Beautiful cottage, tastefully decorated and cosy. Excellent location, really near the beach and town but far enough away its not noisy. 3 minute walk down the cliff to the nearest dog friendly cafe.
Dogs v welcome and Winston (our dog) felt v at home, especially when the lady sent a message saying his water bowl was ready for him 😍
Very, very understanding when our dog scratched the door too, which we were very grateful for.
Could do with a little more cleaning. Lots of cobwebs around and dusty in places.

Great location. Nice and quiet. Free parking nearby if not available on the road. Cottage lovely and clean and really accommodating for small children - high chair, travel cot, stair gates, bedtime books.

The location worked well for us, attending a family occasion on the Island, The cottage is well appointed; our party varied from two to five adults during our stay, at the higher end it was rather full! Very good email communication from our hosts.
Unloading the car in a narrow street and then finding a parking space was slightly awkward, but a space was always found in a neighbouring street. We were prepared for steep stairs in Ventnor and they were as expected!

The cottage was perfect for our family with everything there ready for us. It was really well furnished and suited our family of 5 with a dog. Marjella made everything super easy and was quick to get in touch with. The location was ideal for exploring Ventnor and the surrounding areas. We managed to fit alot into a short visit. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.
The stairs were very steep but stairgates were provided so this wasn't an issue with a young family and a dog.

Amazing location, reasonable price for what you get and pet friendly too!! The communication was amazing from the host and nothing was too much trouble, would definetly use again and recommend to anyone!

Self catering. It was very small but convenient location and pleasant. Despite all the criticism, we had a great time!!
The small bedroom , a converted bathroom could have been improved with a mirror and somewhere to hang your towels. Hooks on the back of doors also help in a small space. The mattress in the main bedroom was lumpy. The sheets hadn't been ironed and didn't smell that fresh. The throws in the sitting room smelled a bit doggy! A note for older people...the stairs are extremely steep!

Welcome package was a nice touch and the equipment far exceeded our expectations.
The owners have obviously thought a lot about the décor and nice touches are to be found all round the cottage.
Being an older couple with creaky limbs we didn't like the stairs as they were small and steep. Fine if you are not getting on for eighty years of age otherwise, not.

No bbq allowed, which is a shame in summer but I get it.. just no space.
