We loved staying in this beautiful cabin in a beautiful setting! As others have said, the pictures don't do it justice. It is beautifully decorated and very cozy. Everything we needed was there and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. It was great that there were so many spices and condiments already on hand. The location is very peaceful and we saw lots of wildlife wandering around. The lake and some great trailheads are nearby. There is a small grocery store nearby with local meats, local produce and all the basics that you need. The host was very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to go. We even hired him to take us on a fishing excursion and grilled fresh rainbow trout that evening! We didn't want to leave and will definitely be back!

My family of 8 had a wonderful few days at this lovely home. The house was clean and decorated beautifully to give us the mountain feel we were hoping for. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of activities for those not interested in relaxing on the deck amid the evergreens. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the Durango area. (And we would also rent boats on the nearby reservoir which we didn’t know was an option until too late.)

The pictures on the listing really don't do this property justice. This cabin is so roomy, with 10 people there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy, play, and sleep. Property managers was very gracious and helpful as we had people traveling from various places. Game room was great for entertaining everyone. We will definitely return to this property.

Nice well equipped cabin. Plenty of room for a large family. We enjoyed our stay here. The game room worked out great for the kids. Would definitely consider staying at this location again.

No hot tub. There is a jetted tub in the bathroom.. After the second shower, you have to wait an hour for hot water again. Washer was messed up and had to make it work.

The host was very nice and welcoming. He was there when I arrived and told me everything I needed to know about the place. Very high end. Perfect place for a family reunion. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an upscale cabin with some privacy. Thanks again James

When we first pulled up, we immediately noticed how the photos did not do this place justice! It is a hidden gem at the top of road tucked off a high perch in the forest not far from the lake and middle mountain trail riding. There is plenty of drive-way space for many vehicles and even the two trailers we hauled with our Polaris Rangers. Right away Dana met us there to show us around the cabin. The hospitality from the owners goes above and beyond. We didn't need a thing! There are plenty of clean linens, towels, pillows even bar soap, shampoo & conditioner and loofas. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, baking ingredients, pots, pans, utensils, good knives and cutting boards. There are even two coffee pots. One is a keurig/pot variety. I can go on and on, but literally everything you need is there to enjoy your stay. Paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and sponge.... These owners have checked every box! I have to also mention the fun game room as seen in the photos. The kids had a blast while us adults had our adult time! The cabin is beautifully rustic and cozy. Don't hesitate to book with James and Dana! We would love to stay there again. Thank you so much for having us!

We will be back! We knew from the moment we arrived we knew we made a great choice of places to stay. The owners graciously greeted us. They gave a thorough tour and were available via text for any questions throughout our stay. The house is fully stocked and beautifully decorated. We didn't want for anything during our stay. We look forward to our next visit!

We loved the Cabin! My son really loved the game room! So quiet and peaceful. James gave great recommendations like food and recreation areas for sledding. The house was clean and cozy. Dana was so helpful and they both answered any questions we had. We look forward to another visit... maybe during the summer!

Such a beautiful cabin tucked away in National forest with so much to do. Cabin has a ton of amenities, super comfy beds and the absolute best hosts just next door!

James and Dana have done a great job providing everything we needed for a wonderful week. The house is nicely decorated. The game room in the basement was great for all the tween aged boys to hang out and let the adults have some quiet time. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our group of nine with the boys occupying the hidden beds in the basement. The internet connection was strong and useful.

This cabin is a very beautiful place to be. Gods country for sure. James and Dana were great we made two new friends for sure. Great place to clear your mind and take in the beautiful country. Cant wait to do it again. Much recommended.

Fantastic getaway in these difficult times. Property is everything you could hope for to escape to the Colorado mountains. Property is awesome, game room a definite plus for the kids/teens/adults. Property owners excellent hosts, provided everything we needed including info on local activities. Cleanliness 5 stars, especially in lieu of COVID concerns. Will definitely be back!
