Katja and Alex are beyond amazing hosts! They made sure we made it safely and were able to get into our vacation rental (which was immaculate). Pura Vida is the perfect place to stay for those looking for a relaxing vacation - it’s a short driving distance from Boca Grande and Venice; and it’s directly across from a marina where you can take a water taxi into palm island. The best part is it’s a contactless / keyless checkin which makes it extremely easy to travel. We never had to worry about losing keys as all entries and doors have keypads! 10/10 we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for allowing us to spend our honeymoon in your paradise.

Our stay at the Pura Vida, Boca Grande apartment, was extraordinary. The location is ideal for exploring beaches, trails, and sites. However, once out and about we really just wanted to relax at our apartment. Katja and her husband, have created a paradise not only for couples, but also for those seeking a location for entire group getaways or perhaps a family reunion. The apartment(s) is emasculate, pristine, and a fun place to enjoy. Staying at the Pura Vida is a memorable experience. Cheryl and Woody

I stayed in the Bocha Grande unit and was very happy with how well kept, clean, and decorated it was, inside and out. Even walking around the grounds felt like I was in a private resort on an island somewhere. And the hosts, Katja and Alex, made me feel so welcomed and right at home. Whenever I needed anything, they were right there to accommodate. Also, I sleep on a memory foam mattress at home and was a little worried when I first saw the pillow top bed but wow, I was pleasantly surprised ! It was so comfortable and relaxing, I hardly moved during the night which made it easy to make the bed every morning. I stayed here 7 days and would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else ! Thanks again for being such warm and caring people Alex and Katja, and allowing me to have such a beautiful place to stay while I was there. 😊

Our apartment was very clean and welcoming - private hot tub in tropical garden. 15 minutes to beautiful Englewood Beach. Covered porch made it cool and convenient for outside dinner and relaxation. This was our second visit and we will most likely return.

Unit was clean, organized and very beautiful. Bed was comfortable and unit had everything we needed. Hot tub was located in tropical setting with colourful lights and was clean. Hosts are amazing…😄 Close to many beautiful beaches, groceries, golf, restaurants and boat rentals. We have booked for next year and excited to return to this wonderful gem.

I lost all of my groceries as the fridge wasn't working. The owner did offer to allow me to use the fridge in another unit downstairs but that was rather inconvenient. We ended up just having to trash all the food . What a waste. Otherwise the property was nice, however the location itself is pretty remote. Very clean and I enjoyed the outdoor space

We stayed for a month and were very pleased with our apartment. It was spotless and equipped with everything we needed. Alex and Katja were delightful, helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. Close to the ICW and beaches! We will be back.

Pura Vida is a tropical paradise hidden in Placida Florida! We loved our second floor apartment overlooking the palm trees and gardens, and our own private hotub cabana. Owners are super friendly and responded quickly to our requests. Pet friendly, yet quiet and relaxing. Everything was very new and clean, the decor beautifully done. Five Stars!!!

Pura Vida is absolutely amazing. So much thought went into making this property a relaxing tropical retreat. It’s close to local beaches, restaurants, golf and nightlife, yet is quiet and secluded. With its beautiful seating areas, Pura Vida would be an ideal choice if traveling with other couples. Can’t wait to come back.

Roomy and convenient location to beaches, bike trails and beaches. Clean and all the needed household items well stocked. Will stay here again.

We enjoyed this beautifully decorated apartment. The bed was very comfortable, furnishings, appliances, everything was top notch! It was so nice having a private hot tub, and our own deck area. I just wish Xfinity would not show channels that aren’t “authorized “. But who needs to watch TV anyway when there’s so much to do? We enjoyed hiking the trails just down the street.

Property is listed accurately. Apartment is fresh, clean, spacious and quiet. Alex and Katja the owners/ managers were attentive, very pleasant and gracious hosts. Several beaches are only a short drive away.

Pleasantly surprised by the accommodation of the Villa. It was very updated, clean and spacious. It had everything we needed for the week. Hosts were very informative, friendly, and accommodating. Area was close to many attractions. We loved having the fresh fruit that was provided from their beautiful landscape.

My wife and I were very pleased with the resort and the property owners. The Boca Grande suite was very spacious and extremely well equipped and we loved the beach themed decor. While our vacation was cut short due to the pandemic, we were pleased that the owners have honoured our unused nights for a vacation in 2021. We can’t wait to go back and discover more of the gulf coast and have our wine night with the property owners. Cheers and stay safe!!!!

We loved our stay at Pura Vida! Everything about it was first class, We were hesitant about renting because there were no reviews yet, but the accommodations were exceptional. We loved all the fruit and palm trees throughout the property. Katja and Alek were the perfect hosts. They always got back to us promptly answering all our questions regarding the many beaches and where to find sharks teeth. They gave us some teeth they had found, so we knew what we were looking for. We loved the area, taking the golf cart to Palm Island and all the great restaurants. We will be back! Joni and Paul Lerum

Rented the “Boca Grande” condo with no reviews as this place is newly renovated. We were not disappointed. Went strictly off the pictures on the listing. It was just as shown...but, even better! Sparkling clean with quality furniture, appliances, etc. location is great for visiting Boca Grande Island, Palm Island, and surrounding areas, such as Venice and Sarasota. The owners are fantastic, and available for directions to local attractions. Bicycles are available to rent, etc. We had a very nice time, and were totally satisfied with the accommodations. Only one thing I would have liked, was a blender to make some smoothies/ cocktails/drinks. Otherwise, the kitchen was fully equipped. Would rent here again.
