My wife and I spent three sunny days at the property. The lake is beautiful, especially at sunrise and at night for watching stars. Frank the host gave us a great list of local attractions and activities.

From booking to checkout Frank was very attentive to any questions or concerns that we had. Myself and 3 friends enjoyed a fabulous 3 days to celebrate a birthday and a much needed getaway. The cottage is clean and comfortable and stocked with everything we needed to cook and eat. Including a bbq. The deck is a nice size and has a power awning if you want a retreat from the sun. The waterfront location is beautiful ! You can watch the beautiful sunrise/ sunsets and listen to the loons calling. It was so peaceful. There is also a nice fire pit The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. Thank you Frank for allowing us to rent and we can’t wait to come back ! 5 ⭐️

Frank was friendly and very accommodating making sure all our needs were met. Location was easy to access and quiet. For hikers many trails are nearby with beautiful scenery. It was nice to have fishing right out the back door. My wife caught a beautiful small mouth bass. There pike and perch as well from the shore. We were just a bit early for fall colours, leaves were just starting to change but still pretty. We feel we got more than our money’s worth and recommend a stay here.

My wife and I returned for a second visit this past week. We enjoyed the location and the peaceful surroundings. The online pictures tell the story of what the cottage offers. All the amenities needed were provided. We are happy once again with the choice and will plan to return again. Thanks for the hospitality Frank.

I rented this cottage with my children and grandchildren. The cottage had lots of room, the deck was wonderful, and watching the sunrise from the dock was great. The kitchen is very small and has no dishwasher, which is a drawback. But all in all I would recommend renting this cottage. The location is fantastic being just an hour from Ottawa. Frank was a pleasant host and very quick to respond to our questions.

This is a beautiful area, but as someone from the country, it was very crowded. When I go to the cottage I go to get away and just take a breath, there were so many cottages around I felt like I was in the suburbs. The owner did require a seperate deposit upon when we got there, and was on site the full time. Were on the younger side, and so I think he was worried we would be roudy, which is understandable however it was a strange way to start a visit, he did later apologize for coming on so strong. With that being said he's very nice, and the whole experience was pleasant but not the solitude my soul was searching for as an introvert. With that being said, the cottage was beautiful and we had a ton of fun, there are lots of amenities in the area. This is a beautiful get away and if your more social then I am, I believe you would have a great time. If your a family or an older group I think you would really like this cottage.

Beautiful property on the water, patio, firepit and spacious housing, 2 bathroom and enclosed sunroom.

We had a very nice weekend getaway in Calabogie. The owner was very quick to respond. The lake view is beautiful and we had a wonderful time outside at the fire pit.

My wife and I had a relaxing weekend. We may go again next fall

This cottage was a great place to stay especially if you have a big group. It had everything we needed and the views were beautiful. The owner is right next door and available for anything you need. Lots of outdoor activities in a beautiful location!

We enjoyed a wonderful week at the cottage. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. The cottage suited us perfectly, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, great TV, comfy lounge chairs, firewood for bonfires, even an apple tree full of apples to pick. We will be back!

Our group stayed for 2 nights at this place. The cottage is really clean, the kitchen is fully equipped. The view is absolutely beautiful! The owner (Frank) is super nice and friendly. The place is very suitable for a family of 5+ as it has multiple beds.

Beautiful waterfront property with dock for our boat. Kid friendly lot with gradual slope to the water. Lovely fire pit with chairs and firewood supplied. Cottage with all the amenities large enough for our extended family. Lots of parking for boat trailer. Very accessible and helpful owner right next door. Will be returning next year!

Frank was very attentive and helpful. He was a great host! Our family had a lot of fun fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and paddle boating. Would definitely do it again. Nice quiet lake for relaxation. Stunning star gazing.. moon rising.. and sun rises across the lake. Great location for family with children.
