We absolutely loved our stay at Blacksmiths Beach. The house was spacious, well kept, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for a few days away with a small group of friends. Jon and Gabrielle were incredibly accomodating and helpful, and it’s clear that they put a lot of care into the property. I have already recommended the place to family and friends. Thanks for having us!

Wonderful stay, couldn’t ask for anything more. House fully equipped with so much entertainment and plenty of room for everyone!!! Not to mention the beach just a short stroll away!!! The locals are super friendly. The adults were well rested and the kids were entertained every second.. the only trouble was deciding what to eat or drink for the day.. we have made lovely new 2023 Christmas memories, Thank you Jon and Gabrielle.

Our families had a great experience renting out John’s home. The property is huge and is just across the road from beach access.

Great property and location
The property was well setout, the fitout is really nice and luxurious. The property location across the Rd from the beach is also a Greta aspect of this rental. I highly recommend anyone going to blacksmiths / Swansea area to book this property

Great location and property
Everything had been thought of. Big rooms, plenty of space for our 2 families. Gorgeous decor, right across from the beach.
The only disappointment was that we needed to live out of our suitcases as there was no storage / cupboards/ hanging space in all bedrooms apart from bed 1.

Perfect Christmas Getaway
We stayed at Jon and Gabrielle's property for our annual friends and family Christmas get together and could not have had a better time. The property is clean and well equipped to prepare a Christmas meal for all, with so many separate spots for everyone to hang out at. We'll be back next year at Christmas again!

Greatest parents and kids retreat
The property is fantastic and the location works summer or winter. Summer you can take advatage of the beach and water activities and in winter enjoy the fantastic facilities at the home. The kids could not believe the games retreat out the back and were so disappointed when it was time to head home. Jon is a fantastic host and provided fantastic information before the stay to help with planning some things to do

Brilliant Family Gem
The photos look good but the place is even better! Spacious, well kept and immaculately presented. Hosts, Jon & Gabrielle, provided many extra touches to make us feel welcome and at home. Weather-wise, it could have been a miserable weekend, with non-stop rain, and flooding, but the house more than made up for it and we had a great family get together. Cannot wait to get back!

we came for our annual trip to State Championships and what an amazing stay it was! The house was perfectly located, incredibly clean, and i have never stayed in better supplied accommodation. Owners really have their guests in mind. Even the neighbours are nice, next door neighbour gave our children bunch of home grown bananas! Beautiful, comfortable stay! I wish all Stayz houses are like this! Loved it and hope to be back!

Gorgeous Location right off Blacksmiths
This property seems to be recently renovated with a modern style and thoughtful additions. All kitchens are fully equipped making cooking an ease. The hangout area in the back was one of the highlight areas as well as Caves beach which is a short drive away. Blacksmiths point was also awesome. 100% would recommend this place for a short getaway with close friends and family.

This property was absolutely perfect for our extended family. We had booked the house for a belated Christmas weekend away and it did not disappoint. Firstly Jon was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the very beginning, offering advice on local restaurants and popular beach locations, and was very clear on check in and check out information. There was everything that we needed in the house and more - we'll definitely be back again.

We have a full house family 10 people and this house provided a cot, this was the main reason to pick. Location is very handy, walk to beach in 2 minutes. Shops are located out in the main road. Choices of cafes, restaurants are suited in Swansea and Belmont. We even drove to Hunter Valley Garden for lightings, it was about 1.5 hour. Or up to Newscastle requires driving for 30 minutes. Jon is very generous. he has provided everything in the kitchen to bathroom for you. There were welcome drinks in the fridge, once you arrived, you could enjoy and relax in the house. The studio is another paradise in the house, anyone wants a quiet time, you can hide there. The kids love the garage converted game room. They stay there while adults enjoy their own sport channel in the living room. All TVs are connected to online Netflex. We had few heavy rains moment. It was not bored to stay indoor at different rooms to enjoy your own indoor activities. We had few issues in the house, but this is an unforeseen year. I believe it would be difficult to follow usual once a year checking or maintenance in the house. Jon has responded the issues to follow up. Thanks Jon for your special gifts and hosting. We have a full house family 10 people and this house provided a cot, this was the main reason to pick.

Absolutely amazing. The property was exactly the same as the pictures. Jon was so accommodating and responsive to our needs. The only thing that would have made the property beyond perfect would be if there was a pool, but then we might never have left! So great. Thank you.

Weekend away with family and friends
Lovely house with all the ammenities plus more. Just as described in listing and perfectly situated right next to the beach. Our family and friends had a great time, and the boys loved the garage/entertainment room in the back. Jon was very responsive and made our stay very comfortable. We have little ones under the age of two and found the house to be very family friendly. Thanks for the great stay we will definitely book again!

Luxurious, convenient and relaxing stay
We visited for the State nippers titles and our stay was a pleasant surprise. The house had Top of the range appliances which made our stay extra comfortable. The layout of the bedrooms was perfect for the amount of people staying (10) and everyone seemed to have their own space which was great. The convenience of being opposite the beach was great and an outside shower with shampoo, conditioner and body wash was a lovely way to finish off an ocean swim. The check in and check out process was so easy. Thank you to Jon and Gabrielle we will definitely be booking again next year!
