3rd floor without elevator (had to bring up the stroller every time), no parking at all available-even for the loading/unloading of luggage, apartment is in the limited traffic zone requiring special ticket - instructions were given shortly before arrival.

We were welcomed to the apartment by Cesare, who graciously waited for us to introduce us to the apartment, even when we were delayed by an hour. The Heart of Parma is in an excellent location. The Parma Cathedral and Baptistry were right at the end of the street! Many of the major sights were a short walk from the apartment. The apartment itself was beautifully set up with all the necessary facilities, including air conditioning in every room. This was very welcome, as the temperature was quite hot whilst we were there. There was plenty of storage for clothes and equipment to wash clothes and iron them.

Really the only thing we found exhausting towards the end of our week's stay was that the apartment was on the fourth floor. This could be a consideration for anyone who struggles with stairs
