Good place to stay with large group.

Our group takes a ski trip every year, and I can say this is by far the best house we've ever rented! Everything was accurately described and the hosts were great and responsive. The kitchen was very well equipped which is always a plus. The views are beautiful and calming. It was truly a perfect place to come back and relax in the hot tub or play a game of pool after long ski days. Highly recommend!

The place is spacious and clean.. with lots of amenities. Big game room where a lot of fun can be have. The only downside of this place is there’s no trash service… we have to take our trash 10 miles down the road.

The house was all we expected and more. Great playroom. Large and very well equipped. Large kitchen and dining room that fit 11 people comfortably. Had 4 teenagers and 3 kids that had a great time in the playroom considering we had 2 rainy days. The owners responded quickly and were really nice.

Cabin was a great place for two families. Very spacious and wonderfully decorated and cozy! Would definitely recommend for a large family or multiple family vacation.

This year, we decided on this lovely cabin to celebrate Christmas with family and also attend Christmas at Tweetsie. We loved our stay in this spacious mountain home. The cabin included lots of entertainment, and even had some toys for the smaller kids. The kitchen was also well stocked. A great amenity was the hot tub that offered a serene view of the mountains and a great relaxation spot. If you’re looking for a cozy place away from the hustle of town, this is the place for you!

We had a dozen of our Family infor the 3 day weekend and it was wonderfull. This house is very well suited for large groups. The downstairs game room was a hit for all of our family. Brooke our property host was on top of everything and easy to reach. While I gave a 5 star rating, I would make one small suggestion, outdoor storage for trash would be a huge plus. I would highly recommend this property to anyone hosting a large group.

We had a nice stay with our friends and my parents. The best part of this property is the playroom as well as the backyard. They had very sweet arrival details, like a bottle of wine, hot chocolate, and makeup removal pads. However they didn't provide body wash/soap and it would have been nice to know. Beds were super comfortable and linens super cozy. The AC worked wonderfully, had well working TVs. It also had a retro digital Nintendo console that was very fun to play. In general the kitchen needs some maintenance. The floor and fridge were patched with tape, the oven took very long to heat, and the dishwasher drawer was broken. Utensils were a bit disorganized and some parts didn't match (like blender lid). Also, we were not told that we had a 2 trash bag limit per stay and anything above that will incur in an additional cost (we found out at our arrival). We could discard the trash at a convenience center but unfortunately it was closed Sunday and Labor Day Monday. Host kindly agreed to take care of this considering the situation. Last, just wished there was more parking space, although we managed to park 3 cars. But overall it was a good stay.

Phenomenal cabin that suited our six family members (ages 36-74) extremely well. Hosts Brooke and Red have furnished their vacation home in tasteful mountain decor. Having stayed in many timeshares and VRBO’s over 40 years this kitchen was stocked in extraordinarily fashion. There was more than enough cookware, dishes, utensils, cups, etc. to accommodate a full house. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a very thoughtful welcome basket in the kitchen upon arrival! Additionally, the hosts also provided items for younger visitors (toys, books, pack n play). Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table downstairs in the game room. The weather also allowed us to utilize the hot tub and fire pit. Consider this mountain cabin for your vacation with family or friends. This was a beautiful place to stay!

This house was perfect for our family get-together. We came to NC from three different states to spend a few days together. Six adults, four teenagers, two kids - the three floors were perfect for spreading out with different activities. Brooke was very responsive to our inquiries. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely visit again. The parking/road where the home is situated would be the only thing I would take note of; we had 2 vehicles but anything more than that could be an issue with parking.

It was perfect for us! Purpose for our stay was to spend the day with our 7 year old granddaughter at tweetsie railroad. When our family found out we were going they all wanted to come join us in the fun. The location of this house was great for us. Easy to find places to eat in banner elk and also blowing rock. Loved the game room downstairs also.

The house was amazing! Roku TVs in every room made streaming easy. Huge kitchen and family table used for meals and card games. Incredible game room with a nice pool table (strait cues), ping pong table and mini air hockey along with a sitting area and toys for the kids. The decks were amazing, it was quiet and off the road which made a safe and fun environment. The owners were easy to get a hold of and very helpful.

Nice cozy home for us to enjoy one night before my daughters graduation.

This property was as described and had all we needed for a great mountain weekend. Convenient for some exploration, but remote enough to be a getaway! Great design and had everything needed.

We had a lovely stay. We were there to ski Sugar and Beech and the house was right in the middle location wise to get to both. The house was perfect for our group- adults and kids. Kids loved the space downstairs while the adults enjoyed the quiet upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for big family dinners. Very family friendly. Would definitely look at returning! Thanks!!

We had to cut our trip short because of a winter storm, but this mountain home was absolutely perfect for our two families. The kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table and all the extra space to stretch out and play or relax. Definitely worth every penny!

While we spent most of our stay out on the slopes, the adults were able to efficiently cook meals and prep for the day while the kiddos all played in the rec area downstairs! This was a PERFECT set up for our crew. We were nervous we wouldn’t have enough parking but were able to fit 2 large and 2 standard size vehicles perfectly. Communication was wonderful and we had a blast!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Brooke's house. Two families, consisting of three 14 year olds, and two 11 year olds, this house offered ample room for us to spread out and not be on top of each other. The basement game room was perfect- we had so many random pick up ping pong and pool games. The kids were all enthralled with the old school Nintendo NES. Plenty of room for us all to sit down and have meals together, great firepit for smores, huge property to explore- this house really has it all! It's location was ideal for us- situated just between downtown Banner Elk, and the Mast General Store (no trip to Banner Elk is complete without a stop at the Candy Barrel). We were equal distance from Grandfather Mountain and Boone. Five Stars! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at this home! It's clean and stylish, with plenty of room for folks to spread out. Brooke is a gracious host and communicated well and often. The location is great, it feels secluded but is an easy drive into Boone and Banner Elk. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

This place had plenty of space for our large group for a wellness retreat. The house is in a very quiet spot and has tons of outdoor space. There were a few things that could be improved or updated about the listing and communication , but overall it was a good stay for us!

It’s was our second time in this house and we will definitely go back for a third!
