As someone who has stayed at dozens of properties, this was a really well appointed place. Everything worked great and was perfect for two families (four adults, two kids). Fantastic view, hot tub was great, fire pit right next to the porch for easy access. Gas fireplace. HOA had a bus that takes you to and from the resort if you don't want to park in Lot #6 on a Saturday. The only issue people may have is getting up and down the mountain in adverse weather as well as getting in and out of the driveway. It honestly wasn't an issue for us but could imagine it being difficult to get used to if someone hasn't ever navigated mountain terrain. Property management was extremely responsive. Would definitely return to this property.

Pictures were definitely deceiving, driveway was much steeper than anticipated. House was cozy, beds were uncomfortable. Kitchen was well stocked, but looked much larger in pictures. We were 7, table only sat 6 with small, uncomfortable chairs. Hot tub was miles away, I have one at home 2 feet from door!

We could have stayed for a week and never wanted for anything. Beautiful area and well-decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped. Got there a couple of hours early and was easily admitted by calling property manager.

Family trip
Beautiful cabin to enjoy the scenic views and nature. We came to celebrate my daughter’s 6th birthday. We had unexpected snow our 2nd day which was the highlight! We enjoyed cooking our family dinners in the open kitchen where we could all be together. My son enjoyed the loft with the x box too!

Perfect experience!
From start to finish this has been the best experience. The house is so much better than the photos. The definition of warm and cozy. Everything was in good working order for the most part. Only one tv remote worked properly but we didn’t go for the TV. Fireplace remote turned fire but had to manually turn it off. Both were non issues. I wish I would have listened to the advice for snow chains or 4 wheel drive however, I am stubborn and knew best. Now I am the proud owner of a brand new set of $300 snow chains purchased from a local tow company. I’m sure I’ll use these quite frequently here in south west Florida. Anyhow, lesson learned and money well spent.

The cabin was poorly cleaned (during covid). It had a hole in the ceiling stuffed with foam hanging.
We were very disappointed with our stay. Was hoping for a better experience. FYI.. I am not a complainer at all it just wasn’t a good experience. However the rental company was very helpful.

Wonderful winter get away!
The cozy cabin was just what we had hoped for. Would definitely recommend! Had an issue with the fireplace not working properly and a snow shovel would’ve been helpful. (It snowed 3 times.) And as others stated, really need some light by the hot tub. These are small issues compared to what you get out of it however.

Christmas at Sugar Bear
We were there for the 10 inch snowfall Christmas Day. My issue is that for the 5 days we were there, we were provided 2 garbage bags and no snow shovel. So if we wanted to, we couldn't get out of the driveway due to the snow/ice. I called the property manager who promptly told me it was the cabin owner's responsibility for driveway plowing. So, no help and we're on our own. We luckily found a shovel from a neighbor and spend half a day digging our way out so we could leave on the day we were supposed to. Maybe the owner could actually provide some items (salt, shovel, plow service) so we didn't have to stress. We certainly paid enough money for the stay.

Great place!
We had a fantastic stay here! There were five of us, so it was a perfect size. We had game nights and watched so many movies. The view, especially when it snowed, was so beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful thanksgiving family werk
We loved staying at this property. The kitchen had everything you need with pots and pans for even a thanksgiving dinner. The only things I would say is that the hot water takes forever and there needs to be outside downstairs lightning so people won’t fall. Other than that we had a fabulous time minus missing the snow by a week.
