Jean-François and Karine (the hosts) take care about their guests, from the very warm welcome, throughout the stay till you leave. Great breakfast, there's choice for everyone, and always more then you can eat:) Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, nice duvets etc. Good, safe parking at the front door. Good access to Arc1600.

Karine et Jean-François sont super accueillants, de bons conseils et possèdent un magnifique chalet avec une vue des plus agréables. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et copieux. Le transport jusqu'au funiculaire possible à tout moment de la journée est royal. De plus, Jean François saura vous parler avec passion de la région et ses activités.

Nous avons apprécié particulièrement l’accueil chaleureux et attentionné, la convivialité du lieu, les jeux le billard… dans l’espace commun. Les prestations d’agrément, boissons, apéritif… Le petit déjeuner est remarquable!

This wonderful chalet far exceeded expectations. Hosts are lovely and facilities are exceptional. We will be back.

Von den Gastgebern wurden wir sehr nett empfangen und konnten unsere Motorräder unter Dach beim Eingang abstellen. Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht in einem wirklich tollen Bett! Auf Anfrage buchten wir das Nachtessen, welches eine bretonische Spezialität beinhaltete und aussergewöhnlich gut war. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen! Wir erfreuten uns an einem lebhaften Dialog über Gott und die Welt mit anderen Gästen und den Gastgebern am gleichen Tisch. Das alles in Englisch, Französisch und ein wenig Deutsch! Wir werden wieder kommen!

The hosts were immediately welcoming. They provided complimentary lemonade upon our arrival. They accommodated breakfast for our very early departure and provided us a ride to the bus station. They also did a load of laundry for us. We highly recommend this place for hikers on the Tour du Mont Blanc who cannot get a reservation at the Auberge de la Nova. Just try and arrange a ride with the hosts from the bus station when you arrive in town because it’s a 1.5 mile uphill hike.

1.5 uphill hike to the location was not fun. The hosts stated they would have picked us up in town if we had asked but we did not know this.

The hosts were super nice, and friendly. The view was nice. We had a fun stay.

We thought we had booked a room in a hotel, but were super surprised that this was more like a Chambre d'Hôte. Nice little room, with a great bathroom. But we were not prepared for having to mingle with the hosts an other guests, in the, very well equiped "living room". That was right outside our room. There were no info on the Booking.com site, that it was this type of place. It said that it was a restaurant there. But i was dinner for all, at a set time and one set dinner dish. You could walk to the city center. But it was not a pleasant trip/"hill climb" in 36+ weather. All this concidered we hade a fun time, but the info on the website need to be more specific. Little tip: stac up on what you like to drink, and some snack. There is no grocery store near by.

We loved the location and the views (be ready with your walking shoes to get up and down the hill - we enjoyed the 15-20 minute walk). The Chalet is lovely and the hosts are super helpful. The breakfasts are good but could be considered a bit repetitive if you stay a number of days, pancakes on the last day were great! Our room was big and stylish. The aircon was great.

In general we totally enjoyed our stay but the only thing to comment would be the 'ensuite' bathroom - yes it's in the room but it's lacking in privacy as there is no 'door'.

Awesome personel, clean and exclusive rooms with unique view on St. Bourg Maurice. I strongly recommend this exceptional place.

Such a cool place in a beautiful location overlooking Bourg, and full of fun games etc for our kids who loved it. Karine and Francois could not of been friendlier or better hosts. Thank you so much guys!

The hosts were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. They even drove us to dinner and picked us up for free and sorted the reservation as our French isn’t great. The house is beautiful and clean with great facilities and a delicious breakfast.

I liked everything about the property but a little tip for anyone staying would be to make sure they book in advance for dinner there if they don’t want to eat out as we didn’t realise we needed to let them know beforehand and takeaways don’t deliver to the address. We had a lovely dinner out so it wasn’t a huge problem.

Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Our flight was delayed into Geneva which meant we arrived at an antisocial hour but they accommodated this without any issue. On another note the breakfast was excellent!

it was a beautiful space, clean and so well appointed. comfortable and with the most incredible views of the mountain. the hosts were so welcoming and friendly.

Very helpful and very kind hosts who have a beautiful chalet and couldn’t have been more helpful. Great communication before we arrived. Breakfast was lovely too. We really enjoyed our brief stay and will be back.
