Planes flying over after 6 am. For us it was a little far from the Camino route but neither of these could be helped by our host

My friends and I stayed here and it was great ! Marta is extremely kind and helpful. The rooms are big and tidy. And the breakfast variety was amazing! I definitely recommend this place :)

Clean, simple and practical with superb host.

One good thing it is that is 10 min away by taxi from the Airport.

During my stay there was a noise after 10 pm (interesting how there was no noise during the day) as two teenagers were screaming and arguing. That happened both nights. Somehow did not like this place and during my stay in Portugal this was the worst place.

This is a wonderful place to stay! For me, the location was perfect: in the town of Matosinhos, quite close to the ocean, in a district with a real Portuguese feel. The house has a genuine homelike atmosphere. The owner - Marta - was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was available in the kitchen and we could get it anytime we wanted - which is great for those who are not early birds but night owls, like us. The breakfast was of the contintental type: bread for toasting, cakes, jam, butter, cheese, fruit, milk, cereal, yoghurt, tea, coffee. We had nice room with a balcony. In general, we felt great there and would absolutely recommend it!

This is not the fault of this place but of the area in general: if you're sensitive to noise, remember that Matosinhos lies near the airport, so you can hear the planes landing.

Shared kitchen very useful. Easy parking on quiet safe street. Very helpful host and quick check in, 5 mins from airport by car....

Noisy doors from other residents quite disturbing....
