Had wonderful stay . Enjoyed Staithes with the walking , car free, crabbing , lovely meals out . Location of property is great and bonus is a private parking slot Host is very responsive. Good communication. Had a small issue which was addressed

We enjoyed our stay, though it wouldn't suit people who don't like stairs as there are a lot. The kitchen was fantastically equipped! Though the smell of damp caused my husband breathing difficulties, it seems its only in the bottom half of the kitchen cupboards, couldn't get main oven to work, luckily had top oven (3 children to cook for) couldn't get any hot water but host quickly rectifyed. It is what it is, and we needed a break. It was clean apart from the grill hadn't been cleaned and crumbs on the side. It's great you can bring your dog but be mindful that the outdoor garden is enough for them is tiny. I think if the house book could be left on the table it would be helpful, Nothing major just leaving an honest review.

Fantastic location and lovely property. Would definitely stay there again. However could not leave first floor bedroom window open as wasn't secure if windy.

Wonderful house on 4 floors with very steep stairs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great location and very spacious property. Would benefit from garden but that’s impossible with these lively old cottages.

1 bellmont is a great place to stay. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their own space. Ideally located to relax &explore

We love Staithes and the local area. Great walks, friendly people. Didn't like the kitchen. Too dark. Smelled damp all the time even after heating it. Cooking very difficult there because the pans were wrong for the type of cooker. Took 45 mins to boil potatoes cut up small and placed in boiling water from the kettle. So something is wrong. Liked the living room. Floor of main bedroom sloped so head below feet. My side of bed sloped so I felt I was going to fall out. We propped up the legs to stop this happening. I know it's an old property and loved the quirky features but some things need addressing. Like brighter bulbs in the kitchen and bathroom. Wouldn't stay in that property again and couldn't recommend it

Belmont is well located and provides good size rooms and enough equipment to cook etc. but would benefit from some tlc and coordinated thought to the interiors and functional maintenance. Pluses: comfy beds, hot decent bath and shower. Downsides: decor is very tired and a bit cluttered, too many random bits of furniture and bric-a-brac, old towels and curtains. Every room has a tv but unfortunately only half of them are hooked up to a signal so just more clutter unless you bring your own amazon box to connect. The drainage of the shower is poor and we had to empty the kitchen sink trap to get that to drain properly too. The bathroom door lock needs a new bolt as does top floor window and none of the sash windows open. The hob in the kitchen doesnt work and whilst plug-in hobs have been provided, its an inconvenient wotkaround. So all in all, I had hoped for slightly nicer accommodations but they could be easily improved. The location was great, house was comfortable for the 4 of us and owner very helpful when i had questions!

A beautiful fishing village, perfectly located for all we needed as an escape with the family.

The house is lovely everything that you can need is there. It is like a home from home. The owner was very responsive to any questions that we had and all the instructions were really accurate . The only thing that I found slightly tricky about the house was the stairs - my boys loved them !

The house was comfortable, roomy and had everything we needed for a good stay in Staithes. The WIFI worked really well for all of us, and there were 4 adults using it with no problems. We had no problems during our stay but I did have a couple of queries for Mark which we’re resolved very quickly. Can happily recommend this house.

Comfortable & perfectly located

We had a fantastic week at this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed and it was a fantastic base to explore North Yorkshire. The owner was great and communicated really well. We’d highly recommend this place!

The property is really well equipped for a family holiday with really comfortable beds and seating.plenty of books and games for rainy days. Although the stairs can be an issue for the older visitor. Staithes is a lovely quaint fishing village and the two local pubs fantastic food, again the village is not really suited to people with mobility issues, but we enjoyed our short stay anyway

A great house in the middle of the village with everything you need for a holiday. Instructions were clear and responses to queries were answered promptly.Staithes is a beautiful village and so much to see and do in the surrounding areas.Would definitely go back.

Nice, well equiped, well maintained large property, with freindly and helpfull owners

Property is in great location in the village. Not high end property but everything you needed and very homely. Would definitely recommend to friends. We did have a small issue but that was pointed out at the beginning of our stay and was resolved very quickly. Owner quick to respond. Well equipped for if weather not good as had sky, Now Tv and free sat in other rooms. Kitchen well equipped. Arrival instructions very clear as where the departure ones. Parking was OK if you could get a spot. They do supply parking permit for top car park so that is a bonus. Lots to do in surrounding area. I think it would be better if the owner not only had book about the house but maybe a similar one for things to do in and around the area, especially for someone who didn't know area. We had a great time and locals are very friendly too

Good location, spacious home, well equipped.

Stayed in Staithes a few times now and hope to return again. This property is located in the old streets within a few mins walk of pretty sea front and facilities. Great position to people watch. It's position does mean it's a little tricky for loading but that's expected in Staithes and the owners supply parking permits. The house had plenty of room. Love the area as it has both coast and moors.

Property owner easy to contact, good information and lovely welcome package on arrival. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
