We were in town for a WCU graduation and needed a place to stay. The home was very clean and well equipped. We were able to make dinner for 5 people as the kitchen had everything we needed. The huge deck had beautiful Mountain views with comfortable rocking chairs. This place would be great for a much longer stay and would certainly accommodate many more guest.

The views were magnificent and the cabin was decorated nicely. Kitchen had everything we needed and enjoyed the family area downstairs in the game room.

We enjoyed our second stay at Mountain Ridge cabin. We like the fact that the cabin is located in a quiet neighborhood that feels very remote but is near many of the things we like to do in the area, as well as restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The cabin is comfortable and cozy, and the views are really pretty.

Cabin was well appointed. Better than I was expecting. It had more of a openness to it. But the driveway was a little shocking. I could navigate it well but thought there should have been a warning Management Response: Thank you for your feedback!

My family of 6 loved this cabin! It's an older cabin but to me that makes it even better. The views were amazing, the game room was so much fun, and the seclusion was perfect! My kids even asked if we could stay here on our next visit. The drive up is not steep at all which is a plus. Only thing that may concern those with larger vehicles is the road up to the cabin is extremely narrow, one vehicle only, and no where to pull over so you have to back down that narrow winding road which can be a little nerve wracking. The good things about the house were, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and had a nice big table to accommodate everyone, the family room was comfortable, an the view was beautiful. The reason for our rating is that there were dead bugs all over the floors downstairs, the refrigerator leaked water inside and everything that was in the drawer was ruined, the WiFi was very spotty and it was difficult to watch TV because it kept freezing, the kitchen faucet was about fall off and the light over the stove didn't work and we were very disappointed when we tried to play pool because there was a rip in the middle of the table and the slate was broken under the lining and you couldn't play! Also the bunk is not a full on the bottom it is a twins!

The view is fantastic. The pool table in the basement is in need of repair.

You cannot beat the view. The only downside was there was only 1 TV for 3 bedrooms. The one downstairs wasn't hooked to anything. We loved having a Smart TV in the living room. It was all well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Loved the area. Management Response: Thank you for your feedback! We will speak with maintenance in regard to the downstairs TV so that we can resolve this issue. We hope to host you again!

House is outdated, has a bad smell, the carpets are dirty and the pool table was destroyed to the point that it was impossible to play a game on it. Very disappointed that I paid as much as I did for this stay. Would never have booked if photos and description were accurate!

The view was wonderful! The cabin was equipped with plenty of cookware, dishes and glassware which we appreciate since we eat most meals in. The only complaint I would have is the carpet is in need of a good cleaning as is the upholstery on the sofas in the living room.

We loved our stay here. This adorable cabin has curb appeal—and then you walk down the wrap-around porch, and the view is even better than the photos! We loved spending time sitting out there. We were surprised by a porch swing and a Hobbit House, lol, too. The inside was nice and neat, also. It is nicely and comfortably furnished and decorated. There were many dead millipedes in the basement, but we called, and they were taken care of immediately. Having lived on acreage ourselves, we know this sometimes happens, particularly after treating (which was the case here), so it was ok. Some more appeared the next morning, but we just vacuumed them up instead of calling. No big deal. Besides, the basement is a great, spacious area with a pool table. This was our first ever experience with VRBO and we were very pleased. The cabin is very nice and just as described and pictured on the website. We had a small problem with bees (which turned out to be the non-stinging kind) around the entrance when we checked in, but we were able to use an alternate entrance, and when we called to report the issue, the issue was quickly taken care of. Everything worked great, and we very much enjoyed our stay. Note that the road up to the cabin is truly one-lane, so be prepared to back up or pull into the brush if you encounter a car going the opposite way (this happened only once in our 2-day stay). This was a small price to pay for the seclusion and excellent view, including the night sky and fireflies that I hadn't seen in years.
