This was a great birthday getaway with me and my girlfriend. The location of the place is magnificent and beautiful. And the house itself was equally as beautiful. Very organized and very clean. Will definitely be back and won't hesitate to stay here again. The host was very responsive. Overall was a great stay and would highly recommend.

A very nice get a way enjoyed the rain looking out of the windows seeing the trees. It had everything you need in the kitchen. The tub was fabulous the back yard is beautiful very relaxing.

Mary was a great host and was very responsive whenever I had a question. The place was perfect- clean and comfortable. The soaking tub and hot tub were my absolute lifesavers after long days on trail and aching muscles. The kitchen was beautiful and it was nice to have some things on hand to avoid total restaurant dining. You can sometimes hear the downstairs tenants if they are very loud (happened only 1 of our 4 nights there), but I just used a white noise app on my phone and it was fine for sleeping. So glad to have found this place and would stay again if we were in the area!

The property is tucked back off the road and absolutely wonderful. The surrounding scenery is lush. We will definitely stay here during our trips to Humbolt.

Beautiful wood ceilings and trim, tons of windows to enjoy the parklike setting but still lots of privacy. The deep soaking tub a definite plus! Best appointed kitchen - it had Everything, and good quality cookware, etc. Couches and barstools comfortable, and I'm a bit wide in the beam ;) Bed was very comfortable, good support. While this place was more than I usually spend (this trip was just me), it was very reasonable for all it offered. Lots of special touches, really a gem!

It is stylish - looks like something on HGTV. We also liked the location, the open floor plan and how spacious it is. The only problems we had were locking and unlocking the door (it's tricky) and figuring out what the many light switches controlled. The property is lovely and serene.

We used this rental as a home base to explore Redwood National Park, Smith River, and Arcata. The location is convenient. The house was clean and the kitchen well equipped. Comfortable beds and great bathroom. Plenty of yard for the kids to run around. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property manager was very responsive when we made requests.

This is a charming place to stay that offers easy access to the Redwoods and the convenience of a fully stocked kitchen and laundry facilities.

Cozy place to stay. Nice tub, lots of kitchen supplies, and a great view on both sides.

This property was amazing! Nestled in the redwoods but also sunny and bright. Convenient location, close to beaches, trails, stores and restaurants. Professional kitchen, luxurious bathroom, open space with windows all around and a huge bedroom. Large TV had a cable package with every game of our favorite baseball team! So we were very happy. Hot tub looked clean and inviting and an apple tree was laden with perfect fruit! So overall, our stay in this lovely space was excellent!

Great overall experience, will stay here again. Only drawback was thin walls, but little ones downstairs fell asleep at decent hour so not a problem.

Things to know. You are upstairs from a studio that is rented out and next to/above another family. Awesome people, but good to know prior. But everything was awesome! There was a swing on the two acre property that my daughter enjoyed. There hot tub is by one of the renters bedroom window, so if you are looking to make a bunch of noise it's not the place for you. Beautiful place !

We really enjoyed the indoor space with the nice kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and laundry room. The outside of the house needs some work (peeling paint and spider webs).

Loved everything about the property. The bathroom was amazing! Used the grill every day and the hot tub was so nice. The beds are extremely soft and cozy as well. The only thing I wish I had known, is the property is connected to a tenant who has children. Not a big deal, but the trip was for our anniversary, and hearing kids screaming first thing in the morning, every morning, was something I wish I had known before booking. You can hear everything coming from their house.. Even the TV at night. We ended up using our bluetooth speaker to drown out the noise. Other than that, a terrific stay! Thanks again.

A beautiful property with beautiful grounds, easy access to town and beaches

My wife and I really liked the property and space. It had plenty of room for us, and very nice appliances, TV, Great bathtub, great shower big enough for two of us.However the next door neighbors were very loud, and we had to keep the TV on, just to try to block out the noisy child that was loud and kept screaming and being excessively loud past 10:30 at night. The very nice and helpful manager says the owner will be addressing the thin connecting wall issue next month (October of 2020) so hopefully the noise issue is fixed very soon. We loved the place and hope to stay there again, but we will be checking with Mary the manager first to see if the wall has been insulated and fixed to greatly reduce the sounds from next door. Also, if you are older or have mobility issues this upstairs location is not the best for you, there are 22 steps up to the second story and it's a bit of a carry for your luggage etc. We thought it was worth it :) :) John & Kathy
