Great location. Close enough to walk to restaurants and beach. Plenty of parking at house and down the street. Very spacious

Very clean and well maintained. The furniture and appliances are very new. Our concerns are the property manager should list the house rules in the rental listing. We found out a few days before our stay and after the final payment was made that either you bring your own linens,towels, and wash cloths or wash and dry everything you use before you leave. Check out time is 10:00 am. This could possibly be a challenge to large families to try and get it done by 10:00. Also there were a number of scented air fresheners plugged in through out the house. This would be a major concern to anyone with asthma or other lung issues.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious enough for me and my friends. Only draw back was there is only 2 parking spaces. Which is ok just car pool. It’s close to the wineries and restaurants. Definitely would love to visit again during summer to be able to walk around area. It would have been nice to have a hot tub out back. But the deck is lovely. Over all we enjoyed the home.

The house has everything you need, everything went smoothly, lovely environment.

From the moment you walk into the house you know you're at the beach! The coconut smell, the brightness of the house, etc. My friends and I had a fantastic weekend in Cape May. Accommodations were great. Plenty of beds and couches for sleeping and relaxing!

We stayed here for our babymoon and had an incredible time! House was exceptionally clean and a huge space for the two of us and our pup. Patti was super accommodating to us and our requests. Best place to stay in Cape May! Walking distance to everything and a quiet area! We will be returning!

Our first time to Cape May and our first vrbo experience was amazing. The property is in a great location, the owner is very helpful and easy to contact, and the house is modern and very clean. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to spend time with family or friends in Cape May!

We stayed for a long weekend during Christmas in Cape May. The house was cute & decorated for the season. It was in a great location, very close to the center of Cape May near shops & restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

The house has comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen! The decor is very cute. We visited in the off season and we enjoyed biking to the promenade- it’s a straight shot, with a bike lane, and only .6 miles to the ocean/promenade. Our kids loved the bunk beds, tv in their room, and board games. Everything our family of four needed/wanted for a Cape May getaway.

My husband and I stayed here with our small dog for a long weekend celebrating our anniversary in November. Patti made it very seamless as we had no issues during our stay and was responsive in communication leading up to our stay. House was fully equipped with everything (we chose to bring our own linens) and slider door to backyard was convenient for our dog. Only one neighbor attached to this house as it’s a double but no issues there. House is clean and very well decorated. We have stayed at many pet friendly places in the past and this one is one of our favorites for sure! Our first time to Cape May was one to remember. Lots of great BYOB restaurants and nice bar lounge with live pianists. The beautiful weather helped too especially for a trolley ride. This is our absolute favorite place to stay in Cape May. The house is always immaculate and beautifully decorated and the beds and sofas are wonderful. Close to everything yet away from all the noise. The television is easy to use and all of the essentials are provided. The process and communication from start to finish is always excellent. Thanks again for allowing us to travel with our beloved pets and stay at your home!

enjoyed our stay, first visit to Cape May and loved it! Hosts very nice and were very responsive to our temporary murky water issue which turned out was related to nearby water line construction work. House was very nice , loved all the beach decor!!!

We had a lovely stay in Cape May with our newborn and small dog. Unfortunately the weather didn’t turn out great for us to fully enjoy the grill and outdoor space, but even without that we had a great time. The place is fully equipped and has everything you need. Short walk to town and beach. Would love to come back again.

The house exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the house was beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed our meals on the back patio. My youngest brother is an executive chef at a country club in Sarasota, FL and made himself right at home in the kitchen which was well-appointed. One for the memory book.

This house was perfect for our girls’ getaway weekend. It was the perfect size for the 6 of us. The house itself was cozy and charming and we could tell that the owner put a lot of thought into the all the decorations. It was only a 15 minute walk to the shopping area and just around the corner from our favorite restaurant The Washington Inn. We may have to make this our annual place to stay in Cape May!

We loved our stay at Cape Mackie! It was such a cute place & very clean! Patti had everything & thought of every detail to the home to give it that beach feel. This was the first time we brought our puppy & we couldn’t have asked for a better first place for her to stay. We hope to be back again in the future!

Everyone in our family had so much fun during our first Cape May vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed the house especially the outdoor spaces. There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved their room with the bunk beds. The location of the house was ideal with everything only a short walk away. Beautifully maintained property with some special extra touches

Great beach rental. Clean and tastefully decorated. Great kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. Ample linens. Lovely hosts. A little difficult to pull in and out of the driveway, otherwise no complaints! Highly recommend.

Our family LOVES Cape May and staying at Cape Mackie makes our trip a five star experience. It was our 4th year staying there! Everything is spotless and fresh, clean and comfortable. The decor is gorgeous and classy. The kitchen/house is stocked with pretty much everything you might need. The outdoor spaces are lovely, as well. Plenty of storage and breathing room. You can walk to the Washington Street Mall and 2 different parks/playgrounds. We always drive to get closer to the beach but there’s always plenty of free parking on Queen Street where the beach box is (another amazing extra that is offered with this rental!) Beach tags are also provided. You won’t regret booking this rental - we are already excited for next year!

We were very happy with our stay at Patti and Jay's place, Cape Mackie. The location was excellent as it was only a short bike ride or walk to the Acme, downtown shops, and the beach. If you're looking to stay with your dog(s), there is a decent-sized mulched dog park within a short walk from the property. The space itself felt much larger in person than how it appears in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The cleaning crew did an excellent job before our stay as the place was spotless and smelled fantastic upon entry. The only thing missing in our eyes was a fenced-in yard, especially being so close to a busier road, but it did not take away from our experience. 5/5 stars and we would love to stay here again in the future!

This home has everything you need and is beautifully furnished. We have stayed in dog friendly homes before and most if not all had an ick factor to them. This home was spotless. I would stay here with or without our dog. I appreciate Patti’s attention to detail in the guidelines. Check in to check out was a smooth process. The property is within walking distance to many things which was also a plus. It was a little cooler so our beach days were limited. I am sure having the beach box available is a plus. Overall our stay was excellent.

High standards as always! Everything you need for a relaxing vacation and we could bring our special family member Kona who thinks it’s HIS vacation home. Patti is soooo accommodating and makes you feel so welcome. I just love her. We LOVE Cape Mackey!
