Very clean and beautiful views

I had such a wonderful time at this place, such a relaxing and peaceful stay. The beach across from the property Moonee beach is lovely, so nice and quiet. The place itself is a two story apartment, very privately separated from the owners house. I ended up having a solo stay and I felt so safe staying at this property by myself. At the top of the stairs the main door grants you access to a secure foyer/lobby area and then inside the foyer there is secure access to the apartment and the owners have their own secure access to their place. Robert and Stella are wonderful hosts, everything I could have needed was available at the property. Such a clean, modern place, kitchen is beautiful and the heated floors are amazing for cold winter nights. Excellent smart tv in a decent size with access to all streaming services and channels you could want. I stayed in June 2022 mid week and construction noise was not a problem at all, I didn’t notice any noise as most of the estate is now built. The estate is lovely, such friendly people live here, each morning I would walk the beach and locals would say hello as they were doing their morning walk/exercise. This place I believe would suit anyone solo traveller/couple/family. I would love to stay again. Thank you for having me! :)

A really great property in a wonderful location. It was really clean and well maintained and there were some nice touches such as a bottle of water next to the bed.

So welcoming and accommodation is just beautiful. It has a shared entry to the owners, however completely separate living quarters, almost like living in a 2 storey town house. All the mod cons (and literally mean modern). The highlight are the beds.... probably the most comfortable bed (and not to mention pillows) I have ever had other than the ones I have at home... it was hard to leave, only the beach, which is literally across the road and down a 2 min path, was calling us. We have a little 2.5 year old, and there is a small water way that runs into the ocean just at the end of the path, and could have literally stayed all day if it hadn't had been for sunset. The beach itself is nice and quiet, not patrolled though, so swim at your own risk, a few little rips there.

We spent a few days here and the location is perfect as a base to explore the area or to simply relax and enjoy the beach. The path down to the beach is basically at your doorstep. The accommodation was quiet, spotless and everything was quality. Our hosts Robert and Stella greeted us warmly but then allowed us our privacy.

We had a perfect stay for our needs as a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. Lovely, clean and modern...it had everything we needed. Special care and attention from the lovely owners made us feel very welcome. The most gorgeous beach access down the back path. We would definitely stay again, thank you.

Myself and my partner enjoyed our stay, the apartment has plenty of space and the views are amazing, in terms of activities around the area there is not much to do but if you are looking for a relaxing getaway then I highly recommend! The hosts are also very polite but also respect your privacy.

Property as decribed; new, clean and spotless. All the essentials mentioned were provided including beach towels (this was definitely a bonus). The place is located right at the entrance leading down to the beach. View on the balcony is amazing! Host Robert & Stella are wonderful, helpful and welcoming. We were offered an extension for check out too. This was unexpected and so happy & grateful for it. We would definitely keep coming back! Thank you for having us!

The apartment was very clean, spacious, modern and had beautiful water views from the balcony of Moonee Beach which is located opposite the property. The hosts are very nice and accommodating. The coffee pods were a bonus and I loved having my morning coffee on the balcony watching the waves crashing. The location is beautiful. However your closest grocery shops are approximately 15 minutes away so we stocked up on staples before we arrived. We loved our little break so much we stayed for one more day to enjoy it.

What a gem ... a beautifully appointed modern home with warm welcoming hosts. A great place to kick back and watch the ocean on the beach from the balcony or practically jump off the balcony onto the beach ... all too easy. It was the break that we needed.

Myself & three friends had a wonderful stay at this property. It was beautifully presented & styled, and had everything we needed for a relaxing girls weekend. The spectacular view is the highlight of this unit! Stella & Robert are friendly and kind hosts, and thoughtfully provide beach towels & a beach shelter which is very convenient. They didn't even get upset when we accidentally took home a towel that didn't belong to us (oops)! As the only thing within walking distance is the beach, we recommend stocking up with groceries & wine so you don't need to drive anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at catherine hill bay. The property was beautiful and the owners were very friendly and well organised. The beach was so close which made it an easy walk with the kids.

Our family of 4 had a very relaxing time at Robert and Stella’s property. It was very well appointed and located across the road from a bush track leading to one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches ever!

The owners were super lovely and the apartment was perfect. The view from the balcony was beautiful and we loved hearing the waves from morning to night. The beach is only a couple of mins away by foot ( tough on the legs coming back but definitely worth it!! ). It was the perfect little getaway. Thank you Robert!

We stayed a week here and enjoyed the view from upstairs and and the deck - and the gentle sound of the surf . The apartment is comfortable and well equipped. And Robert and Stella engaged and helpful hosts. Thank you both for the walking advice and guides. As there are no shops close by the nearest about 15 minutes, I would recommend that you bring plenty of staples with you.

Robert and Stella were really friendly and the house is decked out with everything you need. Really enjoyable stay - basically with your own private beach!

Robert was great to communicate with; greeting us on arrival and giving us a walk through of the apartment. He even helped with local restaurant suggestions. Speaking of local restaurants... There aren't any. You'll have to drive about 20min to find some places to eat. A small price to pay for the great views and beautiful apartment!
