ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOME away from Home! Extremely Peaceful

The house was a perfect design for 4 adult couples with each bedroom having privacy and its own bathroom. There was plenty of common space for group activities. The kitchen was well stocked and very large accommodating multiple cooks in the kitchen. The view was beautiful and lots of outdoor space for enjoying the view. Now, for the not so good. There is an outdoor fire pit that we enjoyed each evening. The pathway to get to the fire pit area was not well constructed, probably did not meet building code, and was treacherous. You step off the lower porch area onto a natural rock walkway that is 18-24 inches off the ground on a wall with uneven and poorly laid rocks making it difficult to walk safely. There is no handrail and the ground drops off quickly and steeply from the bottom of this short wall. There is no path lighting and the lighting on the eaves of the house are to your back as you walk from the porch to the fire pit area, putting your steps in your own shadow. There is also a steep set of natural steps from the driveway to this same walkway that has un-level and narrow steps making it also very treacherous. It does at least have a handrail. There is no path lighting for the stairs and they are shadowed at night. On our last night, one member of our party who is 75+ years old, stepped on one of the gaps in the rock pathway, fell headfirst from the wall, and rolled about 15 ft. downhill. It is unknown if any corrective action as been taken as requested.

Much needed weekend away for a group of coworkers who work in primary education. Beautiful views, excellent cabin had everything we needed. Will be visiting again!

Our second stay in this wonderful mountain cabin. We needed a 4 BR 4 BA property and they are hard to come by. Combine that with a fantastic, close-to-everything location, huge family spaces on both floors, and a great kitchen with extra oven, and you have the perfect spot for our family. We’ll be back!

Beautiful location and scenic views( some trees need to be trimmed). The bedrooms were large and well presented. The living area seemed a bit smaller than the pictures, but it all worked out. For a house as beautifully presented as this, they need to replace or repair the theater chairs downstairs and keep there inventory of glasses up to date. They had 2 wine glasses, I actually bought 4 more and left them there for the next guest,

Each year we take a family vacation to a rental property. We had 7 adults 2 children and one infant. There was more that enough room for all of us. The 4 bedrooms were very large with a full bath for, and porch each. The game room was very nice and came in handy with the rain we had for a day. One of the big surprises that came in handy were the two kitchens including two range/ovens. The main kitchen could have doubled as a dance floor. Yes it was that big. A very comfortable property that we all loved. The check in time could have been a little sooner than 4pm though.

This was our second time staying at this amazing property. It’s cleaner than any other cabin we’ve rented (we go to blue ridge every year for a family vacation) and it’s a whopping 3 min from downtown Blue Ridge. The check-in/check-out is seamless and the management company has always taken care of anything we’ve needed as minor issues pop up. Eden and Emma made sure the cabin was beautiful and welcoming upon our arrival and left little notes and treats for us. Little things matter! We can’t wait to come back again next year.

As always we made memories as a family, relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful view.

Loved the location of this cabin- literally a five minute drive from downtown Blue Ridge- but a secluded view (best of both worlds). A couple of things to note- the cabin does not have a fireplace on the main floor (gas fireplace only and only on the lower floor). The electronics, kitchen gear (pots, pans, cooking utensils) and couches upstairs and downstairs could all use a serious upgrade. For the price we paid for the cabin per night- we would expect better and newer interior components. Still- that aside- the location and view on this one are hard to beat.

Actually I should have read the description better. No Tv in the main living area but there was nothing in the listing that said it had one. There was not enough comfortable seating for 8 adults in one area. Coffee maker didn’t work on arrival but one was delivered by a nice young man the next day. The fancy stone sinks were hard to use due to the height and positioning. Bedding was sub par for a nice cabin. All in all a nice cabin but not what we are accustomed to renting in Blue Ridge. A gas grill would have been nice but again, it was not listed so that one’s on me too. The toaster didn’t work but we made do with making toast in the oven.

Wonderful place to spend the week!

Beautiful property with exceptional location. All the great reviews are correct. Close to downtown Blue Ridge but a million miles away from stress. We’ll be back.

The best of both worlds! Close to historic downtown but up on top of the mountain. The house seems like it is floating in the treetops!

The cabin’s location and views were wonderful. It had many extras necessary to accommodate larger groups. Double ovens and double dishwashers were very helpful. We enjoyed gathering for meal prep and meals, games and around the fire pit. Made several trips into downtown Blue Ridge. Will be back!

The views each morning and evening from the house were absolutely beautiful. With 4 king beds, it was perfect for our couples' weekend away. We were about a 5 minutes (or less) drive from downtown Blue Ridge & had easy access to grocery stores and other amenities.

Chester’s Bar and Grill had excellent food and friendly service went back 3 times during our week In Blue Ridge, our tour of Blue Ridge lake with Captain Joe and his wife Sue was excellent and the train ride was very enjoyable.

The accents were perfect, deer-antler chandeliers that were beautiful, wood décor tables, chairs, lamps, etc. We felt like were were in a log cabin in the woods. The hot tub was so soothing and relaxing! The pool table led to hours of family fun. We were close enough to town, only 3 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge, to eat and shop our hearts out. We found 2 short hikes nearby that were perfect for our family. Thank you for this wonderful experience for our family. 5 out of 5 starts, easily!

Great house! Great layout with spacious bedrooms. Mountain top view without having to drive all the way up to the top of a mountain. Less than 5 min from downtown. Only constructive feedback is there were a lot of dead flies and wasps on the floor, and a lot of active bugs inside screened in porch. Would have been nice to not have to see all the dead flies on the floors. Other than that, great property and we would stay there again.
