This place was awesome. Very conveniently located to downtown and was just what we were looking for.

After a week of driving, this was a delightful home away from home combining elegance with comfort and beautiful views and a central location.

There was plenty of space and accommodations for all three of us. The kitchen was just right. If you like more than salt and pepper, you'll need to bring spices with you. My one complaint is that the windows were all sealed shut. It would have been amazing to have been able to open them and get the breeze.

Located in old town Eureka, CA this home was perfect for my family vacation

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at the Lilac House in Eureka, and it was absolutely stunning! The house itself is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Charming and comfortable and quiet! The location is conveniently close to downtown, and within easy walking distance of all the shops, art studios and restaurants. The views from the windows are breathtaking and it was especially wonderful to be able to enjoy our morning coffees looking out at the Humboldt Marina. So many details make this the most charming accommodations I’ve ever had. We look forward to our next visit to the area, and wouldn't look past the Lilac House for our accommodation. Five out of five stars.

We had a wonderful stay. The flat is beautifully decorated, bed was comfy, amenities were ample. We enjoyed being able to amble into the historical district and to the boardwalk. We would have liked to have a little map, so we went to tourist information and left one in the flat. Would definitely stay again.

This house made me feel very unsafe someone else stayed downstairs and it made me feel very uncomfortable thinking they could walk through the door while I was sleeping. The dish machine was filled with old water that had a horrible smell. The hot water was not hot for more than 5 minutes to shower. No fans and the air wouldn’t drop temp. Outside when we pulled up there were so many bums walking around. This location was not safe for me at all.

Very easy and streamlined

This cute Victorian is in a perfect location, right on the waterfront and walking distance to many sights. Although the kitchen was not particularly well equipped, the unit was very clean and pleasantly decorated. We had a bit of an issue with the security light going on and off all night which flooded the bedroom with light and kept us from sleeping. (Racoons triggered the motion-sensored light.) I understand the need for a security light, but suggest black out curtains so sleep is possible.

It was clean, well equipped and spacious. The stairs are a drawback and it would be nice to have one empty cub board for guests to put their food in.

Our stay was wonderful. Location is perfect for walking to restaurants (and a few were open for dine-in). The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. One thing to note the rooms don’t have good blinds or blackout curtains so if you are a light sensitive sleeper bring eye mask.

Nice amenities, well organized and plenty of room for our family of four.

The rooms were beautiful and so comfortable! Everything we needed was right there! Great kitchen, huge tub, beautiful view and close to great shops! It was a perfect retreat for us!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Very clean cute decor right next to everything in the downtown eureka area. We would definitely come back.

This review was submitted before the home was managed by Vacasa. We completely fell in love with our vacation rental�� There are fabulous views out every window!! We felt somewhat secluded perched on the top of the hill overlooking the bay. Trinidad is a fabulous and friendly little California town.
