Spacious, comfortable and quiet. Nice AC during the heat of summer. A close walk to the arena and good proximity to the rest of Verona’s center.

For the price, a coffee pod or two for the Nespresso would be welcome. The check in procedure could be a little more smooth.

This is a magnificent apartment very close the Arena. It is walkable distance to almost all tourist attractions. The building is one of the traditional Verona houses with modern interior. The building looks amazing and totally immerses you in that dreamy Verona atmosphere. Everything was clean and each room had an AC. Our host was nice and polite. It looked like she had a busy schedule though. She marked all the recommended pasta places and gelaterias on a city map, and she personally recommed some of her favourites too. It was a great experience overall.

One thing most people are likely to miss or overlook is the 200 euro deposit taken out of your credit card for damage protection. This is written in the Building Rules part at the very bottom of the page, but I think this should be clearly stated in the description. The money is of course refundable. Mine got refunded in 4 days, which is fine. Apart from that, things like shampoo and soap were provided in very small amounts. The liquid soap dispenser was empty, instead each guest was provided with a travel size soap bar and tea bag size shampoo. It would have been nice to have some liquid soap and a normal size shampoo bottle in the bathroom.

In Verona, a gorgeous city to visit, Arela is THE place to stay – nesting in a quiet street a couple of minutes’ walk to the Arena – with lots of cultural attractions, restaurants, shops and several buses going to the train station. It has a balcony opening up to a memorable sunrise and welcoming a couple of chairs at the sunset – with a glass of Prosecco. On the practical side, with such hot weather, being able to check in a bit earlier, having a washing machine and aircon was superb. The steps kept us fit, on our way up and down, and Aldi – just 5 minutes away – had a great selection of Italian delicatessen. A place with a homely feeling, from the moment Licia – the welcoming host – opened the door of the spacious and well-equipped flat. A lady who kindly gave us a map of Verona with recommendations of places to visit and eat, like La Bottega della Gina serving freshly made past. So delicious that we bought two more servings to cook at home. Licia also reminded us of the rules of the house before taking the deposit – that was promptly refunded. Licia also directed us to the nearby Verona Luggage Room, a friendly place, where we went after checking out so as to stroll leisurely on our last day in the beautiful Verona. Great communications from Licia who did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. She helped with our early arrival, made sure everything was explained to us and she was available if we needed anything. The apartment has everything we needed for a short stay in Verona. The central location meant that the whole city was within easy walking distance and very convenient for the opera at the ampitheatre.

We didn't want to leave and hopefully we can come back and stay for longer next year.

Great location. There was a washing machine but no dryer or washing detergent!!!! Accommodation is on the third floor without a lift. Heavy luggage was a problem. There is a great cafe around the corner with great coffee and croissants. Fantastic panini for lunch. quite cheap. Overall a great stay.

Adorable apartment, stylishly decorated. beds were very comfortable, and we had lots of extra pillows and blankets to make them more so. Easy check in, with great tips for restaurants and things to do. Excellent location—just a five minute walk to the Arena, also five minutes from Aldi for groceries.

We loved everything about the apartment! The stairs were challenging, but we were prepared by the apartment description.

impeccable apartment. best we have stayed in over three weeks. perfect for a family. everything thought of. even laundry and laundry powder. great location. easy bus stops nearby. easy to walk. great host.

only downside was three levels up with no elevator - but hey, it’s italy!

The apartment, located in a very nice residential neighborhood in easy walking distance of restaurants and the main tourist attractions (our main target was the Arena Opera), is clean and attractively and comfortably furnished, and provides a modern bathroom and full kitchen facilities.

Parking in the area is restricted, and we had to leave our car several blocks away. Although easy for my younger companions, the walk up four flights of stairs was a bit taxing for my 85 year-old legs.

It was in a great location in the center, near the Arena. Some nice, neighborhood street views. The apartment had good working air conditioning, with a nice kitchen, dishwasher and a clothes washer. It was clean and modern. The management was very responsive and helpful.

It was up three flights of stairs to get to the top floor.

We loved this apartment! Beautiful. The air con worked like a dream, the two balconies were lovely to relax on, the kitchen is very modern and well specced. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the bathroom is obviously pretty new too. The sofa bed was very comfy and the location of the apartment was superb on a very quiet street. 5 min walk to Aldi for supplies, 5 min walk to the Arena, 10 min walk to the main centre. The owner took the time to greet us and talk us through the apartment and where to eat in Verona. We visited two of her recommendations and they were spot on. Verona itself is superb and such a lovely place, we could easily move here. We received our deposit refund promptly and without hassle. And those who complain about the stairs haven't read the descriptopn properly. For me the stairs helped keep me fit and allow me to eat more gelato!

Great location on a quiet street within walking distance to all attractions, grocery, and many cafes/restaurants. Well-appointed with clean large rooms.

It would be nice to have a few more basics in the kitchen such as coffee pods and sugar.

We had a really comfortable stay in the apartment. It is very clean and well equipped. The check-in and check-out was easy and convenient, with our Host was willing /able to facilitate an early check-in. The location was fantastic- so convenient to everywhere, yet on a quiet street, with friendly coffee shop at the end of the road. Host answered all queries quickly. Overall great place and host, definitely recommend.
