overall, we really njoyed the stay. Property manager (Paul) was very prompt with enquiries. I may go back with just my family in the near future.

The house was perfect for our family of 10. Each couple had their own bedroom. The house was very nice and spacious. The pool and backyard were great!! We had a few issues that came up during our stay. But Paul, the manager of the home was great!! He made sure we received what was needed promptly. He responded in a very timely manner. Location was close to Kemah and NASA. We had a wonderful time.
