My family and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place in the mountains.

We were looking for a large property for a few days of post-wedding rest and relaxation for our extended family, and this house was a perfect match. What an incredible find! It is spotlessly clean, ingeniously designed, solidly built, beautifully situated, and equipped with more than enough to keep our 12 family members busy for 5 days, without even exploring nearby attractions. We had to trust that the view was great, because we had rain and mist all day, every day, until our day of departure! But when the sun finally broke through, it revealed countless layers of mountains receding into the distance. If the view had been visible every day, I might have had trouble doing anything besides gazing out the window! The beds are all king-size, and very comfortable. There is plenty of space, both indoors and out, to be together or alone. Many log cabins don't let in much natural light, but this house is designed just for that, and its orientation frames that magnificent vista perfectly. The paved driveway is quite steep. If space allows, you might want to park your vehicle(s) facing up the driveway so you're not making your departure in reverse uphill. Communication was easy and thorough. We were thrilled with our stay here

Fantastic place to get away for the weekend. This location offers many different areas of the house for people to gather and do different things.

The views from the extensive decks of this house are incredible. There’s so much to do inside and outside the house - sauna, hot tub, game room, theatre room, fire pit, grill, pizza oven, record player, hammock - the list goes on. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the primary suite bathroom has a wonderful tub and there is so much space for a large group to spread out. The house is also very clean and the property manager is responsive. I had to return to the house about 15 minutes after check-out because I discovered that I’d lost a valuable earring and the cleaning crew helped me find it. I’d love to stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at this property… the house had something for everyone, the kids were entertained in the game room and the adults enjoyed the movie theatre! We cooked many delicious meals in the fully stocked kitchen, and we enjoyed the views outside while relaxing by the fire. Julia was helpful and communicative. We enjoyed everything and we’ll be back!!

The check in was easy and the house was perfect for my family! The host Julia was awesome and so helpful and quick to respond! Game room was a big plus for my grandkids! We will definitely be back in the future ❤️❤️

The game room and house layout was perfect. The best rental we have had. We had amazing views and a great time at the house. We hope to come again!

It was my second time staying at this property and it is great! It's clean, well equipped, and full of options to keep adults and kids entertained! Can't wait to come back again!

We had a lovely stay in this house. The property is as pictured. The kids loved the game room which is a converted garage. We also enjoyed the two level porch with wonderful views! The kitchen was well stocked. There’s an outdoor pizza oven! The only reason for not proving a full 5 stars is the upstairs toilet was dirty, the beds in one of the upstairs bedrooms (the one with bunk beds) looked like the sheets had not been changed between guests. One of the downstairs bathrooms also had a family of critters who had moved in (I suppose this is expected in a woodsy area). But all of this was a minor issue and did not get in the way of fun.

Upon arrival, the heating and air conditioning did not work in the recreation room, the hot tub had pubic hair and other bodily fluids floating in it and the TV in the master bedroom wouldn’t work. However, little did we know those would be minor issues compared to finding a 4’ snake skin on the laundry room floor the last night before the end of our stay. We were horrified! With four children under the age of five with us, if we had of known there was even a possibility that there was a snake in the house, we would not have entered the house, much less stay there!

Gorgeous views! The house was perfect for our group. It was well appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others!

This property was amazing! All who stayed loved it and were surprised how we found such a great place. The views were stunning. So many different things to do! Would recommend this place to everyone!

This home was really unbelievable! Our hosts were so gracious and left us so many unexpected goodies and to welcome us! It was very well equipped with everything you might need. We lived in the game room when not watching football on the giant tvs!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful mountain home!

We had a wonderful time at Blackberry Vista! There were 17 of us and we enjoyed the game room, hot tub, sauna, beautiful view of the mountains and location to drive into Blowing Rock and Boone, NC for many other activities. This was a very memorable trip for our entire family. The house was just perfect for our stay.

Overall very nice. However very noisy with no sound insulation. Love the view. Would be interested in buying.

Fantastic location, easy to get to. Great hiking trails, fire pit, games room was a big hit with the kids, perfect overall stay.

There are 18 of us from toddlers to 50’s and all ages in between… Game room was so much fun-real quality billiard table, air hockey, shuffleboard, etc. The movie room was great for both movies and video games, and the under-counter ice maker in the kitchen kept all of us adults very satisfied! Plenty of room to spread out yet open enough so we could still be together. 10 mins to Appalachian Ski, Mystery Hill, Gem mines, Tanger Outlets, and 1/4 mile to Blue Ridge Conservancy hiking trails! Exceptionally clean and well stocked. Property management was very responsive to any questions we had. Absolutely 5+ stars!

We had a large group of people ranging from infant to adults and the host had everything we needed. There was so much to do in the house all of us were entertained. Side note: The host is absolutely wonderful!!! We accidentally left behind a laptop and some very sentimental jewelry and not only did the host go out of their way to secure it; they also sent it to me at no additional cost! We loved this Cabin, from the game room to the cozy living area with roaring fire, it was the perfect place for a family reunion. The Christmas tree was such a nice addition and really got us in the Christmas spirit.

We rented this property for our annual family trip to the mountains. We have been going to the North Georgia mountains for the past five years, but this trip to Boone and the absolutely spectacular fall colors and the weather coupled with the phenomenal panoramic views and amenities afforded by this home make it an easy no-brainer to come back again next year. Absolutely cannot overemphasize how great of a time my family had at the home. Unbelievable is the best word that comes to mind.
