Wonderful casita. Absolutely immaculate inside. Very quiet and right across the street from the Scottsdale McDowell Sonoran Preserve. Great location.

We enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very friendly and available if needed. Landscaping is beautiful and nice view out over the desert to watch the sunset. Unit was clean and nicely decorated.

Just terrific. Great place, beautiful setting and area, everything you need, clean as can be, really nicely designed and furnished, excellent communication with the host. Look forward to staying here again.

Great location near hiking and Scottsdale Preserve. Good restaurants and shopping nearby. Bonus that the wildflowers were in bloom while we were there!

The property was very clean and well appointed. The location was perfect for us. It is away from the busy city traffic in a very scenic area. The property owners kept in contact in case we needed anything. And the McDowell Preserve has two trailheads for hiking very close to the property. We enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our too short visit to this perfectly appointed vacation home. Exactly as described. Immaculately clean, modernly decorated, well-stocked kitchen and bath, comfy, cozy bed, tv that even we seniors could manage to operate. We appreciated Kristen's attention to detail. Very close to a Brown's Ranch where we enjoyed daily walks/hikes. Had a great dinner at Tonto Bar & Grill; very busy, make reservations. Quiet, rural area within an easy drive of Scottsdale.

We had such a great, comfortable stay at the casita.. The rooms were meticulous maintained and the serenity that it brought us during our stay was priceless. Thanks for making this a peaceful place to lay our heads away from the hustle and bustle of the city! We will be back.

This was a perfect casita for us, partway between our home under renovation and all the stores etc that we were frequenting. Kristen and Dale were fine hosts and we would stay there again.

The property was everything we were looking for. A quiet, out of the way retreat. The proximity to hiking trails was a major plus. The Casita and its furnishings were very inviting. Highly recommend the property to anyone wanting to be out of the hustle and bustle of traffic.

Perfect place for just me and my spouse. We spent a lot of time in Cave Creek, so the location was perfect.

We were very pleased with our stay, it was very clean & comfortable, the owners were very kind, and the location was outstanding as well. For the just the two of us, we had a very active week in Scottsdale and so it was exactly what we needed! I'd recommend it!

It was one of the nicest homes I have ever stayed in. The house was perfectly appointed .There was nothing that I could have imagined to be more perfect. Looking out the windows, the gardens told stories. The fresh air the quiet and stillness of being up in that area of the desert is something everyone should experience. I didn’t want to leave. The host., honored my privacy and yet were there if I needed anything. I will definitely come back!

We selected this house due to the proximity to Pinnacle Peak and its plethora of trails. The added bonus was a beautiful house and area to telework and relax to watch the sunset. The WiFi was plenty fast for my partner and I to work during the day. The kitchen is well equipped and has nearly everything you need to prepare your meals. The owners Kristen and Dale are very nice and extremely responsive, plus they were a pleasure to chat with during our stay. If we return to Scottsdale, we will definitely stay here again!

This rental is absolutely beautiful. I had never stayed at a VRBO before, so I was a little nervous about what the experience and the property itself would be like. My concern was completely unnecessary. Kristen was there to get me checked in and to give me the key. The rental is adjacent to their garage, and a beautiful little courtyard separates the rental from their house. The unit is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything in it was immaculate when I arrived,and set up for me to have a wonderful stay.. I loved the windows in the sitting area and bedroom that face west. I love nature, and to be able to see the beautiful Arizona sky, and the natural property right across the street was a bonus for me.. The door has a full length glass pane, so I could see out into the beautifully landscaped courtyard and front yard landscaping.. I was able to watch the hummingbirds come to their feeders, and I watched the woodpeckers and other birds who came to drink the hummingbirds' nectar. Early one morning, a family of Arizona quail were exploring the rocks in the courtyard and making their adorable little quail noises. I loved that. The sofa was very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped, right down to your choice of three different coffee makers. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination, which I loved. I'm always disappointed to stay somewhere that only has a shower. The bed is so very comfortable, and the linens very high quality. There is a large closet in the bedroom with plenty of hangers. A linen closet holds extra towels and sheets. There is a full size washer and dryer too. The heat/air conditioner combination worked perfectly, and during my stay, I needed both. The photos for this unit are great, but everything is so much more beautiful than the photos depict. I loved being able to sit in the courtyard and look out into the sky and nature area across the street. Kristen was always just a text or phone call away when I had questions about the area or needed anything. Kristen and Dale are very gracious, helpful and welcoming hosts. When I'm in the Scottsdale area again, I will definitely want to stay here. I have to share this too; when I first arrived and saw how wonderful everything was, I felt as if I had won the VRBO lottery in my choice of this rental!
