The house was perfect for our ski trip, plenty of space and amazing views, we really enjoyed our time in steamboat! Russell was very responsive and made our stay easy, the driveway is no joke tho, make sure you have a vehicle capable of getting up and down steep icy slopes! We would absolutely stay here again.

My group of friends stayed here for our annual ski trip, and this was the best property we’ve stayed at so far. The location was a short drive from the ski resort and downtown, the house was clean and spacious, and it was stocked with everything we could’ve needed which we really appreciated. Check in and check out process was easy as well. Would definitely stay again!

Greatly appreciate Russell’s flexibility during our recent stay. We were in Steamboat over MLK weekend when a storm dumped a phenomenal 4 ft of snow over 4 days, resulting in road closures and no way out of town, extending our stay. The skiers were very happy with all the powder; and our whole family was happy with the house which accommodated our group of 7 adults and 2 infants so comfortably! Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, large dining table for meals, plenty of firewood for the
Fireplace, driveway well plowed ( and steep so take the warnings seriously!). Hope to return!

My first VRBO rental. Russell set the standard for all future rentals. Shared updated info prior to our arrival. Very prompt, cordial and receptive responses to my email questions in the VRBO app. Perfect house for me, my daughter, her spouse and their small dog, and my youngest daughter, her spouse and three kids under 8. Abundant towels, linens, dishware and consumables like bottled water and coffee pods and condiments. Nice internal room temperature control options for a large mountain property. A very pleasant lodging experience!

Our group of 3 families with young teens really enjoyed this home!! It was extremely clean, and the layout was great for sleeping lots of people comfortably. The kitchen was very well supplied. The view can’t be beat, especially while relaxing in the hottub! The location is convenient to the mountain as well. We just loved our stay and will definitely consider coming back!

This is about a 5 minute drive to the ski base. Beautiful views. House is a bit dated but well maintained and clean and well-stocked. Convenient check in and out and amenities. Take the driveway comments seriously-barely got our front wheel drive out. But worth it!

We were up for a short adults only weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday. The location was great. Very clean and well maintained. We spent most of the time on the deck and in the hot tub. Fantastic visit.

Very comfortable stay for all 6 adults and 2 dogs! Very nice to have bathrooms in each of the bedrooms and easy access for the dogs to go outside. Very close to everything we did in town. The house was well stocked and had an abundance of hot water for all 6 of us to shower at night. We only had one minor issue with a blown fuse but was able to get it fixed right away. Would highly recommend for a larger family or group! Would love to stay again sometime!

Great operations base for a Summer visit to Steamboat! Less than 10 minutes to downtown and the Yampa River, yet feels very private. The home has a great layout for a family and awesome views of the mountains and sunrise. The owners provide a ton of additions in terms of grills, coffee, waters, and cooking spices. The house has one of the easiest check out procedures we have encountered. The owners are very laid back and had very simple requests of the guests. We would rent the house for a year if we could! Perfect spot to explore the Steamboat attractions from.

Steamboat is a special place and wonderful for a vacation. Russel was a terrific host. He replied immediately to our questions. The home was clean and comfortable and the views were outstanding. Check in and checkout very easy and would definitely recommend Duby Haus!

This property is spacious and beautiful. There was plenty of room for our family and friends. The house was well stocked with spices, soft drinks, etc.
As stated in the listing, the driveway is steep. When snowing, driving down it in the winter is a challenge.

Family Christmas in Steamboat
The house was perfect for entire family. We had plenty of space for everyone including 6 children ages 1-14. The views of the mountain was awesome. The driveway is challenging, and requires a 4x4 to get in and out especially when it snows.

My family is originally from the Steamboat area. We were coming back to the area for a family reunion and looking for the place to stay which could accommodate all ages (18 to 88 years)! This property is truly perfect in every way. Extremely clean and comfortable, the host has thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need to make a perfect stay. All of the latest technology, extremely. comfortable and AMAZING views. Truly 5* in every way...!!
