Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich

The location was close to the beach yet cut off from the crowd and commotion. The room was well maintained and clean. The staff were very warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was homely and tasty. To summarise, it was a peaceful and pleasant stay at Tamarind Villa.

The listing needs correction as there is no sea view room, only garden or pool view. This has been highlighted to the staff who acknowledged the mistake. However, the listing has not been corrected yet which can be misleading for anyone who books in future. Also, the breakfast was provided very late and could have been a bit earlier or at least on time. Lastly, the pool lounge area requires better maintenance.

This hotel was an absolute disaster! The lack of attention to cleanliness was evident throughout the premises, falling below basic standards. Additionally, despite reserving a 'sea-facing' room, the view provided was disappointing, overlooking palm trees and nothing else (I mean, we were in Kerala, this is the view you get anywhere you look around). The bed sheets were filthy and made the whole room feel unclean. Bugs kept finding their way in, and the blankets had this weird, unpleasant smell that made it hard to relax. All in all, staying here left a tangible sense of filth on you. The staff seemed to have zero qualifications, clueless about even the simplest tasks. I'm usually quite understanding when it comes to a few things not being upto the mark, yet I am compelled to write this review.

Perfect place in Varkala. A bit away from the cliff but quiet and cozy. Nice beach is in 5-7 minutes by walk. We definitely liked it better then the cliff beach. Staff is friendly, homemade food is great (breakfast and lunch are possible). Pool was a great option for a child as well!

Didn’t have a restaurant.. as mentioned in booking.com, had to order food from Swiggy .. if it was not available me and my family would have suffered .. so didn’t really like the experience.. better state restaurant not available while booking pls don’t confuse clients

Nothing, no light, no AC, no drinking water, no water in bathroom. Didn't even offered to compensate. Owner lives in cochi. Just a caretaker.
