We had a wonderful time spending our family Thanksgiving here .

The house was great, some updates needed but it was clean and spacious. The only thing I would suggest, the outside decor from the old faded fake plants need to be replaced and the outside furniture was dirty. decks etc were dirty and had to be wiped down. The swimming deck was awesome, and the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend getaway.

It's a wonderful house that presents beautifully on the inside. Easy access to swimming. Very cool AC. If there is anything I would improve is a new TV for the living room. We would definitely stay there again.

We were able to rent the Crain home on Tanglewood for a week. We have 3 boys 14, 18, 22 & my father in law along with my wife and I. The location on lake Hamilton was not far from the places you can drive your boat to for dinner or gas however far enough off the main channel to swim and fish without being rocked to death by waves. The cove we were in is beautiful and quiet. There home is very large but cozy and allowed everyone to have some space without being packed on top of each other. The floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors gave you a spectacular view of the lake from a comfy chair. The wraparound back deck was inviting and had lots of shade and allowed us to sit and cook outside comfortably. On one side of the deck hangs over a small part of the lake so you could even fish from right outside the house if you wanted to. During the prime season it is a little expensive however for what you get I can certainly understand the price. The wifi is not the best but it was adequate for us. We were not able to really watch TV due to a box issue and the color of the picture & sound was off and were told it was due to the box. I have no doubt they will have those problems taken care of. They suggested we swap with the other tv but I didn’t want to make a problem for our boys because I would of had to take the one they were using. Also there is no tv in the master bedroom but to be honest we didn’t miss it. You are completely fenced in with a electric gate and feel safe.

We had an amazing time and LOVED the house! The owners are very quick to respond with any questions, the house and yard are huge and so clean!! We loved it and hope to return soon!!

The house is sitting in a cute and quiet cove. The view from the kitchen/ living room is nothing short of perfect. You are literally a few steps away from sunbathing on your own private swim dock. Is the interior layout of the house a little odd? yes.. but we loved it anyways! Having all the sliding pocket doors to block off everyone from each others room and living space was awesome! We were traveling with our adult chidren(old enough to be adults but not married off yet) and our elderly Maltipoo dog & the space fit our needs as is. The location on the lake was perfect. A quick boat ride to restraunts and it felt centrally located to the lake so it was easy to explore all the lake has to offer and find our way back with no problem. I 10 out of 10 recommend renting this lovely lake house. Catherine was so easy to contact and talk to. She even answered all my questions almost immediately after sending a message to her! Top notch service!

We had a fun stay in Hot Springs, but the third night there was a terrible storm. Thank goodness the house had a generator and that saved the day. It could have been a long miserable night, but instead we were able to stay cool in the AC and watch a movie. My favorite part of this house, except the generator, is the swimming deck where we spent a lot of time drinking wine and watching the geese float by.

Great property on the water! Loved the dock, fenced in yard, and the house is huge! Great location, not very far from downtown Hot Springs! Everyone had a great time! Looking forward to our next trip.

This is our second time staying here. We have been spoiled by the great outdoor space here. The deck, swim deck make it a great place to relax and spend the day. Even during the rain with amount of windows keeps you engaged with the outdoors. Having a kayak available is a plus. House clean, comfy beds and fully stocked kitchen. Property manager keeps you updated throughout your visit. She cares that you have everything you need.

We stayed for 5 nights and loved it. The house is very quiet and has a pretty view of the lake. I am imagine it’s super fun in the summer. The floor plan is awkward like the other reviews have but that’s a part of the charm we all loved it!

The location was great and really enjoyed the kitchen and living room with the view!

We loved our stay. The property was very clean and owner very responsive. The house was great -we loved the family room and kitchen area where we spent majority of the time. Family room has a great view of the lake. Also, we loved the wrap around deck and the nice backyard overlooking the lake. Thank you!!!

My husband and I stayed for a little mini get-away for our anniversary. The home was amazing, the location on the lake was perfect for the nice quiet mornings/evenings we were looking for, just sitting out enjoying the water and amazing views. Catherine was awesome and several great suggestions on places for dinner while we were there. We would definitely come back and look forward to bringing the extended family next time!

We had an amazing 4 days at this property! Catherine was a great host and the house was perfect. We value a beautiful environment, outdoor space, spacious areas inside the house, a great AC, comfy beds, a wonderful shower and a quiet neighborhood! All of these things exceeded our expectations. The house was super clean and the property was so beautiful! We loved the swimming dock, the wrap around deck, and the lighting at night was gorgeous. We enjoyed all of the spaces for our family to be together - around the fire pit, the table on the deck in the shade, the sunny dock with lounge chairs and a table to eat and play games on, and shade under the beautiful trees. The floor to ceiling windows in the house across the entire back of the house are unbelievable. I am missing that view today as I type this review! The house is close to town and the location can't be beat. I have already recommended this property to friends and family. We will be returning for more stays in the future. Thank you Catherine for sharing your beautiful home with us. We could not have had a better trip!!

Am not going to comment on how mediocre this house is neither on facts such as the one that there’s not even glassware in it, just plastic cups. The only thing i will comment here is how micromanagie this host is. So, please stay here ONLY if you are ok doing the following: A.) Taking a call/text from the host at 10 pm to be informed that you left the patio door open B.) being watched via her security cameras, nest door bells, etc. every time you are outside and informed via text if you did something that does not meet the host expectations, such as pulling the trash bin 3 feet away from where it was C.) being allowed to change the temperature inside the house by not more than 2 degrees because the host is monitoring that 24/7 and changes it back to 74 within an hour every time you date to adjust D.) Vacation for 5 days while only using one towel bought from Walmart E.) Be blamed for preexisting carpet stains and damaged cabinets F.) Being told that your dogs shed too much and that you have to pay $100 extra for that, despite of paying $250+ in pet and cleaning fees G.) being told you need to constantly vacuum and sweep despite the fact that there is no vacuum or a broom at your disposal H)If bringing your boat and planning on using the boat dock or even the swimdeck please be prepared to first clean like a ton of 5 year old spiderwebs and second get rust all over your boat because that dock has not been touched in like 25 years I.) Are also prepared to read and follow like a gazillion notes that are left for you trough-out the house for literally everything that you can or cannot do on daily bases, despite of the fact that your toilet paper is laying on the floor because the host is too cheap to install toilet paper holders J) be also prepared to use bathrooms with fully carpeted floors, that smell worse than a high school boy’s basketball’s team locker and don’t even have matts in front of the toilet bowls K) i can list many, many more but the bottom line is:Catherine is definitely not a fit for the hospitality business and unless you want to challenge your stupidity tolerance levels, please never give her any business because you’ll be definitely eFFed

Definitely was an unique layout that was cozy and welcoming to enjoy all the beautiful lakefront wonders. Nested in a very neighborhood watch community; safe and quiet nights with bright beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Many activities in the local area and restaurant’s to enjoy…

House bedroom layout is unique. Must walk thru the bedroom with queen bed and beautiful master bathroom to get to bedroom with king bed. So not very good for separete couples to share. Thanks goodness it was all family on this trip. No shower in bedroom with king bed, just a half bathroom must share shower in bedroom with queen bed. Deceiving in pictures for bedroom and bathroom layout. Beautiful wrap around deck, gorgeous setting. Enjoyed our stay.

This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed at this property. Catherine is an excellent host and communication skills are top notch. We will continue to stay here on Lake Hamilton every year... its the best experience and our favorite vacation spot!

This room has an enormous attached bathroom that all girls could be in getting ready at the same time. The property owner is easy to reach if needed and will answer any questions you have. I would recommend to anyone. We will be staying here again!!!
