Great property!

Beautiful views, a very clean and comfortable home, fully stocked with all we needed! The deck was a great place to watch the sunset over the ocean. We rented both units (5br total between the two) and it was the perfect spot for our family of 6 adults (with some beds to spare!). We had a wonderful time and everyone loved the house. The hosts are terrific! Highly recommend this VRBO!

Amazing location of property in a very quiet neighborhood with easy access to beach. Very cozy setup with safe setup for kids, which was great to have. Overall amazing place to stay with family and kids.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of 12 with grandparents, parents and teenagers! The layout of the house with the separate living areas and set-up of bedrooms was wonderful for the 6 teenagers to feel like they had their own space. The outdoor sitting spaces were also appreciated with beautiful views of the ocean. The property is quiet and offers a coastal hiking trail to nearby businesses, eateries and grocery stores. A wonderful house to stay in if you are wanting to visit San Francisco and also enjoy the slow life in this beautiful coastal community. Wonderful Family Vacation!

Awesome experience

This house has a great location at the end of a quiet street in Half Moon Bay. There’s really nothing walking distance besides the beach but you could bike if you brought your own. Traveling with a baby here - fyi they don’t have a crib or pack and play but we picked one up at target on our way over. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need for cooking and eating in which was nice. The only annoying thing was that there’s not central heat in the unit with three bedrooms, just individual units in each room, so you have to go around adjusting them throughout the day because it was warm during the day and cold at night. Overall a good experience and we enjoyed our stay!

The home is quite comfortable and lovely. The access to the beach and ocean and many walking trails was a bonus. The event was my 70th birthday celebration with 9 close friends of many decades. Everyone loved the location, accommodations and amenities. Our VBRO host was attentive and very helpful. He was incredibly responsive to any questions I had. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night getaway and I will never forget the birthday celebration venue and experience.

House was spotless. Kitchen was fully equipped. Locations close to a quiet beach. Easy access to local shops and restaurants. Couldn’t ask for more.

Our family was looking for a place to meet in Northern California where members from across the U.S. could easily come together. We chose Half Moon Bay because it was just an hour's drive from two major airports and a half-day drive from SoCal where some of us were coming from. Also, Half Moon Bay is beautiful. We needed a place that would comfortably sleep 9 people. This home was perfect! The great thing about this property is it is actually two connected houses that are fully equipped on both sides. This is great for multiple families and multi-generations where some folks are using a loud video game in one room, some teens are enjoying the super-size Connect 4 game in the hall, and some of the older family members are upstairs on the deck enjoying the quieter space. The huge dining room table has leaves and so can seat everyone around the table. There is plenty here to accommodate everyone: plates, glassware, silverware--and if a group of the family likes to go to bed earlier than the others, the door between the two sides allows for a lot of privacy. Did I mention the amazing location?! The house is at the end of a cul de sac right at the beach. A short 2-minute walk has you on sand, and it is a clean, wide, lovely beach at that. You can hear the sound of the waves from the house. If you want that backdrop, you can leave your bedroom window open at night. The space is exactly as depicted in the photos: beautiful colors and decor. The beds are comfortable, there are plenty of seating areas for various groups to get together, and I love that there are 3 full bathrooms in the space. On the house closest to the street side, the master bathroom is especially lovely with a skylight and beautiful decor. Yes, the rental is pricy, but when we calculated how much it would cost to reserve 5 different rooms at a decent hotel in Half Moon Bay, this actually came out comparable--and we had the added advantage of the run of the place and huge shared spaces to eat and hang out in. For a large family gathering, a group retreat, or other such event, we thought it was just perfect! Please note, though, that this is a quiet neighborhood and the rental agreement expressly prohibits parties. That worked well for our multi-generational group, and we were all in bed by 11 on the weekend, but it's something to be aware of. Beach vibes yes! Comraderie yes! Kegger no!

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday with family - had young and old, and it was a fantastic spot. The home is updated and has lots of living area so everyone has enough space. Plus, the walking trail and beach are just outside. It almost feels like your own private beach!

Ease of access, great amenities, clean and a very coastal fun nautique vibe. Able to run along the shore every morning! :)

We had a family stay for a 70th birthday. The home accommodated everyone ages 1-70. The beach was close, clean and beautiful. The home was clean and comfortable. The owner was easy to work with. Very convenient to SFO. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful beach house! Great location and short walk to the beach. Tastefully decorated and well stocked. We had 4 adults and 5 kids (ages 9-17). Big enough for everyone to have their own space, but comfortable enough to gather for games and dinning together. We would definitely come again!
