We had a lovely time in the hostal. The owners were very lovely. We had great food and enjoyed the free coffee, water and banana cakes. We also ask for lunch box for the next day and it was very tasty. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable.

We loved our stay at Dona Clarita. The accommodation was super clean, comfortable and had everything we could possibly want. But the best thing about our stay was the care and enthusiasm from the family who own the hostal. From the moment we arrived we felt part of the family and felt really well cared for.

Staff were incredibly friendly. Food was great, loved the family style where everyone ate together. Unlimited banana bread was obviously a highlight. We stayed in a double bed with en-suite and it was excellent. I would recommend!

Breakfast was amazing, the staff were all absolutely wonderful, and our room was incredibly cosy. This small and newer hostel is perfect for a stay during the Quilotoa trek. We were rested, well-fed, and ready to tackle the next days hike!

One of the best Hostels on my Ecuador trip! The owners are very friendly and the food was amazing. The rooms were comfy with mountain hut vibes! Would definitely recommend to stay here, if you have time even multiple days just to relax or explore the area.

The family were so warm friendly and welcoming. They were funny, lovely to talk to and extremely hospitable! Lovely clean chalet style rooms with balcony and view of the mountains. Amazing value, tasty food, free tea coffee water and banana bread.

Everything was more than perfect! Very friendly and welcoming family who recently opened this hostel. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfortable. The food and lunch box are very delicious. It was fantastic! We stayed there with 8 other hikers, had dinner and breakfast together. Nice location with view, friendly owner-family, nice room, clean, hot water shower, tasty vegetarian food. Coffee, tea, water and banana bread are all day free. They also prepare packed lunch of needed. I would definitely come again!

Very nice host family (with a very cute little child), very comfi bed, great shower, tasty food. I forgot my phone charger there and by the afternoon it was waiting for me at the reception of my hostel in Quilotoa with my name on it - they are very happy to help!

More like something to note - no meat option (only vegetarian). That's pro for some and con for others. Anyway, the food was delicious and genarous.

When we arrived they kindly let us have a room with a private bathroom for the same price as a room with shared bathroom. The whole family is very sweet, the smiles will make you feel at home. The dinner was delicious, we even got a little desert. The breakfast was really filling, many different things to eat, we didn't even finish what was served. The hostel is very peaceful, I would highly recommend!

the room was clean and the bed had lots of bedding, and the bathroom was so cute! the restaurant/relaxing area was charming too. Doña Clarita and her family are so welcoming and hospitable, it was lovely to get to know the family while I ate dinner and breakfast. but if you’re looking for solitude, they give you space! tea, coffee, and water as well as gratis breakfast and dinner.

Seriously juste woaw! We arrived with a group of three people and we stayed in a very confortable room. There is a shower with hot water, the place is really quiet and you really feel like at home. The personal was really friendly with us, we got high quality breakfast and dinner during the two days we stayed there. Doña Clarita and her family are really great people and they will make everything for your stay to be a great experience. Highly recommend this place, ideal for young backpakkers looking for a nice place with the best quality-price report. Probably the best experience with booking in Ecuador until now.
