The most fabulous thing was our view from the balcony. It was spectacular! The room was clean and the staff was very kind and helpful. Fair price for what you get.
The rooms were clean, but the situation with towels was very disappointing. Probably because of the temperature and lack of ventilation the towels were never drying completely so it was disgusting to use them more than 1 day. I was trying to change the towels every day but some days there was no towels to change to, which was about half of our stay and it was very uncomfortable. There is no fridge in the room, but a common fridge at the reception for all the guests. We knew it when booking so it's not something we can complain about, but maybe something the hotel can improve. I think there is a place at least in our room for a small fridge.

La amabilidad de María, te sentías como en familia. Todo muy limpio y en medio de la zona principal. Las vistas estupendas.
Es una dificultad el tema de movilidad, son largas escaleras sin ascensor.

Couldn’t be more closer to the beach, amazing location. Friendly staff.
Got to book only the normal twin room as we were staying only for one night. Which is kind of small and with no views. The sea view rooms are only bookable for minimum 2 nights. But wasn’t much of an inconvenience as we were close to beach and spent most of the time outside.

Beautiful sunrise view from the balcony. Very comfy room with all the basics you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. Totally recommend!!

everything was perfect. amazing location, could have asked for a better view. everywhere was clean, and was cleaned daily by housekeeping. the staff were extremely friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. the room had everything that you would need, we will definitely be returning!

Location is perfect. Room was great with a balcony overlooking the beach. Very clean. Staff were kind and helpful. Almost everything was just perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Maria was very helpful. Room was clean and location was fantastic.
The property does not have a lift so the rooms are only accessible by stairs. However if you have no mobility issues, I highly recommend a stay at the Hostal De Mar.

Fabulous location, lovely helpful staff and stunning views.
Theres a communal fridge and coffee/tea making facilities which is good, and your room is cleaned each day. The room had a hair dryer, and plenty of wardrobe space.
The balcony is small but perfect in the evenings to watch the world go by.
The air conditioning is excellent and the patio doors are 100% sound proof.
We wanted a twin room for our teenage sons, but they could only give us a double.

We booked this hotel last minute and weren't sure what to expect. However its outstanding, directly across from the beach, clean and tidy with friendly staff. They let you borrow umbrellas for the beach for free and the balcony is a lovely spot to relax and take in the view.
If anything the rooms were a bit small but fine if you're just there to sleep.

The location is SUPER close to the beach. And the staff will go beyond their means to help and make the stay in this hostel worth every penny. Very helpful! I will recommend to my friends 11/10.

Friendly, helpful staff, incredible location across the street from the beach, breakfast delivered to the room. My parents booked a room with a sea view, and I booked the room next door. I particularly appreciated the attentiveness of staff to my parents' needs; they are in their 70s and 80s, and were comforted by the support and attention they received. We loved gathering on my parents' balcony to have breakfast together, and occasionally dinner when we opted for a cheap meal in.
The lack of parking and an elevator was a bit tough for my parents as they had to keep their car in a remote public lot near the bus station, but it's to be expected in a little town like Tossa. My parents also struggled at times to climb three floors up and down every time they went out, but the staff were so kind and insisted on carrying down their (heavy!) bags when I wasn't available to do it on the day they checked out.

perfect location with big terrace overlooking the beach. room is clean and bathroom is spacious. beyond expectations on a two star. staff is super friendly explaining the activities we can do. also delivers breakfast to your room in the morning.

It’s a fabulous hotel with the view of a castle slightly to your right with nightly lit views and the view of the sea and the morning sunrises are breathtaking! And the staff especially Maria made it a complete joy!
