Property was Good but expensive!

1) Approach road is too narrow and steep for a longer distance. 2) Property is expensive in consideration to home stay 3) Caretaker was not attentive

The view from the property was fabulous. Which makes the fact that it was filthy and a bunch of lies even worse. What a waste

Let's start by calling a spade a spade.. There is an Indian Company by the name of Vista Rooms which claims that it has hundreds of properties under its "management" but after this experience what I have realised is that nothing could be further from the truth. Vista Rooms is nothing more than a marketeer/advertiser which ties up with independent houses, takes professional photographs of the property, gets fancy write-ups printed but leaves the entire "management" , "crisis solving" to the property owners itself. You would ask that why would this irk me so much, so let me elaborate: (I) I had chosen an alternative property of Vista Rooms and then someone from their customer call me and said that even though the description said that the property would be solely yours, the owner will stay there. So I said nothing doing and hence they asked me to book this property in question; (II) So when I reached this property to my shock and dismay there were cockroaches, insects and mites in the cupboards, on the bed and in the rooms. When I asked Vista Rooms about the same, they conveniently forgot that they are supposed to "manage" the property and had the owner of property call me and apologize. Talk about sucking up and taking ownership; (III) If being filthy was not enough, the property has made various misrepresentations on its description. There is no barbeque facility, there is no outdoor fire facility and no ironing facility. Further their claims for having a back up to electricity was a lie. All they had was a beat up invertor which broke down and couldn't be tended too or repaired during our stay; (IV) Now if you feel the above wasn't bad enough imagine the fact that I have a 18 month old child who has to put up at a villa which was filthy, infested with insects and deal with no electricity or back up, hence freeze in the cold because Vista Rooms couldn't care less.
